I don’t understand why people are so upset about not having a specific goggles only for HD! But with a HDMI’s you can have both, analog or digital. Anyway you need un adaptor.
Cobra X analog goggles with an HDzero digital module is my next move. It's great that we can have the best analog box goggles and also use them for digital. I'm stoked!

I too think more partnerships in fpv is a good thing for us, should be much more common. That yogurt is so dang good. Hard to stay out of it…come on dannon
@@NickBurnsFPV I was just talking to my gf about this exact thing an hour ago. The more these companies link up, compete, and advance the tech, the more options, better prices and quality, and better availability of parts we'll have in the hobby. The hobby is evolving in great ways in my opinion!

Just wanted to say thanks for what you do...and I notice when some just jump on bandwagons and push certain brands etc....glad you do not...You prefer what you prefer and do not over-sale something , it makes a BIG difference.

You must have your camera in PAL mode to get the DVR to record a 50 FPS. You may want to double-check your camera setting and see if it does change the DVR FPS when on PAL vs NTSC. If you were to put your camera settings to NTSC then it should record at 60 FPS. PAL will give you better image quality (576 lines) at a slower FPS (50FPS) while NTSC will give you faster FPS (60FPS) at a lower image quality (480 lines). I hope this helps you.
Question to Racers: do you prefer the smaller 33" screen of the race-version? is it a benefit? that you see everything sharp and you dont need your eyes refocussing that often?

You have that stair dive down. I'm terrible with the stairs in my house. Hard 90s at the top and bottom
A hard 90 does make it more challenging. The benefit I have is the stair wall doesn’t go all the way down. Less precise
Hdzero + orqa 👍 the more the merrier. Open system for all the companies to jump in on.
orqa goggles are my next investment, been rocking my fatshark dom v3 since they where new. what a long flight its been lol.
They are good goggles I don’t think you will be unhappy with them.

Not for me. The smaller fov isn’t as fun when flying inside, and the cameras we use inside don’t highlight the more vivid screens in the v2

LOL you found my wife and I secret about the Yogurt! My wife has been eating this yogurt for over a yr now and I just got on the craze about a few months ago, love the Cherry flavor. It's great especially at night when the craving monster visits a few hours after dinner LOL. Also, loving my new Orqa's, I just got mine yesterday and the image IMHO is pretty awesome. I am coming from HDO V1 so for me this is absolutely an upgrade. I am waiting on a cable so I can try my Sharkbyte setup which I hope will be even better than the analog. Also, I posted this on the Orqa FB page but the view, screen whatever is absolutely bigger than 37deg, I am estimating maybe 39-40deg? This is assuming my FS HDO's are 37deg.
I have been eating the raspberry flavor for months, the strawberry cheesecake was a fantastic surprise. I agree the screens are more crisp and vivid. Our analog cameras don’t make much use of this change. The focus picture does show it imho
So stick with the V1 if you own them and if not get the skyzone 04X?

Late to this particular party but what do you mean by the DVR recording at 50fps consistently?
If it's recording an NTSC camera at 50fps then it's dropping 10fps somehow, which can only result in uneven footage, motion wise.
As for recording good 50fps or 60fps footage from analogue cameras, I've yet to see an analogue DVR in the FPV world which impresses me, not seen one that can do deinterlacing with any competence, they all produce footage that continually jumps up/down by a single pixel.
by consistently I mean from recording to recording I get the same fps. The Fatshark and other 30fps dvr, I get 23fps to 26fps from recording to recording and when I was syncing it to a 60fps flight audio recording (video) it was rare I could get it ti sync properly, likely due to the fps varying withing the recording.
Very helpful, but of course you know we want to know what you think. Will you be switching? 😂
No I don’t plan to switch. I am looking hard at getting the the skyzone v2 dvr.

Did they ever get the streaming feature to work on the connect module?
I only tested it early with the original goggles and while it did kinda work it would disconnect and die often. I have heard it hasn't gotten much better.

I would like to be able to join more streams. Unfortunately with work and the kids after school activities my schedule is fairly rough. I would hope Ivan or another representative of Orqa would hold their own stream to answer questions.
Have you used the DJI Goggles? The menu is comparable; very polished.
While it is better, I don't think it compares. The DJI menu appears much more industrial imho.
The dji menu is clunky and looks like a menu from a 2000s camera

My FS Dom3s are “ok”, but with the new goggles surfacing.. I think I will be updating in the near future
Haha I still run dom v1 when I race. Which is only twice a year.. other than that I'm dji. The latency really isn't a big deal when your used to it

Blue tac, been in the household as far as my memories go back. Only now I fly FPV I understand it's true power haha.
Still glad I got HD02s, they are simple and reliable, not sure my mates FPV1 goggles will ever be fixed which is very unfortunate and a bit of bad service from orqa. I don't fully trust them to actually fix thier products long term given they have just left a bunch of pilots with broken top tier goggles here in Australia.
And wow that FOV difference seems huge, I couldn't go back after fatsharks FOV no matter how many features a goggle has.
If you don't mind what issues are your fpv suffering with?
@@NickBurnsFPV not me personally it's guy n gal's in the local fpv group. One screen or borh screens won't power on. The goggles power up etc but no image on them...
@@NickBurnsFPV this is on the OG orqas, one I know sent them to europe and got them back with an apology letter that they couldn't get parts to fix them, which I found weird. I feel bad as I have his old HDO2s, I may sell them back to him if he asks as I feel bad for him not having goggles for ages. I don't think he's flown in months and it's beautiful summer here.
@@slowentropy4531 oh that is weird to get a letter. I bet this has something to do with the v2 decisions. If they can't get parts for v1, and those parts are the screens then they can't likely get improved screens with the same fov.
@@NickBurnsFPV yeah no idea hey, all I know is they have the most expensive FPV goggles on the market as a paperweight... Unfortunate situation for them to be in. I will sell my HDO2s back to them as I'm just as happy to fly EV800DM goggles for a while till I can find another second hand set of fatsharks. They can't handle box goggles haha, so they haven't flown since which is sad.

Practice 😁. Try flying angle mode and decrease the strength over time.
I eat protein yogurt and pudding all the time. Halfway through my diet here! The runcam might have variable framerate. Caddx Orca has it, which is annoying at post.
I was leaning that way with the runcam. With only this one example I didn’t feel I could make that assessment

I have already the Orqa v1 version and still thinking on getting a backup set, but hesitant on v2 due to the screen size.
Looking at this time stamp ruclips.net/video/hk8cf-BNXgg/видео.html it seems that contrast in v2 is not as good as the v1 by looking into the text.
That very much could be a miss representation, in the goggles I see it as the opposite.
We need a larger fov, not smaller 🤷
I get that it's probably about what screens are available. Shame, it could have been perfect.

No, we haven't heard a word about Orqa digital in a year or more. Maybe not for the consumer market or some uncommunicated delays.
