    What's Your Favorite Golden Pairing?

    • @FLAMINGPLAYZ1
      @FLAMINGPLAYZ1 3 дня назад +1

      Woah this was 35 seconds ago!!! I think the whole golden pairing thing is interesting. It seems like 2 types with no shared mbti letters except the S or N get along really well. My favorite, maybe ENTP and INFJ, since I am an ENTP myself, I think thats interesting. Also, you should make a video based on what you think certain popular youtuber's types are, and I would also love to see a video showing how each mbti type uses their critical parent function, opposing function, and demon function. You went over blindspot/trickster function already.

      I've seen a couple of shows with an ESFJ x ISTP pairing, I think they work pretty well.

    • @Markbenwisch
      @Markbenwisch 2 дня назад +1

      That might come to the nature of the INFP to live free and seek validation by the only closest ones. But never the less, no matter of how long relationships will last, we always will carry a singular part from each other in us and remind the value of that shared time we had.
      The shorter the time your friendships last, the less you have to recieve, but the more you can give to those who are in need to receive.

    I love watching your videos so much!! I love how instead of focusing on the basics like the creativity of INFPs and the leadership of ENTJ you like to zoom in and focus on small things that are common for both types, like INFPs having an existential crisis from the day they were born and prefering the why of things compared to the ENTJ who focuses on the how! As an INFP, your videos are both humorous, entertaining and educational, and I always learn something from them :D

    This relationship is called the Semi Dual in socionics intertype theory.

  • @erinbarlow6996
    @erinbarlow6996 2 дня назад +3

    As an INFP who has experienced a lot of emotion neglect and trauma from childhood, I've had to accept the hard fact that an ENTJ- INFP will never work for me.
    Not because ENTJs aren't amazing and super inspiring to me, but because naturally, they will never be able to give the kind of emotional TLC I (and many other INFPs) need from a partner - even if they are mature and balanced.
    ENTJs are great people to talk to about theories and ideas, and especially how to implement them, but they just aren't naturally built to give a lot of emotional affirmation or "read the emotional room" on a consistent basis. It would be unfair for me to expect them to use Fi (and Fe) constantly - in the same way it would be unfair for an ENTJ or ESTJ to expect me to use a lot of Te on a regular basis.
    It might work for some, but knowing yourself and understanding your needs is an important factor to determine whether or not this kind of partnership will work out.

      @TrebleKnight  2 дня назад +1

      I agree 100% I'm glad you know what you need. Everyone needs to look at there own circumstance to find who they would be compatible with.

    • @Shale240
      @Shale240 2 дня назад +2

      I love this comment and I agree 100%.
      I'm an ESTJ and I've had relationships with INFPs be very toxic because I'm not empathetic enough for them and they're too illogical for me.
      We actually connected over the fact that we both went through stuff, we just didn't come out of it the same way.
      I don't think I'll ever be able to be warm and affectionate or whatever like people expect me to be, and even if I personally find something about someone annoying, if it's not harming anything other than my feelings, so what? What right do I have to tell anyone else what to? I don't make the law.
      I hate the thought of killing someone's spirit, as un-ESTJ as that may sound to some people, but it kinda hurts to think about the fact that someone may have had so much hope and potential but it got squished because they got involved with the wrong person who cared more about how they felt than how their partner felt.
      Unfortunately, I've been there, I try to let people know where I stand, how I'm not a very affectionate person, how tact is not in my nature, how I'll put myself and my wants first because they chose to be with me, not the other way around.
      I know this is selfish and callous but it's how I am and I'd rather be upfront than attract someone with false hope only to have it implode in their faces.

    For me as ISFP, the ESTJ is everything but golden. I feel pushed around by them. I'd prefer ENTJ, my so called shadow type.
    So for INFPs: Maybe you work and match better with SJ types because of the Si function they have in common. And I could share my Se/Ni with the NJ types.

    • @Shale240
      @Shale240 3 дня назад +1

      I agree with this 100% but from the other side.
      I'm an ESTJ and I can't see myself working with an ISFP because I have an INFP brother, it annoys me how he doesn't just do the stuff he's supposed to do, stuff that would make things easier on everyone, or why he doesn't do things to make up for his short comings, for example, he's very forgetful, but he doesn't want to put in the effort.
      From his perspective, I'm always criticizing him and telling him what to do, but he needs to do them because they're his responsibility.
      I think ISFPs would be even worse than INFPs in terms of us getting along because I regard Ne pretty highly, they don't.
