    A tip for parchment paper use in pans with high edges; Crumple the parchment into a tight ball first then flatten it out and put it in the pan. It really helps!

      @easystreetwithjen Год назад +12

      I like to spray my pans, too, so the parchment stays in place. Water or oil works. It doesn't take much.

      Yes rolling paper into a ball and then spreading it in the pan works easier

    I have only ever had a gas over 40 years. I don't know if your recipe say when you are using a dark Pan or glass lower your temperature on your oven 25 degrees. It makes a big difference. And in fact when we bake cakes we do them at 325. We have a family member that Is a cake decorator and that was a tip she gave us. Wilder's wink so cute as! You have amazing helpers. Bri The wisdom you give along as you are doing your projects regarding children and knowing when to stop thank you for sharing that wisdom and insight. I can tell you as mama only had 4 but I wouldn't have a lot of bonus children here and sadly I made the mistake of pushing through when I was so tired beyond. Lord we ask that when Bri Lays down at night that you give her double dose of rest and sleep and strength and the time that she is sleeping so she's equipped for the days ahead. And hugs from Minnesota

    1. If you moisten the paper, crunch it up and then put it in the pan it stays put.
    2. Put foil over it for the first 2/3rds of the cooking it will cook faster on the inside without burning it.
    Bless your heart, sweety. Things will move so much faster as they get older.

    So great to have been watching you bake with all your little "spoon lickers", winking charmers, and big helpers! Thankyou for inviting us all into your beautiful kitchen, and inspiring us to bake with our kids! I had my little nieces over the other day, and my house was full with those 2 and four of our 6 kids. The littles helped me bake chocolate chip pumkin muffins and it was a ton of fun! In dutch we have a saying, "Jong geleerd, oud gedaan", which basically means whatever you've learned at a young age, you can do as an adult no problem;-) In the busy days of having children, you are setting them up to be independant and how to care for themselves!!

I paused at 21:15 of video to tell you this because I don't have kids but your reflection on need to pause and reflect is very relevant to my situation and I want to thank you for bringing this awareness to me. As for licking spoons YES even Bowls... everyone in my family as I grew up took turns licking spoons and using our index finger to clean out the bowl too. A tradition I continue as an adult.... it's best part of baking/cooking LOL. Oh and OMG talk about orange lover - one of the twins !!!!! OMG!!!!!! love it. I'm so glad you didn't give up on the channel. Love from Canadian east coast.

I watch these to learn new things to make, better ways to do things, try new seasonings. I usually only use salt, pepper, garlic, oregano. I'm not a fan of new to me seasonings, but I'm learning to try to like new things. The other day I made French toast waffles, they are exactly what you think they are. French toast cooked in a waffle maker. lol Thank you for sharing your food ideas. Until next time much love to you and your family. I also take a break/redirect myself when I get overwhelmed.
