There's only so much ANY company can do at this point. We've had folding phones for over 5 years and I've yet to see one in the wild. Obviously it's a cool concept and has a ton of use cases but it's clearly not popular. Then again, spending nearly $2,000 for a phone is out of reach for most anyone. I'm very excited to upgrade from the 12 Pro to the 16 Pro. This is why I only upgrade every 4 years so there are a lot of changes and upgrades. All of the people that expect massive changes from one year to the next are only kidding themselves.
I'm on a 14 Pro right now, and I'm looking forward to upgrading to the 16 Pro. Sure, it looks mostly the same on the outside, but my inner wannabe RUclipsr is excited about things like the studio mics, 4K cinematic and 120fps slow-mo, upgraded cameras, the 5x optical zoom on the non-Max, significant battery life bump, and that new button since it seems to make accessing video features easier. Ground-breaking it isn't, but some nice quality-of-life features for videographers.
I have the 14 Pro Max and really wasn't gonna upgrade my phone is on the fritz and I haven't even done anything but use it accordingly, but the camera is something I wanted for my YT since I can't afford a camera right now. Super giddy to get my hands on the Pro Max in Black!

Faster chip, brighter screen, camera went from 12 to 48mp, 2x and 5x telephoto, 4k 120fps, better antennas, faster wireless charger, 4 professional mics. Watching this video with all that background noise and chatter sells the audio features alone.

I am definitely upgrading! I have a iPhone 12 Pro Max and my phone does NOT hold a charge anymore! It is always dead or the battery is always low! I am sick of carrying my huge anker power bank everywhere I go! I can't take it anymore and need a new phone. If I didn't have the battery issues I would definitely keep my 12 pro max for another year! I absolutely refuse to go back to crappy laggy android! I have a newer Samsung phone for work and I hate the operating system! Apple is so much easier to use and I prefer iMessage over android messaging!
