Bri, your grief at your homestead was heartbreaking. I'm sorry you and your family are going through this chapter of loss. You are all in my prayers. May God bless you with comfort, peace, and His strength. Take all the time you need. ❤
Can you please catch me up on why they had to leave homestead. I went back and I can't find it I must have missed it I'm not looking in the right place. The comment section on the video where she went back is closed . I would have started there.
Your countenance, attitude, and gratitude for the life the Lord has given you is inspiring! Your calm spirit and the way you lovingly teach your children is a great example. Thank you for being real about the hardships of being a single parent, and the joys of raising them. I'm still in awe of the provisions the Lord has given you through your brother and friends! Keep sharing your life, through the joys and pains!
Your family is beautiful. I absolutely love the way you allow your children to be children. Your heart shows through your parenting. I’m a grandma of 25. I know kids. Lol
Oh wow! This video had me smiling all the way through! Lulu planting the radishes, Brighton’s joy in the garden and the harvest, Royal trying the salad all on his own, Joyful thinning her carrots, Grace’s sweet smile and Wilder helping with the cattle panel. And I can’t forget Justice, his sly smile trying the salad. Your kids are such treasures! And the best part is that you have made them so, your sweet, gentle and wise ways with them make my heart swell. Thanks so much for bringing us on your journey, this video made my day. I also appreciate so much your mental health wisdom. It can take a lifetime to learn these things, but here you are, so young, and you already know how to nurture yourself. Bravo!
That made me cry!!! It’s hard being a single mom of toddlers. But I am so proud of the adults my kids became!!!! Bri, you are doing an awesome job & we are praying for you. Blessings, debby
I absolutely love that you let your children go barefooted! Your garden is beautiful Bri, you're an amazing Momma and person! Sending big hugs. You're truly an inspiration!
I agree!! Some of my best memories as a kid involve running around barefoot, free to get dirty and be a kid! And you can bet I allowed my kids, and now grandkids, the same freedom. ❤🙏🏻🇺🇸
My husband, an Arborist of 45 years said, Do Not Cut the Leaves Off. There is not enough stored energy in the roots and you will hurt rather than help the tree.
Yes!!!!!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Rejoicing with you today! 🎉🎉🎉 You are so loved, precious daughter of a King! He wants to lavish you with goodness and JOY❤❤❤
I am so proud of you and what you accomplish. Life can be hard at time, I have been fighting breast cancer since 2016, and at time I feel like giving up, but my faith in the Lord and the strength I get from my children and grandchildren have helped me. I also get strength from channels like yours when people are going through trials and their faith keeps them going. I have watched your channel for years and even though I don’t comment much, I have laughed with you and cried with you, and I love watching you to continue to grow. Your children are gentle souls, and I love watching them grow. Bri you are a fantastic mom. God is with you every step you take.
They say that tears are a cleansing and also the greatest blessings from God are your children, your new beautiful home and your GARDEN!!! Busy hands busy mind...just keep thinking that "I am Blessed in all ways" and thank you God. You are one strong woman for sure. Sending many many more Blessings to you all. God Bless.
BRI, YOU'VE BEEN GETTING EXCITED ABOUT YOUR GARDEN FOR YEARS!! I REMEMBER THE JOY IT ALWAYS GIVES YOU. PUTS A BIG BIG SMILE ON MY FACE. MORE THIS YEAR THAN EVER GOD BLESSES YOU. NURSE JUDI IN SCOTTSDALE
I love how you take the time to explain everything to the kids, they are learning all the time. Letting the babies be "free range" warms my heart, you are doing amazing.
You have done so much in a short amount of time.. Everything is looking so good. You are a great mom and survivor !!! your children are so lucky to have you ..💕 BLESS YOU !!
The fun thing about gardening is planting vegetables in the yard, playing with the children, cooking the family's favorite vegetables, extraordinary, Mother's spirit.
Bri, just know that we all share your triumphs, joys, and sorrows too. Your vlog is a wholesome vibe and I hate when it's time for you to go. Sandi Brock has the same effect on me as she's just such a strong woman with marvellous capabilities and wisdom.
Hi Bri, I totally relate to the feeling of not wanting to do anything. I love how honest you are and how you don’t give in. I also know how hard it is to do things by yourself when you aren’t used to it. My prayer is that you feel empowered by your independence. Sending you light from Swannanoa 💕
I just recently found your channel and I am loving it! I call my garden work “dirt therapy” and very often work barefoot in the garden. It is so good for the soul!
The only tree you haven't planted without Arthur - yeah, I felt that. God bless you Bri and everyone else. I'm glad you have a bit of a resource of online commenters for the garden. Not me, I'm no green thumb, though I may not be considered a garden virgin! But I see lots of pretty expert sounding stuff here. All the best from Alberta!
Oh hon, hang in there. Put one foot in front of the other. Talk to God and listen. You are a blessing and I am very glad you were born! Do not loose hope. Joy comes in the morning. You are an inspiration, teaching others to move on in the face of adversity. I’m proud of you! Thank you for not giving up. Peace and strength to you until your memories bring only joy.
Your garden looks amazing! We worked in our raised bed garden today planting green beans, radishes and green onions. Cleaned out the goat and sheep pens and turned the compost. Can’t wait till we can harvest our lettuce and greens. Love watching your kiddos in the garden.
What an awesome mother you are! What an example, you are beautiful, strong, and smart. What an excellent role model for other women. May the Goddess & God within bless you with peace, joy, happiness, and abundance beyond your wildest dreams.
Hi Bri, the garden looks great. Love that you all do it as a family. FYI the website you talked about for the fiber glass supports does still have them. If you look up “row cover supports” in their search tab you will find them. Hope that’s helpful.
It's amazing how fast kids learn stuff....I was cracking up watching your precious daughter run down n plant that stuff n ur son getting the dew off the plants🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️ Look forward to your gideo....your a great mom n your kids are AMAZING❤️
The garden looks great! I love how you slipped that learning moment so naturally into your conversation about dew, as a former homeschool mom I really appreciate that.
Bri, little FIG TREE INFO! I’m in south Italy and have fig trees and they get huge. Plus for your garden, it’s important plant away from any area where your foods/veggies grow, because there will eventually be tons of fruit that drops like crazy and it makes a really sticky mess underneath cos there is no way you can pick them all! They also have runner roots 🙈when they get big! You’re doing a great job Bri! The garden is looking incredible and, most beautiful if all, is that you and the children look so happy outside too!
U are an awesome person! Down to earth very loving and cares alot about family! I think this is the way every person in the world should be!! Love watching your family grow keep up your sprit. God bless u and your family family!
Sometimes hugs and lots of time with our kids is the only thing that holds us together when life's stress is overwhelming. Much love goes out to you. And that garden...BEAUTIFUL! ❤
Bri, I just have to tell you how delicious the young tender Broccoli Leaves are. We planted our first batch 5 years ago and it seems that every seed grew. I found that the little hens loved the leaves so after about two weeks I thinned the bed and had so many that I walked down to a neighbors house as she also has 4 little hens. I offered her to the bunch of leaves and she was thrilled as her mother grew broccoli and in the Spring would pick the lower leaves, was them and saute' them with onions. We love them with bacon bites also. Blessings to you and the Darlins from South Louisiana.
What a lovely gift you’ve been given from God, the love of family and the garden. You take advantage of the teachable moment without hesitating and informing viewers at the same time. You have trials but today accomplished much even though you felt the desire not to. The change in your attitude was amazing just being in the garden with your children, you participated in life, real life, well lived.
Bri, I can feel the pain in your heart, and I want you to know I am praying for you! You are so right in getting outside. Most adults are low on vitamin D, and we get that free from the sun. Low vitamin D can bring on sadness or discouragement, or depression, so go out as much as you can. Your garden is looking fabulous! There is nothing like it! Your greenhouse looks awesome! You are such a good momma. You have some very precious children, as I am sure you already know. Your doing g great Bri, keep putting on that smile! I see more and more it's a part of your true character. God Bless you and yours!
I love how you explain in full what dew and bolting is to your kids! That made me smile. Also, the fact that you say, "You're grown up. You're almost 5." Love it. Hard working helpers learning so much. It is also so nice that you let them plant their own sections of food. Very nice. You're doing a great job.
Hello Bri and family! I have just recently met you as I viewed Apology Update, You are very brave and strong. What a wonderful support system you have and I am impressed with your children, how they know they have to step in and help. I loved watching them take care of the twins, so sweet. Truly a beautiful family. I am sorry for Arthur, I watched some of the older videos and could see a very gentle loving daddy. Prayers for a healing for Arthur and all good things for you and your children.
Me struggling with 6 kids and doing everything, nobody cares lol. Amazing what 1/4 million followers and other RUclipsrs do for you. You could call me an inspiration but i dunno, maybe i'm just a fool.
I feel your urge to plant, Bri! Somehow I scheduled my cataract surgeries right in the thick of planting season. Between surgeries and before new glasses, my vision doesn't line up and my balance isn't good. Gardening is limited to what I can do sitting on a stepstool. Lord, help my impatience! So happy for your garden success, Bri!
You and your family put a smile on my face!!! You go girl as you face another day and overcome whatever needs to be overcome!!! Thats how we do it and I see you are handling it so good!!! God bless you on your journey!!!
I agree about the funk. There are times as a single parent that my children were the motivators for me pushing forward. They never knew that but it helped having the responsibility.
Bri, your garden is stunning and gorgeous! It's shocking how fast those lovely plants have grown. Amazing! You will enjoy it so much all year. And to see your children out there with you, soaking up YOUR love for gardening into them, and learning so much ... that's beautiful. I'm so glad you have this garden to be a balm to your heart. I understand about the need to stay busy with responsibilities, in order not to succumb to an inactive depression. Having small children to care for really helps that. It's HARD, but it's so helpful. God bless you.
The garden looks amazing and the new house is screaming filled with love! You're doing great! My heart felt the pain when you visited the ole homestead the other day! You could see and hear how much it hurts you! Big hugs and plenty of high fives!
Good afternoon sweetheart 🙏😃 you're a strong woman and a great mom, figs trees are really easy to grow and you did a great job, have a blessed weekend love and hugs for everyone
The fig tree made it alive, YEA!!! It looks great. When I watched the farm video I was amazed at how I sent it right before the farm video came out. Don't you just love how that worked out?! As if it was a little love worked out from above. I know that the butterfly weed is your favorite because you said it in one of your videos from your 1st year youtubeing. I am finally buying seeds that are native to my area this year. I love figs got my 1st tree from my best friend last year. Sunflowers are my favorite flower. We rent our home so everything I have is in free plastic pots because I don't want to lose anything when we eventually find our forever home. Your friends at LandTreAir farm made a fence out of cattle panels in one of their 1st videos, I statrted watching them at your recommendation from their 1st video. A cattle panel fence is a brilliant idea! You can create an extra bed around your garden, along the cattle pannel walls & grow things that need to be trellesed up the walls. Pumkins, loofah, butternut squash, 🍅, etc., etc., etc. 💙 the shirt :-)
Bri, I am so thrilled for you. It is hard but you have a giant BEAUTIFUL house, a giant BEAUTIFUL yard and you are all protected and helped by such good family and friends! We are praying for you and JOY and success is all that is in your future sweetheart!!!
You did everything perfectly for the fig tree! Leave the leaves, but if it starts to flower, pull the blossoms. You want to wait until its ~3 years old before letting it grow fruit.
I'm a counselor and I always tell people to go outside (and garden if they can). I dont even really garden!!! But it is so good for our souls...look at your face!!
I'm new to your channel and really enjoy watching your beautiful children. I'm so sorry your going through this trial, but you are really a strong woman and I will pray that you find happiness and remember you have your health, healthy children and a beautiful new home. The rest will fall into place. (((hugs)))
I LOVE my mornings with you and the kids! This was just delightful. May I be the first to say…I don’t worry a bit about your children and their safety….not because I don’t care because I do. It’s because I’ve only once before seen such a beautifully caring and intelligent group of children and that was our daughters group of homeschooled children! Bri, you are doing a remarkable job on every side. I can tell you parent a great deal by ❤instinct and deep love and you are spot on!! Love and blessings sent to all of you. The babies eating the salad was priceless!! Look what you can do when you provide the means and let children figure it out! 💖💖🤗🤗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You have such great friends who love you and want you in the community you're been very blessed Bre put mulch around it but not up to it it helps store water
The way you feel in your garden is the way I feel when making art in my studio. Unfortunately I’ve been too ill to do it for 2 1/2 years… I wanna paint something 😩😂
I have a 30 year old fig tree. My neighbour always tells me I need to prune it for more fruit but I can’t bring myself to do it. It is a beautiful tree. More fruit would be nice but I just adore the look of the branches and leaves.
Bri, you have so many friends and people who love and admire you why would you ever let yourself go into a funk. You are so awesome don't forget that.❤❤❤❤
I don’t really ever get down like about who I am. I get overwhelmed though by all that is on my shoulders. I think that’s pretty normal and healthy. I also think that being able to walk outside and pretty much instantly feel better is telling that it is more of a physical overwhelm than a truly paralyzing anxiety.
She is 13. She helps plenty, but I also have healthy limits on how much responsibility my kids carry.A little anxiety over the pressures of life is normal.
You did it just right, Bri. Think of the Fig as any other plant. In Spring, you wouldn't take the leaves off any other plant, so I wouldn't take them off the fig. Happy gardening!
I still use the salad spinner in the garden to collect our salad that you showed in a video years ago. Fantastic idea. Thank you darling , your garden is looking stunning . Congratulations on a harvest and your first fruit tree in your soil. Thank you for sharing lovely ❤
Thank you for sharing how your feel/felt, and how you hoped to change those feelings-and it worked! Lovely life lesson. I’m a writer and some days…. It’s hard. I have six tea mugs-they all have a message. I choose which message I need for that day, as I head into my “library” to work. Some days it’s “For it to work, you have to work”. Some days it’s “I’d rather be in bed”. There’s the “We’re stronger than we feel”, and there’s the “Don’t grow up-it’s a trap”. And of course-the ever popular-“You’re my cup of tea”, and Enjoy the little things”. They all have their place, and my tea cup choice ritual makes me smile and stay the course. Have a wonderful day with your family.
It is so exciting. Every year I fill my greenhouse with starts from seed. After I plant my garden I post on my neighborhood site free plants. It gives me so much happiness to give to others. Once all my plants bare fruit I can and freeze and share with all my neighbors It is such a treat for them they do not have gardens and have children it is nice to share. Pay it forward is my motto. ❤
Those little ones are strong. Wow! Bri you are trying to be both mother and father to those kids and you are allowed to have days that you get so overwhelmed. Its not easy, you do so much.God Bless you and your amazing family.
Listen to eeleb!! He knows! God is watching over you. Jesus walks beside you! Bless you Bree. Many prayers 🙏🏻 for you 🙏🏻 & the family. Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bri, your grief at your homestead was heartbreaking. I'm sorry you and your family are going through this chapter of loss. You are all in my prayers. May God bless you with comfort, peace, and His strength. Take all the time you need. ❤
I know ... I wanted to share a big virtual hug. So tender. So heart breaking.

Ive been watching this family since the beginning. I really enjoy watching them babies grow. And the great videos mama puts out. 🌻
The burdens will drag you down. But when you love others(your kids) more than yourself they are not burdens. The kids will bless you so much.
Leave the “Leaves”. Just like you with your children they will help the tree to grow strong.
I absolutely love that you let your children go barefooted! Your garden is beautiful Bri, you're an amazing Momma and person! Sending big hugs. You're truly an inspiration!

My husband, an Arborist of 45 years said, Do Not Cut the Leaves Off. There is not enough stored energy in the roots and you will hurt rather than help the tree.
Good to know.
I would add if deer will eat the leaves I would use a hoop and cover it for protection
You and your family are a breath of fresh air.
Which leaves? I'm reading this 3w later. The greens? Or...?

Ohhhh my gosh I can't believe your garden!! You have certainly been given a gift and a green thumb!!❤🥕🥔🥦🥬🥒🍅🫑🧅
I’m so proud of you, Bri!!! it makes my heart happy to watch your videos. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Good afternoon sweetheart 🙏😃 you're a strong woman and a great mom, figs trees are really easy to grow and you did a great job, have a blessed weekend love and hugs for everyone
YAY your first Fruit Tree xxxx Cheers Denise- Australia- YOU ARE AMAZING BRI 🥰🥰🥰
Your two oldest daughters are really beauties
The joy in your heart for this garden is inspirational!
Such a joy to watch, the wonders of natures rain and you are now harvesting,Praise Lord,🙏❤️
Your garden is doing great!!! I love how much the kids help. Your doing a awesome job Bri.
(((hugs)))
Your garden is so beautiful ❤️ Much love and God bless you and your family ✝️
I have so much anxiety with my special needs daughter praying for you Bri
Hi..... Bri nice to see you love watching your videos homestead Beautiful good job 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
Your garden has been blessed.
You have such great friends who love you and want you in the community you're been very blessed
Bre put mulch around it but not up to it it helps store water
The way you feel in your garden is the way I feel when making art in my studio. Unfortunately I’ve been too ill to do it for 2 1/2 years… I wanna paint something 😩😂
AMEN BRI!!!!!!! GOD HAS A PLAN FOR US AND WE NEED TO KEEP THE FAITH!!! YOU ARE A GREAT MOM, AND BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!🙏❤️
I have a 30 year old fig tree. My neighbour always tells me I need to prune it for more fruit but I can’t bring myself to do it. It is a beautiful tree. More fruit would be nice but I just adore the look of the branches and leaves.
Bri you and your children and friends are amazing!!!!!I loved that the baby wanted to plant her plant lol
Living with you of course not actually but seeing your truths we all struggle and I am thankful that the lord is always with us
you are so sweet, the garden looks great. praise the lord for your blessings.
@@Brifromscratch --Keep up all the good work Bri. How old is your oldest daughter, can she do a little more to help?
She is 13. She helps plenty, but I also have healthy limits on how much responsibility my kids carry.A little anxiety over the pressures of life is normal.
God bless you and the children
You did it just right, Bri. Think of the Fig as any other plant. In Spring, you wouldn't take the leaves off any other plant, so I wouldn't take them off the fig. Happy gardening!
Awww that was adorable when Lu Lu planted it 😂 I knew she was gonna do that!
Thanks
💚👩🏼🌾💚
I bought a 250' roll of #9 wire, cut it into 72" pieces and it worked great👍
Those little ones are strong. Wow! Bri you are trying to be both mother and father to those kids and you are allowed to have days that you get so overwhelmed. Its not easy, you do so much.God Bless you and your amazing family.
So impressed with your garden, the Family excitement and your boldness! Blessings to you all!!!
We made our garden fence out of cattle panels. It was super easy to put together and looks great. Highly recommend.
