      Hey Inga,
Have been trying this coffee for years now. There is this version of filter coffee in India what we do, boil your milk to a simmer and, to that coffee mix you just made add the warm milk. It helps in easy mixing and incorporates the flavour evenly...

    30 mg of instant coffee
    30 mg of sugar
30 ml of hot water (The process will be faster if you use hot water)
Tilt the bowl slightly and mix in a vertical motion. After a few minutes, it should come together. If not, keep mixing. When you are satisfied with the coffee, get a cup. Put ice in the cup, then add milk. Finally, add the coffee on top and enjoy.

She whisked it wrong which is why it took forever. When you're whisking this, make sure to tilt the bowl slightly and whisk in an up and down circular motion, not like a flat circular motion. And when you start whisking, DO NOT STOP until it reaches the consistency you want. If you do it right it'll only take 3-4 minutes till it's nice and fluffy.

    • @michaelavalos8619
      @michaelavalos8619 4 года назад +50

@@musicmakesmelosecontrol8238 think about when you're making hot coco and you pour the mix into the cup, you start stirring it, that's a flat circular motion. What you wanna do is holding a whisk (or spoon) hold the bowl tilted, and whisk in a circular motion but like you're feeding yourself something to eat. Vertical whisk I guess in a way. Watch other videos and you'll see what I'm talking about.

actually, idk why no one knows that, you can do it so much faster if u add very little water at first. For example, if you put 2 tbsp coffee, 2 tbsp sugar and half tsp water, it will whip up and get a very light color very fast. after getting the light color you want, slowly add the remaining water and mix.
long story short, mix with very little water at first, you’ll be finished in 2 minutes. then add the rest water.

Hey guys I made this manually today and even without hot water ( I used room temperature water but I think hot water would have made it easier) and it turned out great! I used around 2 tablespoons of coffee and sugar and water. My advice: make sure you use enough sugar as it’s really important for it to become frothy. Also, make sure you use a whisk! I used a fork in the beginning and it took forever until I found my whisk. It did take time but it was fun and a mini workout lol. Put on a show or RUclips and get whisking! Btw with my proportions I was able to make also 2-3 cups of coffee for me and my family. Tell me how it works out for you guys!
Also as a persona, preference I lightly mixed in some brown cane sugar at the end so I got slight sugar crystals while I drank it which elevated the drink for me.
Thanks so much for posting this Inga! You inspired me, and my family and I loved the drink! ❤️

I tried this using Taster's Choice. A bit acidic. Probably would have been much better with NesCafe. You're totally right though about the consistency... It was heavenly! (I used a hand blender so it took about 3 minutes.) Poured over oat milk since I have dairy allergies and it was soooo creamy. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us to make something!

This looks amazing 😍 but if I like very weak coffee, will it matter if I change the ratio of coffee and sugar?
Usually I have half a teaspoon of coffee and 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey when drinking coffee.
So if I put 1 tablespoon of sugar and half a tablespoon of coffee, will the consistency be the same?
Can't wait to try it out! 😄 I'll probably add lots of soya milk if it's too strong.

This is just normal coffee for me...
TBH watching this become a trend is a little hilarious for me
But I'm Soo happy people get to try this
    Anyway some personal tips
    1. Mixing it in a mug with a big spoon makes it easier
    2. Make it THICCC but don't over mix it ( I'm sure you could go a little lighter than this)
    3. I personally have always been able to tell the difference between hand mixed and electric blend ( hand blend is definitely worth it)

Tilting the bowl slightly is key to good whisking when you're going for peaks (egg whites, dalgona coffee, etc.). Using more ingredients also helps - I've seen some people doing 1tsp/1tsp/1tsp and that is a struggle. I did 2T (30ml) of each and it took about 3 minutes whisking by hand to get a nice, stiff consistency.
