This is literally the only video I found where someone does permanent colour on the roots + highlights … I have really dark roots naturally and it’s so hard to find a technique online since everyone just does root smudges with semi permanent dye which never lightens my roots so there’s always a contrast between the blonde and my root colour. Thanks for sharing this video and this method. ❤️❤️🙏🏼

There’s lots of videos on RUclips showing you how to do the tape ins yourself. I do my whole head myself and it’s pretty easy, it just takes a while to do.
It’s best to stick the tape onto the part of the hair you want it, press it on, then lift it up. Kind of switching it upside down. Pull the extra hairs out that got stuck to the tape that don’t need to be in the hair sand which. Then put the other tape on top of the first tape, press firmly, then flip all the hair down again and do a straighter press for 2 seconds to bond the glue to the hair :)

So I just did this today with all wella products. My base color is basically the same as hers. I used only demi because I don't like how red my hair is when I use permanent color. The demi works well enough for now until I get more gray lol. So I did a Wella demi root with 6N and 8A. Then Wella bleach baby lights. Then Wella 7n root tap (demi permanent), and a 10A (demi permanent) toner. It turned out great! I am happy with the color.... But I really need to work on my foiling skills.
Also, I need to get my mids and ends lighter in general. I am struggling with what I should do without frying off my long hair. Maybe I'll just keep highlighting and toning the roots and the slightly darker mids and ends will just grow out eventually.

Silvia please answer my question! I'm curious when watching these videos. I know you say not to overlap the bleach on already lightened ends, but it looks like you dont cover the lightener on all of the strands, and it looks like there would be a dark banding halfway down your hair. Why is is that there is not dark color banding? Just curious. I'm not a stylist so I don't know these things. Thanks!

I wondered this too. It looks like she's only slightly modifying the regrowth colour, so the part she's not doing may be already colored enough from the last time she covered regrowth. Also she talks about grey coverage, so perhaps that is also the reason to only cover regrowth rather than over processing previously dyed stands.

I had black box dyed hair and used Schwarzkopf’s color corrector to remove and lift the black. I did my own highlights and used gold chocolate tones to obtain a light chocolate brown color. I actually like warmth for my skin tone. You’re videos really helped me. Only difference is I don’t like toners bc they are semi permanent. Question :
I used to be blonde, 6 months ago I asked my hairdresser for my "natural brunette" color. She didn't dye my hair too dark so I could still deside afterwards (go darker or not). Now my hair is graduate washing out and my mid section and ends are golden, like a ombre. I really need to color soon to refresh.
I have decided to go back to blonde and going to attempt highlight myself, since I'm on a budget😅.
Can I bleach the midsection again to lift evenly? Or only my outgrowth?
    Appreciate any tips❤

Question for all the hairstylists out there… I recently got “caramel” highlights that came out a bit too light and warmer than I would like. They were supposed to end up more of a reddish brown, and it came out more of a golden dark blonde. Can I tone to make it more cool? Or color over it with a cool toned brown? Thanks ❤️

  • @jessicaishere8416
    @jessicaishere8416 3 месяца назад

Best tip for toning on overlapped bleached hair ~ do that section lastly. Then to dilute the toner simply must/spray the ends which makes the toner not as strong as the toner on the top of freshly bleached hair. Idk why y’all stylist that make content don’t stress the importance of that.. cos that’s KEY TO GETTING IMPECCABLE RESULTS

I've had no trouble finding and buying them with a simple google search! I'm not a stylist. It's possible I'm just fortunate that they're available in my location. Still, you might wanna double check :)

Hi, my hair currently is a washed out rose gold with darker rose gold tints to the roots. Before this my hair was platinum blonde so obviously the colour underneath is coming back through. Would all the colours you used work on my hair?
    Thanks, your hair is beautiful

I was wondering why you choose permanent color for your roots instead of a demi. In some of your previous videos you talked about shades EQ colors for roots. What factors can help me determine which is the better option for me? I have been using demi for my roots but I am starting to get greys that peek through pretty quickly. Would that be a reason to change to permanent? Wouldn't that make it harder to turn around and bleach it out right after for highlights? Can I still get bright highlights? Thanks.

Because she has grey hair in her roots. She’s uses a double neutral (6NN) to cover those. The root tap at the end is with a demi to melt the colors all together and make it have a finished blended look.

I want blonde highlights and a wave perm and have been for years but it’s not best to get both and I’d love a type of perm more. I had one before and the past 20 years it’s been boring and straight and I’m love curls but don’t want super spiral, what others are great for loose curls but not real loose
