Colorful fruits and vegetables, collagen supplement, fermented food, reduce sugar intake, intermittent fasting.
and wholegrain and ghee ,so good❤! and no meet!
I'm 29 turning 30 and the girls in my college classes that are 19-21 thought I was their age. I drink 1-2 liters of water a day, eat veggies and omega fish; however, I eat tiramisu from time to time, but common life is short.
What a really sincere, unselfish/selfless, and concerned doctor !
Doctor Youn is a kind one, hence, a blessing to us.
Like holding a can of coke in the thumbnail.. yeah real honest.. can I sell you a left handed screwdriver 🤣 or maybe a skyhook 🤣😂🤣

My oldest son is 24 and I’m 57, a few weeks ago we went for a lunch at a Japanese restaurant and the cashier thought I was his friend. That wasn’t the fist time coz the same happened when we went to a furniture shop and other places. I love food and I eat almost everything only in smaller portions now compared to when I was younger.😊
It's amazing that you look so young :O I'm glad to find a cute comment like yours

Yes but your skin will sag no matter what
My grandmother was stunning... Softest skin ever. She passed in March 2018, just 3 weeks shy of her 107th birthday. She used rosewater and had a strong cup of coffee every morning ... Just one. She took a multivitamin. And had lots of water. 💞 My papa passed December 26, 2008 at age 97. He had his two cups of morning coffee with a tablet of saccharin.... I just do what they did. It really is in my favor that genetics play a big role. My paternal g-father died in a fire before my birth. But my paternal grandmother died in 2004 at 89... And she had a hard life. Raised 10 kids. Dipped Railroad Mills snuff DAILY but never smoked a cigarette. Sipped on vodka often. And ate fried chicken and homemade biscuits and gravy with bacon AT LEAST twice a week! She was on dialysis the last two years, sadly. So I have made improvements to my diet and quit smoking 3 years ago in Feb. Got my seriously high blood pressure under control. And I aspire to have nice long life. 💞
Good for you, man! Sounds like you’ve really turned your life around. I’m proud of you, stranger 💪 (no sarcasm intended 😅)
How did you get your blood pressure under control?
@@Mimi-hn6iv diet, exercise, and eliminate stress. You should make an appointment to see the doctor. It may be an underlying issue. I recently experienced pulmonary embolism. My blood pressure was high because I had blood clots in my lungs. The clots traveled from my legs to my lungs. See your PCP asap if you have high blood pressure.
Good for you, for making the changes you need for your life.
@@Mimi-hn6iv There are a lot of teas out there that also aim at lowering blood pressure. Hibiscus, ginger, chamomile, tumeric ect. Of course talk to a doctor first, but it's good to look at things holistically. Too much traditional medication can affect your kidneys over time.
Growing up I had a terrible time with acne. The medical community at the time firmly established that there was no connection between diet and acne. Enter two decades later and going on a vegan diet for health reasons. The first month of no dairy and my skin cleared up in a month. I never had issues with lactose intolerance, so this occurrence was rather surprising. Some people may be lucky enough to eat anything and have amazing skin. Lucky if you are One, I was not one of those. Now in my mature age I have amazing Skin, with all of the great skincare products out there, plus my diet devoid of meat and dairy no kidding in some ways I look more vibrant than when I was much younger. Mom's genes certainly helped too.
🌸 I didn’t like milk so my mom struggled to get me to drink it
My brother had it every day. I never had ache while he had it growing up
I do believe we are what we eat, I did take my calcium supplements from natural sources
It's acidic foods that are not good for us the thing that ages us more than glycation going on a alkaline diet is what's best for us even better if it was a raw vegan diet because cooked foods cause slow vowel transit time raw foods make it happen faster
@@TranceGurl20 Nah, it depends on the person. I can eat acidic foods en masse without problems, but give me milk and my body loses its shit.
An amino acid supplement like a vitamin, over the counter called L-Lysine can cure acne if you feel a pimple starting to form, it is also good for canker sores. (I had a food allergy that caused my problems. Garlic.)
@@nicelydone9776 yes you are right not much people know about lysine, but a while back I stumbled upon it online and there are so much benefits for taking it, especially for collagen production
Ever since I have been doing keto my eczema is 99.9% gone.I feel like a new person 💖
Most people think I am 26 they are shocked I have adult children and Ill be 39 in two days. I do not take supplements, I don't use fancy products on my skin but I love my fresh fruit/vegetables and water to my core always have.
This reminds me of a lady that went viral a long time ago because she only ate fruits and vegetables all her life from her 20s and looked like she was in her 30s or 40s when she was actually in her 70s 😳 she also worked out and had a perfect hourglass figure.

Thanks for sharing your youth tips!! It is so vital that we treat our bodies well. Wanted to add that exercise is so incredibly important too. Exercise can reverse aging and flush toxins. Eating well though is the basics. Water, fiber, and the rainbow. I’m a big fan of collagen too 😉 and omegas
Cutting dairy out of my diet reduced my chronic lower back pain by at least 80%. I had struggled with it for 20 years, and it’s been better now for about 5 years.

I do intermitten fasting 16/8 since last july. And stop sugar, wine and beer. Beside lost weight my body feels great, light and my face not round anymore.
Thank you Dr. Youn. Also No smoking and use sunscreen. 👍🏻
My husband stopped drinking sodas, and has replaced them with sparkling water. He's lost 20 lbs too! All your tips are great! BTW- I'm going to stop drinking milk now. 😂
That’s awesome! Soda is terrible for your body and teeth! I cut way back and drink sparkling water! I also stick my water bottle in the freezer, ice cold water! :)
milk is so hard for me, i love milk :(
@@dione2610 You don't need to stop
Poor him
@@dione2610 I love milk too, and I still look great for my age, everyone says so. And i have horrible habits, like I don't exercise or eat fruit every day, etc. Obviously the environment will thank anyone for ditching dairy though, but I'm definitely calling cap on ditching dairy to make you look younger (unless you have an allergy).
My doctor told me that collagen powders actually go to the cartilage and joints before they ever reach the skin. He prescribed tretinoin for me.
Love this video! My skin became so much better since I live a animal friendly (Vegan) lifestyle. It's amazing!

I think green tea is quite the jump from soda drinks. I don’t drink soda and I like green tea, but I’d say that cold brew fruit teas are a great swap from soda drinks, as some actually taste like soda, just without the fizz. It’s tough enough convincing people to give fruit tea a try instead of their beloved soda, let alone green tea 🙃
He also suggested kombucha, which is what I swapped for soda. Has almost no sugar and tastes great. That and sparkling water and I don't even miss soda.
I agree fruits and vegetables are good in variety.
Dr ... now when eva I see your face I just smile ... thanks for the happy vibrations.... always ... thank u for all the great info and fun shorts... have a super beautiful day 🌈🫶😁

For someone who has a Candida allergy, I need to stay away from fermented foods. I do kefir based smoothies 3-4 days per week. What else can I do? I do NOT drink sodas at all!
The only difference I see with old and young is the level of body hydration. My granny is 90 and she just looks dried up compared to my mom. The old wrinkled look is similar to that of a plum verses a prune. It’s oxidised and dried out. So staying young would seem to work the same way. Keep oxidative stress/damage low and stay hydrated by any means necessary. Anti oxidants, water, sleep, stress free, breath work to bring oxygen & blood flood through the cells and definitely agree with the fermented foods thing. Stimulate autophagy and reduce glycation and increase growth hormone.
Against time you cannot do anything.
Thank you
Thank you very much Dr. Youn!!!!❤❤❤ I love you and all your help and of course your beautiful sense of humor that you bless us with from time to time. God bless you, your 👪and friends 🙏❤♥💕💖and your channel 🙏❤♥🙌💕
You can do a lot to help yourself. Moderate sugar intake
Stay hydrated
Lots of fruit and vegetables
Also, genetics does play a part
I struggle with Terrible cystic acne all over my face and I’m a little big over weight. Nothing crazy but like I wanna be 15 pounds smaller. I set a goal for myself by Jan 1 I’ll loose some weight and change my diet for better skin. Will update accordingly
Organic, pasture raised whole raw milk (non-pasteurized, non-homogenized) or A2 milk (gently pasteurized) non-homogenized is best. I thought I was lactose intolerant, but, I actually had an issue with the A1 beta-casein in milk.
I knew I was not lactose intolerant because I could eat cheese. Finally found out I had issues with whey.
75% of the people in the world are lactose intolerant ,myself included !! We are the only species drink milk for the tastes & recipes, not for growth like other species does which is wrong ! I only eat dairy in cokkies & pudding ,desserts (occasionally ) .💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞
Thank you so much Dr. Youn….I will follow your instructions for my skin getting
glow again since I am in the 50s now😮
Yeah my diet affects my skin more than anything. My tip to looking young and preserving your youth is drinking lots of water, sleeping as much as you can afford, green tea, and being Asian. Nice vid Doctor! Subbed
Being black also lol

yup i’m lactose intolerant an coeliac ,so lactose intolerant too, black coffee and plant milk in tea ,no sugar in either .

Thank you doctor, i appreciate the information.
Lactose isn't the only thing people can be intolerant to when it comes to milk, casein and whey can cause issues as well.
Thank you.
I do IF daily and workout in fasted state. I also do hiit exercises fasted to get a surge of human growth hormone..
I switched my son's doctor because his pediatrician shamed me for giving him peanutbutter on toast told me plain dry toast was best in fact anything for him was off limits even if it was a source of good fat he'd always say "No feed him plain food that's loaded with fat" to which I would reply "YEAH good fat" this pediatrician seemed as if he was encouraging me to restrict my son's diet down to the point he ate not much of anything. So I switched his doctor and this doctor says I'm doing a good job cooking him home cooked wholesome meals. I've never experienced a doctor suggesting a kid eat hardly any food until that pediatrician.
Good move! There are a lot of bad doctors out there.
He is right about the peanut butter tho ..Not exactly good fat and mostly sugar

Wow I have been doing intermittent fasting for a long time, but now that you say that it’s great for keeping your skin youthful makes me feel even better 🤌🏼✨
Saturated fat is so important for underlying collagen structures though… as long as it’s grass fed sources saturated fat keeps the skin bouncy too

Especially about intermittent fasting
I was already doing that

I ended up not drinking pops by living on my own. I wanted to save as much as I could and ended up cutting it out. Now I only get pop when I go out to eat and even then it's less likely for me to. I drink water, tea, or coffee, but mainly water because it's safe to drink out of the tap. Juice is purely if my body sugar is low which is normally after an anxiety attack or a lot of stress. I never crave pop anymore!
Edit: grammar
I don’t eat dairy or wheat, because it causes acne for me so this makes sense.
Dr youn do you think lip fillers are safe? I’m 30 and have never gotten them before
I read that if you drink coffee before you even ate anything in the morning, it can cause high level of blood sugar that can cause stomachache, vomits and sleepiness. Is that true? And I also read that if you mix milk in your coffee, the milk will destroy the secondary plant substances and other beneficial things that the pure coffee has
Definitely not for me, I take one cup every morning. But each body is different, and if one doesn't have the habit it might cause bad mild reactions initially.
People always told me you should drink more milk for a beautiful face and whenever I got the milk there is always a few acnes on my face. I thought problem is my face but the real problem was milk I learnt it thanks to video…. Thank you for information
I can’t eat dairy but I love eating dairy used foods 🥹😢 like cookies. I don’t eat it often and treat it like a treat… and now I take lactose pills with it when I do eat it
Thanks for your video 💕🌹
Dairy also makes my undereye bags prominent
Dr Youn, Please what is your take on Kefir? Thank you.
Thanks
So useful! ❤
Great tips.
Many Thanks for sharing! Very helpful! 🙏🌞❤️👍👍👍
Instead of Kabucha and Tea, glass of water is a great alternative. And its free 👌
I eat dairy but I buy the organic milk and ferment it so it turns into kefir. It doesn’t give me any issues.
Dairy, specifically fermented, actually helps me with digestion- but I'm descended from long lines of dairy-consuming people; it makes sense that the opposite would be true for those from cultures where dairy is absent.
Also, sheep and goat milk are far easier to digest than cow's milk, and from what I've read, are less likely to cause acne or inflammation. If you're like me and benefit from dairy, or you love it and have issues, that may be useful to you.
PS: I've gone through extensive food elimination diets (I have medical issues) and dairy was not a trigger, seemingly.
My point is that, statistically, given that so few cultures use dairy, but dairy products are popular in Western Societies, I can see it being a common trigger when a variety of people are tested. Try eliminating it and see if it makes a difference, it very well might, but it also might not. In my case, it helps, but it needs to be fermented.
I love milk. It’s one of my favourite foods. I have always drunk high quantities of milk (plus all the yoghurt and cheese I been eating) since I was a child, so I guess my body remained used to it.
I have super strong bones thanks to this 😂
You’re so lucky. I grew up having diary in my diet but looking back I showed signs of intolerance. Now as an adult my stomach can’t handle it at all, so I’ve cut it out. The only downside is trying to avoid it when it’s a stable part of American diet.
Exactly.İ am Turkish and dairy ,in particular, yogurt is a big staple in my culture.İ cannot imagine a life without dairy and İ have never had acne problem.Actually İ dont really see big skin issues in Turkish people in general who consume a lot of dairy. İ think doctors overgeneralize everything. We are all unique.İ feel way better when İ consume things that my ancestors consumed .
Kefir goats milk , non GMO , organic being the best i beleive seven farms has
well said! I drink milk in my coffee every morning, as a latte, and I also drink things like mango lassis or make smoothies with yogurt. I don't have any reaction to it that I can tell, unless its some kind of invisible compounding thing. But regardless my dermatologist says I have perfect skin and I'm almost 40, so I don't believe the idea that dairy is bad for everyone.
Thank u Dr youn

I have an awful sugar addiction myself 😩 I eat a bowl of Froot loops with Marshmallows every night before bed 🤦🏻♀️ I have started taking cinnamon tablets an that helps but I'm also looking for other options cause I'm almost 40 🤣 an my metabolism isn't what it use to be 😬
Sugar is a addiction. You need to not eat that many carbs.
Healthier carbs. Like veggies and fruits. For example: Dates and honey is one of my favorite dessert replacements. Yeah the honey is added sugar but it’s got it’s own health benefits

My daughters dermatologist said that you don't need expensive collegen supplements as you can get it from food and told me not to waste my money.
The doctor is right. A lot of them have added ingredients that could do more harm than good. I know because I used to take them but suffered constant stomaches before dropping them. Changing my diet has done more for me than taking supplements.

I have never (not even as teenager) had any problem with acnea, no problem on my skin (I am 40 alread but I still look about 10 years younger).
I am not saying that it's thanks to the milk. Not at all! I just point out that, in my case, milk did no harm. And I love milk! I dislike and avoid soda and alcohol. And I cannot stand staying in the sun, since I was a kid - therefore I always avoid it as best I can.
