Same here!! My acne went away real fast! I still eat cheese and butter occasionally, but just switching my daily coffee creamer for oat milk creamer really helped my skin
I've been to a nutritionist some years ago, and in my diet I had no dairy products of any sort. However he warned me that if I wanted to be able to have milk and cheese in the future I should pop in a glass of milk now and then, or I could potentially develop an intolerance over time. I did that religiously, as I don't intend to cut out dairy any time soon and I was so scared of not being able to eat it any more 😂 Although I would need a very severe intolerance to decide to cut out milk from my diet. I don't care, give me acne and whatever, I'm not gonna give up on cheese. Especially mozzarella oh my god, my life would be so sad without mozzarella...
I’ve been wondering why I was having breakouts recently. Because of this video, I realized that it was definitely the excess sugar I’ve been consuming lately. Thanks, Dr. Youn.
Hi Dr. Youn! Always love your videos. Great tips, with many healthy choices! I have a very firm routine: breakfast = fresh orange juice, oatmeal porridge with honey, multivitamin and garlic pills. Then a lunch with steamed vegetables (carrot, string beans, ..) and sandwiches or rice with lean meat (chicken/turkey breast). Fruits bowl (apple, pear, melon, kiwi) around 4pm. Then vegetarian dinner of a vegetable soup and then rice and fish - usually casseroled. Finishing with a skimmed milk yoghurt. I have 3 rules on top of this schedule: no fried foods, no snacks, and as previously mentioned: vegetarian dinner. Lost 10kg in 1 year, feel great, lost my decades-old acne (with some help of a prescription grade retinoid cream) and have the best skin in my life at age 38.
What about goat and sheep milk (provided the animals have been fed their natural diet and not grains) ? They do not contain A1 beta-casein (whose metabolite, beta-casomorphin-7, is pro-inflammatory) but A2 beta-casein which has not been shown to promote inflammatory processes. And sheep milk in particular contains half as much IGF-1 as cow's milk.
I watched Cells At Work: Code Black and saw the episode where the O2 blew up the cells the RBC was delivering to. 😮 I ended up doing a deep dive on ebscohost to learn all I could about ROS. I know our bodies have a pretty tight homeostasis and balance ROS but I still like the “eat the rainbow” idea to thwart any free radical oxidative materials that go unchecked.
I used to be interested in Dr Youn advice however after certain recommendations you lost me there. I’m not a health care professional and I’m just reading food safety and health related meta analyses + some lectures from MIT and other reputable sources, so if I can identify GMO demonization here and other misinformation, I think a medical professional can do to. Dr Youn, you influence people’s minds and the responsibility comes with it. Please make sure you do not spread misinformation we have plenty of it already
Most places in the world use goats milk. It's closer to human milk. What has been found to be a 'perfect match' is donkey milk. The lactose and calcium is way higher than humans need in cows. Edit: I say this as someone who is lactose intolerant. I can drink goats milk very very little cow's milk before it makes me sick. I grew up on a goat farm when we had too much milk I would drink a quart of milk I was fine. (I like my milk I did research into lactose intolerant that's when started drinking only goat milk and in research saw normally goat milk is fine milk that very closely matched human milk was donkey milk).
Hey hey Dr. A! ❤ Ok, to your personal knowledge, is there any connection with collagen ravaging cancer cells? I've just heard this from another you tuber & i don't know if i should believe or dismiss. 😮 Lovin' your sense of humor!
The cow milk is not for us to consume. We can have plant based products instead. Those also give same level of nutrients. Sometimes even more than that. The milk will be best to consume if it is fermented one.
As a kid I never liked bread and sweets and especially processed foods. My parents would make salads soups and everything from good ingredients and I feel many people just got used to a certain taste that they don’t appreciate how good real food can feel. For me broccoli is one of my fav foods and people in the US can’t stand it :))
Not true. Only some people had problems with diary. Asian usualy do since most do not have enzymes to digest it. Most Europeans like me do not. I eat diary every day. No problem with my skin nor affects my weight.
I Didn't Liked The Dairy Part . Its Not Like What Dr.Youn Said Is Wrong But If We Consider Asia Like India Where I Live Milk Is Like The Energy Drink For Many People . Their Day Does Not Start Without Tea Made Up Of Milk . Now Dairy Means Cottage Cheese Also But If We Consider Cottage Cheese If Consumed In A Good Amount If Provide A Great Amout Of Protein And Best Alternative To Meat For Vegetarians. So They May Contribute To Ageing But I Think They Are Can Be Off This List Considering Dairy Products Benefits Over Ageing Because Comeon Everyone Is Ageing Every Second. And Talking About Lactose Intolerance That Is Because Of A1 B-Casein In Milk And A-1 B-Casein Free Milk Is Also Available In Market.
My skin improved so much when I cut out diary!

A clean diet, less stress, genetics, and avoiding anything white/ refined/ processed plays a major role in skin.... 🧬 Genetics 🧬🧬🧬🧬🧬✨
Could you do a video like this about hair please?

Do you work for Bayer/Monsanto? 😂
Amen, Dr. Youn! I NEVER consume dairy! Been like that for at least a decade. My mid-40’s skin looks more mid-20’s. 😊
Thank you for good health info.❤
I downloaded the book.
It's great, thank you!
Thank you for your great info, what kind of sugar mean? How about fruit ?
Nice, Dr. Youn! Very informative and makes a lot of sense.

I don't know if i could stop eating white rice.

Is drinking tea made with milk , is also counted as a dairy product
You should eat a lot of vitamin D, wear sun block, and stay indoors, and exercise.
Youthful skin is not something you achieve with food alone.
Yogurt is also a fermented food but also a dairy product so is this good or bad?
watching this while I'm eating nutella out the jar
Thanks for the teaching. how can i get the book ( hoe to eat healthy food)
Dr. Youn what fermented foods can i eat because i have GERD?
hay una version de sus videos en español???
But fructose in fruits is basically sugar
Collagen supplements bloat me. I have tried different brands and all do the same to me. So instead I'm taking amino acids.
What about goat milk?

If you are mixing tea with milk there is no value of tea then. Because milk protein gets bound to tea molecules which are essential for your body.
Dairy products are good only if they are fermented like cheese and curd
Other proteins are better for vegetarians than dairy, things like beans for example.
1 billion Asians that love dairy living in India
Same in Africa. Everyone drinks milk
He’s selling something now.
