I share my tips for organizing without getting overwhelmed, how to take breaks, and letting the little things go so you can have joy and peace while getting projects done.

You accomplished so much in that short time. What an amazing fun response the children had when they seen it. The room just brightened up from all the joy you gave your sweet babies. I remember cleaning up so many times a day because clutter bothered me so much. Then I realized that I was over reacting and stressing for nothing. So I cleaned once a day at the end of the day so I stressed less and we all appreciated life so much more. When the kids got a bit older, they could clean with me. After that, kids could clean it up.The messes got smaller somehow when they started cleaning up after themselves. Love you Bri and your sweet kids. Bless you all.

I had "folding" overstuffed chairs like your "couch" in the playroom for my kids 40 years ago. They could lay it flat, turn it sideways for blocking walls or put it into the overstuffed chair shape. They loved them in the playroom. Then I had the girls horse stables, the boys farm barn & tractors & plows. Then another rug area that was the construction equipment area with backhoes, dumptrucks. Lincoln logs, and such. Then then next rug area was a mini kitchen and baby dolls and the child size table & chairs. So I understand the way some of your organization method works.

I loved seeing the kid’s reaction and how quickly they built their fort. Your twins will soon realize they can pile up the cushions and climb to reach things on the higher shelves. Please don’t postpone securing the bookcases to the wall. I know a family that tragically lost their two year old when he tried to climb a dresser. I don’t like posting “doom and gloom” type things but you’re only one person with so much on your plate and can’t think of everything. I pray all your dreams come true in your new, beautiful home. 🙏🏻❤️

@@charlacharlie6222 I do have that IKEA shelf, or the old version of it, and it's never been screwed to the wall. I'm happy to report that it's still standing and has never budged, not even when my little brother climbed up on it when he was a toddler (he's 21 now), which he loved to do to get the DVDs down. I did however put the heavy stuff on the bottom shelves and the lighter stuff, like DVDs, on top. Dressers are more dangerous I think because they pull the drawers out and then climb into them and then the dresser falls forward because of the wrong weight distribution. I wouldn't trust one of those Billy book shelves either because it's tall and not as wide, so it's not as sturdy. But this one doesn't really budge because of its size and weight.

Toddlers, especially twins, are little research scientists. They are into everything as if they are working on their own doctorate & have to get it finished in 3 months. They feed off of each other with new experiences & learn from each other, too! At least it was with my twin sons. When they were babies the youngest would always reach out to touch his brother when sleeping in a divided crib. He would go under the cloth divider with his arm & find bubba's arm before he could go to sleep. Twins are a handful, but so rewarding, too. Thank you for sharing your journey. Praying for you & your family. With Jesus you can do anything! You are a survivor!

If your little ones like to climb, you don't want the bookcase falling on them when they climb the shelves. So please spend the $10 or so that it will cost to buy wall fasteners for security of mind. Be sure to get them for all bookcases and tall, free-standing chests of drawers in your house.

Good job Bri. As I watched your video I thought how I’m so glad that part of my life is over. The kid messes. Toys everywhere. Noise etc. I use to be a stay at home Mom/ homemaker. Had huge houses. I now live in a 375 sq ft apt alone with my cat. Lol I am very thankful for what I had but it’s a different season for me now. You sure have a huge responsibility now. Thankfully women are made to be strong. Through all this always remember to take care of yourself:) The twins sure look like Arthur. Miss him being in the videos. And your little farm. Life sure can be rough. 🥲 Thankfully God gives us beauty for ashes. Take care 💐

FYI. A large bungee cord from piano leg infront & across the the bench; will let you give big kid’s access to the piano but keep babies safe when a big kid isn’t using.

My heart melted seeing the tunnels and forts in the garage :) The kids have a great sense of humour which is a joy to see. The rug is so fun. And yes the couch is awesome. Loved this big hug

Please let your brother know how much I, as a subscriber, thank him for his amazing gift of a home for you and your children. His gift has changed many lives for the better.
First of all, your face is beaming! This home has been like a transfusion for you and your children.
Next, I am thrilled to see new videos posted because I follow this channel for a reason...to be uplifted and learn how to live simply and enjoy life. I missed seeing them.
Finally, I can't help but think your uplifting/starting-over videos, which are very well organized and presented BTW, are inspiring those facing daunting challenges. Your home schooling techniques are enviable, and I feel like one of your Simple Living students.
Thank you for sharing with us.

Love watching you organise...it SOMETIMES inspires me to do some of my own 😉 the children having so much fun is the thing that makes me laugh and just watching you and your family settle, grow and love each other is the thing that gives me the most joy.
Thank you Bri for letting us into your beautiful home and sharing some of the.journey forward. Blessings for you all.

You may not know it, but you are a real traiblazer- showing that you can survive and thrive as a single woman with a large family. I thank God that he has held you through dark times and is blessing you with your example to others regarding leaning on him.
