The blues came from his soul, ran through his veins and exploded from his guitar. A pure bluesman, one of the best of all time. He was a gift to us all.
The restraint this man shows is unreal. The tension he builds and releases is incredible. It’s All about the song for him not about what he can do on the guitar which is nothing short of amazing.

Wow just wow, Gary Moore just that name says blues All on its own such an intelligent blues player sorely missed! when all these legends pass on this is all is left great blues. What a gift. Rn buds in world off eyes closed anddd vibe. ❤🎸❤
I was lucky enough to see him in 2009,probably the loudest (in a good way) gig i've been to! You could not only hear it,but feel every single heart breaking, face melting, glorious note he played.one of the few "famous" people who passing truly hurt me.
We all agree his guitar playing was well beyond phenomenal, but take a moment and appreciate that strong, beautiful deep and full voice he had. Soulful is the proper word.
What a sound u can make on thoose Gibson Guitars 😍 No one will ever come close to Gary Moore playing Blues Guitar.... R.I.P Gary.. 😢😢 thanks for leaving us with your sound.. It will be heard by me and many more for the rest of my life.. Didnt know what music was before i heard Gary Moore playing Blues... ❤❤❤
First of all I found Peter Green - then I discovered Gary Moore - my life has never been the same. He is part of me, always will be. God Bless you both.
I hear ya. Hurts everytime we lose a great player. I wish so much this gentleman was still around. I guess in a sense he is. I have many memories as well as the cd’s that keep his music living on. So thankful for that fact.
Absolutely Brilliant ... Peter Green would tip his hat to this wonderful Irish Counterpart. BB Kings influence on these 2 Legendary Guitarists is quite evident on this Track. I tip my Hat to both the Green God, and Gary Moore. May all 3 RIP. 🎸🎸🌹🌹🙏🔥❤️
I agree completely. There is no such thing as the best or greatest player - it is all in the mind of the individual listener. I've had the oddest emotions running through me when listening to Gary, already in his Heavy Rock era, like the title track from Victims of the Future, which sends shivers down my spine every time. R.I.P. Gary, gone into different light much to soon :|
I think you have to be able to play the guitar too truely appreciate just how good Gary Moore was ,the tone the subtle touches the timing and the share skill and talent , i have been playing the guitar for forty years, and if I could go to my grave saying I was as half as good as Gary Moore I'd die happy .but alas I'm not there yet.
Gary Moore was the BEST electric guitar blues player there EVER WAS! Show us someone better! It can’t be done! RIP Gary, you are not nor ever will be forgotten!
He puts his heart and soul into this song. He was a great fan of Peter Green, who made the song famous in the late 1960's. This song is one of my favourites, and Gary Moore does not disappoint me. He was ne of the greatest guitarists that ever lived, and a great inspiration to guitarists like me.
This was such a great loss to music the day Gary passed away. RIP Gary and thanks for the gems you’ve given us. May they always shine as bright as this one
Nope..that was Peter Green in disguise. Lol. Gary puts his soul in this song. Much respect to my hero.Mr. Gary Moore. So soft but also beautiful at the same time.
Wow, what a theme and interpretation! I think this is the only song with my beloved unchainned melody, that can touch my heart very deep. I have been a guitarrist for many years, and the outro is unique, it is the only guitarrist that has made me drop a tear in each of the main parts of his solo. What a feeling, what a heart, what a vibratto ..... i thank God that Gary was sent to the Earth to share his feelings with us. A big hug from the earth to the heaven!
No, Green offered the guitar to Gary for sale as he felt that it needed a custodian, somebody who would do the instrument justice. In fact, after Gary's death, Green had been offered the guitar back but declined, stating "Oh god no, look at the state that thing is in!" Peter Green likes his guitars in mint condition.
@@RastaSaiyaman The story i read in an interview with Gary Moore is that Peter gave it to him for nothing. Gary visited him when he was reclusive and Peter says I want you have my guitar. He said no way I can take it from you.. After his visit he got home and found the guitar in the bots of his car.
