I'm in my late 30s and friends and random compliment me on my smooth and radiant skin ALL OF THE TIME! Before I even watch this video I can tell you that healthy skin is more about what you PUT INTO your diet than what you take out. Sure, avoiding ultra processed sugary/salty/fried food as much as you can is a MUST, but eating LOTS of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds is what keeps my skin and hair glowing... also the reason why I cannot get away from highlighting my hair every month (my hair grows crazy fast!). Also, SPF 50 every day, 2 litres of water, daily workout and nightly retinol. You're welcome!

completely agree with you. lots of raw plant based foods and lots of fluids does help keep good skin. I am 47 but look like i am in my 30's. ive quit sugar and dairy for quiet some time and have replaced my calcium needs with Sesame seeds and coconuts. also I have a seed mix which is a mix of pumpkin, sesame, flax, sunflower melon seeds and I add a few spoons of fennel seeds and dried dates to this mix to make it even more nutritious. I eat about 2-3 spoons of this mix everyday. I eat a lot of different kinds of millets too in various forms. this helps eliminate carbs from rice and wheat and other glutenous grains. another very nutritious grain to add in your diet is Horsegram. it has the highest protein content of any other grain. soak and let it sprout. then steam it for about 30 mins. you may just add some seasoning to this and eat or add it to soups or salads.

Sane for me at your age, however not getting the complete proteins and amino acids will catch up to you..especially when you hit menopause..the bottom drops out when your hormone levels drop. It happened to me. However now that I've incorporated clean animal protein back into my diet with micronutrient blood panels to see specifically what nutrients I lacked so I could supplement appropriately , HRT ..and medical grade skincare, reitnols my skin much improved.was able to reverse some of that aging as well as slow it down and my skin keeps improving

I've been, paleo, keto or carnivore for 15 years. I go out in the sun, I did a lot of extreme weather sports. I'm 38 and people often think I'm 30. I'm not advocating baking in the sun, but high protein, high quality animal based diet did me right. I also mainly ate dark berries and cooked veggies rather than more sugary fruit or raw veggies. Later on I supplemented liver and fish eggs often.
Also i cured chronic migraines, got rid of my PMS, and naturally conceived two kids on the first try over the age of 36,... just a related side note.

I went to my dermatologist this morning for a follow up from my VI-Chemical Peel and I asked about rf microneedling as the next step for treating my acne scars. She told me I wasn’t a candidate for rf microneedling for two reasons: 1) because I’m dark skin and at risk of hyperpigmentation and 2) my skin does not have any laxity issues. She then said my skin was young. That just made my day because I’m 40 (although my skin is still acne prone). I am so glad I started using tretinoin in my 20s in addition to sunscreen, but amped up my skincare routine in my early 30s when I began using vitamin C serums, peptide serums and exfoliating weekly with glycolic acids. Turns out having acne did some good for me after all.

Thing is I've seen studies that say you can get most nutrients except vitamin C through meats if you are eating grass fed, pasture raised meats, as the nutrients are in the diet of the animal and are more bioavailable than eating vegetables as many people can't break them down completely enough and absorb the nutrients. Vegetable should be cooked enough to be more easily digested and a good majority of people could use the assistance of a digestive supplement and Betaine HCL with pepsin. People who are without their gallbladders need those as well as ox bile to help them break down fats and proteins and absorb the nutrients properly.

I have lots of muscle mass and my face has changed so much over the last 3years. Trying plant based, vegan, collagen boosts. I know that collagen cannot enter your skin's so creams have always been a big no no.Bovine or marine.
    You are so far away.
Can you recommend any specials doctor as yourself over here, or in Spain. I feel really sad when I pass a mirror as I'm still 37 in my heart.❤

If you keep your high school weight, eat right and exercise you will keep your youth. I went to my 40th HS reunion and the ones that gained weight were unrecognizable and looked much older. Those who stayed fit looked the same but with some expected wrinkles but nothing like those who let themselves go. Even if you gained weight and lost it, you have done the damage. I know, because I was doing fine until menopause (and Hashimotos) and then I gained 15 lbs. even after losing it I never regained my pre weight gain look 😢 If you are young you can rebound better, but my advice to the young, at all costs keep your weight level.

What’s the best way to care for the skin on the entire body? Best sunscreen, lotion, if any, soap…the things we all use every day, year after year, decade after decade. I’m 71 😬 can’t exactly backpedal but can make smart purchases that’ll make me feel better about the products I use. I use collagen/protein supplements daily, eat right most of the time and exercise with the goal of getting stronger with resistant training. I’m not ready to give up on the fight against aging.

It's wonderful to hear that you're committed to taking care of your skin and overall health! As you continue on your skincare journey, here are some tips and recommendations to help you make smart choices:
Cleansing: Opt for a gentle, hydrating body wash or soap that doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils. Look for products that are free from harsh chemicals and fragrances.
Exfoliation: Regular exfoliation can help remove dead skin cells and promote a smoother texture. Consider using a gentle body scrub or exfoliating mitt a few times a week.
Moisturizing: Apply a hydrating body lotion or cream daily to keep your skin moisturized and prevent dryness. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and ceramides.
Sun Protection: Sunscreen isn't just for the face! Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to exposed areas of your body, especially when spending time outdoors. Reapply every two hours.
Antioxidants: Consider using body products that contain antioxidants like vitamin C and E. These can help protect your skin from free radicals and environmental damage.
Collagen Supplements: Continue with your collagen/protein supplements, as they can contribute to skin health. Make sure you're also getting a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids.
Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.
Lifestyle Factors: You're already focusing on exercise and nutrition, which is fantastic. Adequate sleep, stress management, and staying active all play a role in skin health too.
Consult a Professional: If you're considering more targeted treatments, like body-focused skincare products or procedures, it's a good idea to consult a dermatologist or skincare professional. They can provide personalized recommendations based on your specific needs and goals.

I was taking bovine collagen for about three years, with no noticeable effect. Then I found a particular marine collagen that healed my bones and connective tissues. I didn't know about types, back then. Now I know, after trying other marine collagens with no effect, that this particular brand is special because it has collagen types 1&2. Type 2 is what helps reduce my arthritis and connective tissue pain. I can now stand and walk all day, can walk without too much back and hip pain. I can use my hands. On the few times I've experimented with other brands of collagen that don't have the same proportions, my pain all comes back. I will never willingly be without it again. It probably helps my skin, too.

You have to take it for about 6 weeks before you begin to realize that you don't hurt as much. In other words, if you want to get some, order at least 2 containers because it takes time for the type 2 collagen to do its repair work, and so it'll take at least a month for you to notice results.

Nooooo, please go back to a vegan diet for the best anti aging diet. It’s actually what keeps you looking younger as you age at a much slower rate than having animal foods in your diet. Please don’t just base your knowledge off of a plastic surgeon, as much as I love him, this is one area he doesn’t know the whole picture because he doesn’t specialize in epigenetics. Check out the world’s leading longevity expert and Harvard researcher Dr David Sinclair. He breaks down why a plant based diet is best for slowing the rates of aging. I’m 35 and still get id’d for being under 18. It’s 100% because of my plant based diet. I look younger than everyone and I love it, but it’s not a coincidence. There’s actually studies to back up why this is. Please check out his book life span or one of the many podcasts out there that have interviewed him.
