    That camo and red-orange contrast is sick! It's got like a hype-beast feel to them.

    I am loving my orqa’s! But the defogger fan sucks. The ability to connect to your phone to update and live stream your flights is amazing, plus have a dvr that records on 60 FPS is awesome. I also have FatShark hdo 2’s as a backup which I love just as much.

    • @TweetFPV

      Yea I totally agree. I a lot of people hate the face fan and I do as well. I probably should have tried to scab on a bigger fan while I was in there. I think it could be possible with some 3d printing and patients. Everything else about these goggles is way above its competition. The Fpv connect doesn't work for me unless I use speedify to keep my cell and wifi active at the same time (galaxy note 8) and this is a issue for a lot of owners. I hope orqa figures out that one but I doubt it. Too many avrriables in phones.

      TweetFPV oh and the headband sucks. I ordered two new ones they recently updated the materials they are made of. Thanks again for this awesome video. Wish we can see some up to date videos on these goggles with all the firmware changes.

      i purchased a 25x25x7mm pi-fan. tiny dab of liquid electrical tape. placed fan over defogger inlet on top of goggles. ran the pi-fan power cable in between the faceplate foam and the velcro to the receiver side and stubbed it out the side of foam very discretely. hide a 1s whoop battery in goggle strap loop. yes, i would have preferred an internal solution, but for me, those ribbon cables are a nightmare to work with. this solution came out better than i thought it would. looks like other goggles with external fan. works well feeding fresh air in to the internal fan, instead of the internal fan recirculating the hot air inside the goggles. no opening or cutting mod to the goggles is needed for this. the pi-fans are like 2 for $10 on ebay. they come with lengthy 2 pole power leads. pretty sure we all have loads of 1s batteries. 1s 300mAh powers the fan nicely. cheers 🍻 thanks for this awesome tutorial.
      i just now posted a short video showing the mod on my goggles. nothing special but helps.

    Really appreciate your videos. Great info! Most info on orqa goggles I’ve been able to find. In the market for new goggles (currently have aomway v1) and trying to do research on these has been tough. Any word on a digital system coming from them in the near future? Not a huge selling point for me personally but it’d be nice to have the option.

    • @TweetFPV
      @TweetFPV  4 года назад +1

      The orqas are fantastic. The digital thing probably isn't gonna happen but you never know. Typically I recommend dji to anyone who wants goggles and racing isn't something they are going to do.

    • @WBBlocker
      @WBBlocker 4 года назад

      TweetFPV just went to my first race over the weekend and definitely want to race more. But would also like to freestyle and have the option for HD. So maybe DJI are the way to go. Going to struggle with this a while longer lol thanks for the content.

    • @TweetFPV
      @TweetFPV  4 года назад

      The only thing I didn't like about dji and analog is when the analog signal degrades enough you will get a black dji logo screen before you get your analog signal back.

    • @TweetFPV
      @TweetFPV  4 года назад

      I really like racing. It's way more frustrating than acro for me. Just because there is a tangible result of your efforts and can be measured against you previous attempts and everyone else's effort.

    • @WBBlocker
      @WBBlocker 4 года назад

      TweetFPV sure I’ve heard of that happening with the DJI analog set up. That would definitely suck in a racing scenario. How long would you have to wait to get the analog signal back on the DJIs after getting the logo screen? I’m leaning towards racing for those exact reasons-well said. I really liked the adrenaline of the competition as well.

    That is weird about the goggles, I mean, it all started out with people hacking stuff together, now people want everything all ready to go. Goggles are like anything else, a plastic box with optics with your choice of modular receivers etc.

    Is this the same optical module as the HDO2? It looks the same (I know the OLED screens are identical). I'm wondering if I could buy a pair or Orqas with busted screens and just swap the entire module out from my HDO2's to try Orqa...

    Spends a good while talking about why they should be white because making them 'cool' should be more important than making them 'look' cool. Takes the trouble send them out to be custom painted. Doesn't get them painted white, nor even a light color. :lol:

    • @TweetFPV
      @TweetFPV  3 года назад

      I didn't pay for the paint job. I left it up to the painter to do what he needed for product photos. If I had a choice a light color would have been done.
