*Hunts that are difficult enough to actually lose at! I'm into it!* -BoomstickAlex
How hard is this game to get into as a causal player ?
Look like a bit much with all the talents and stuff we can do..
thanks kindly.
Thank you for the video! And I love your content!
Love the video as always brother . Love the mechanics and the overall feel of the combat so far it just runs so bad on pc as of right now 🤦🏽♂️
Thanks bro, this looks good.
Thank you so much for this video I just pre ordered this game and I have never played monster hunter!!! I just need a good boss fighting game !!! Longtime subscriber!!! Love your videos Mr Alex !!!
thank you for this
When the Hunter clung onto the monster, I immediately thought of Dragon's Dogma.
Boomstick your always awesome brother
Looks great
Love it! Really enjoyed the trial and can't wait for it to release so I can get back to it.
Your videos are always great
ty!
Sick video!
hey thanks!
You say the katana can extend???
*Abarai Renji has entered the chat*
About to start the 10 hour trial right now on gamepass. I’m a big MH fan and I’m playing that on gamepass currently as well…..looks like I got lots of work to do lol
great vid, are u playing at 1080 in the video or the 4k/30fps?? i mean it looks really nice and smooth.
Performance mode on PS5. Whatever that runs at
@@BoomstickGaming This is the way
I had game pass so i tried out that 10 hour trial of it just to see if i did infact want to get it cuz it looked pretty sweet and man it was pretty awesome. i rather enjoyed the building it was pretty fluid to lay stuff in combat and use it i was surprized i found my self using the boxes all the time to jump up lol.
ALSO i think i am a fan of the of the umbrella since i used the shield in monster hunter i gotta block attacks somehow XD
Which bottom is the block on umbrella? Looks a great weapon
@Casshern BR it is the r button oh this is me playing with a controller on pc lol and getting the timing down of the counter is the hardest part of the weapon in my opinion
have you been happy with the performance on ps5? I tried the trial and it was running rly bad, now I'm playing the full version on pc just because its the full game for $15 and it runs terribly... fun game though
Whoa! Where did you find Wild Hearts full game for $15?
@@PurrsPlace EA pro sub on pc only can give you full game
Might just have to check that out
I have it on ps5 and it runs relatively smooth on performance mode
My experience with Wild Hearts in a nutshell. I was hoping for a 6/10 filler game till the next Monster Hunter game comes out. What I got was an 8/10 Hunter game... that if properly supported will light a fire under Capcoms ass. I am very surprised by this game. In all the best ways!
still waiting to buy since i heard the PC port is unoptimized at the point, they said patch is coming but i'll just wait to be sure
To be fair all the versions being played atm are all technically prerelease and may very well be fixed on launch day with a day 1 patch style of thing
@@daviddinges9168 yea hopefully it will fix the performance and camera issues
I originally started on PC and switched over to PS5 because of this. I'm going to go back into the PC version today and see if anything has changed.
@Nyxian agreed, I'm probably still gonna get it on pc since it'll eventually be fixed and mods are definitely a thing. Plus discord imo is a bit better and easier for me with the people I play with that Playstation chat.
@@daviddinges9168 same, as it's the only platform i have.
@Boomstick Gaming Yep good luck
Can you talk about performance? People having problems.
This is the PS5 version. PC has a patch that is being worked on.
Did they not send out review copies before release or is this early access?
I wish it ran like that on PC
This would be 👍 if I had a PS5!!!
Brutha I’m a ps guy as well but I decided to get the series S as a “holdover” while ps5 becomes available in my area and I highly recommend it. It’s serving it’s purpose perfectly
Is this a single player game?
No, you can can coop hunt with 2 other people via joining a randoms session via campfire.
You know the funny thing is a lot of people or hating on it because of EA and saying it's a Fortnite clone with monsters, I feel sorry for y'all 🤣🤣🤣 see ya, gotta play this beauty...
how is the multiplayer like in here?
Incomplete guide just for example when extinguishing weapons, you forgot to include damage level aside from mobility, movement, difficulty etc
Big feature - cross platform play.
Some interesting ideas, but holy cow does that sound like monster hunter with somehow even more busywork and micromanagement.
Monster Hunters busy work used to be similar to this before it became more accessible. I assume they are trying to make the core game play more strategic which opens up opportunities for player skill expression.
@PharCry which I can't wait for. I can wait for the absurdly complicated traps people will lay out and I can't wait to try to make some traps of my own
It's actually less busywork and they simplified a lot of the annoying aspects of MH. These are some of the things I found make it less tedious.
- Eating anytime out of combat. No more sitting down at camp and going through mini-cutscenes.
- Joining other players or requesting help can be pretty much done anywhere without having to go into menus.
- Upgrading weapons or crafting armor anywhere you want just by creating a forge. No more going to town visiting a blacksmith.
- Being able to create a spawn point right next to certain encounters you want to farm.
I could go on but I will not. That's just a few.
Game looks good to be honest, but every video I watch of this game, just makes me miss Monster Hunter so much more and I genuinely want to play the next Monster Hunter that is made for big consoles and PC as soon as possible.
Same. But as an in between this game will be nice. I've gotten tired of the wait between the games at this point and am excited to have something to fill those gaps a bit
Would you say this is Monster Hunter meets Dark Souls?
Dark souls combat was founded on the premise of monster hunter……did you not know this?? There is no “dark souls meets monster hunter”, dark souls is already an offshoot of monster hunters formula
@@mookiestewart3776 I did not actually. I have learned something new
I'd say monster hunter meets nioh is my comparison
I'd say dauntless meets fortnight
Inquiry to all my brothers n sisters:
Why should I stop playing MH rise and play this instead?
Well it looks like this has some Fortnite styled “items” as part of the main fighting gimmick. If that’s your thing then maybe give it a go.
You don't. I know I sure ain't. It'll be nice to have something new to the genre and if it does really well then it'll push monster hunter further to new lengths and vice versa. Healthy competition doesn't mean that monster hunter will die or you should stop, tbh I think it means the opposite and hopefully both will flourish.
You can play both bothers n sisters
If you have fully beaten rise, or want something more challenging than rise.
I LOVE rise, but I didn't fail a single hunt in all of it, and sunbreak.
Wild hearts goes HARD
@@kendrel2099 bro said 'its like fortnite' lol
0/10 no gunlance
Yeah this game definitely isn't easy
Monster Hunter Called. They want their IP back from daycare.
I would rather that they coincide in the genre simply giving us more things to play and pushing both teams to more creative additions.
Although, yes, a monster hunter clone, Wild Hearts is a more challenging game compared to modern monster hunter.
@Boomstick Gaming thank goodness. Honestly since world there haven't been many challenges (iceborne thankfully fixed it a bit with the layer monsters in it but even sunbreak hasn't added that much difficulty)
@@BoomstickGaming Although I agree. Monster Hunter Rise has been releasing harder hunts with it's Risen Elder Dragons, optional quests with harder version of Monsters and higher level afflicted monsters. It just takes time to get to the harder content.
First advice, don't buy it, rtx 3080, Ryzen 5800x, 40 fps with medium setup in 2k, garbage, anthem, again
