Paint of any kind should not be dumped down drains in any quantity.
Clean your tools in a container in which the waste can either be taken to a hazardous waste disposal facility or, in the case of latex/acrylic paints, let it separate, pour off the water and dispose of the paint after it has set/hardened completely.
