Even though these are GORGEOUS, I am genuinely shocked they came in simple plastic bags. If I paid almost $350 for a single dress that is clearly more of a luxury item/ brand, one I would have probably saved up money for, I would expect it to be packaged better. I know many probably don’t care how it’s shipped/ packaged- but I would feel like it takes away from the customer experience if you know what I mean? Plus the return window is very short to me.
With this said you looked amazing in everything you got and the fact that you seem happy with your purchase is all that matters in the end 💖

When you said expensive, I thought you meant like Teuta Matoshi expensive (a brand Mia knows very well). I assume the Selkie dresses are not custom made like Matoshi's? If you really want to splurge, I suggest trying a few of THOSE dresses. I'm considering having one made for my wedding. Considering the cost of traditional wedding dresses, Teuta's line is substantially cheaper and a lot prettier.

@@hdawes816these are def expensive but I was kinda underwhelmed, matoshi’s designs are dream like, so beautiful and jaw dropping, no hate but these look kinda…basic. I’m sure the quality is good, but the design is not that groundbreaking

Idk if it will work for you, but sometimes when I have a necklace that seems hopelessly tangled, I’ll fill a shallow bowl with some lukewarm water and a little bit of dial soap. Put the necklace in the bowl and gently swish it around a little. The soap helps make it slippery and the water lets the chains float and naturally separate a little so that you can start unknotting. It’s such a cute necklace. I hope you were able to fix it!

My wedding dress was a Selkie dress! One of their gowns. It was gorgeous, I got tons of compliments, and compared to what other wedding dresses cost, far less expensive. My husband's suit ended up costing more than my dress. Now I just need an excuse to wear it more often!

If you accidentally get a bigger size, find a tailor near you I luckily leave in an area where I can find tailors that aren’t too expensive. But it’s worth it especially if you love the piece and just want it to fit you better 🥰 love ya. I never comment but I just love how humble, bubbly and kind you are 💕

I got mine in a proper box with selkie logo on it and inside it the dress was properly sealed in a recycled selkie bag. But I believe it was accidentally?! Cause I am seeing so many unboxing reviews where they received it in just a flimsy packages (not boxes)

I’ve noticed that sometimes Hope hypes up some brands/dresses but it doesn’t seem to worth the effort. This while other times there are things that fit and look great on her but she won’t give them the deserved recognition .
This brand in particular is very pricey for a badly fitted dresses and they didn’t look that great to be honest. But watching you trying them on it’s fun, thank you 🙏🏻🌸🌿

@rachelcuddington4210 You may want to know that Fanciful Doll's owner gaslighted + fatshamed one of her customers - she was sent the incorrect dress but was told it was 1) the correct dress and 2) it looked different because the model was smaller than her. For that reason a lot of us don't support Fanciful Doll.

I am so glad you didn't change your decision to wear that dress to the panel even tho the other creators had a different vibe going...I love dressing up but sometimes feel compelled to dress down in order to blend in with the people around me, so even though it might not seem like a big deal to other people, this made me really really happy! Yeah, that happens to me too. Sometimes I want to wear something fancy and think of don't wearing it becauae i want to blend in. But I decided I'm going to wear what i want and forget about the world. It has made me more self-confident and get more compliments.

Old lady designer here.. As for the prices I think they are pricey for what they are and the 14 day return on those clothes is ridiculous. Of course you look gorgeous in all of them and I was glad you decided to wear the "ball gown" to the event. You looked amazing and it was so you. I spent a good part of my life worrying about how my style was going to attract attention. Now at 63 I am excited to let my personal style be a part of who I am. You keep wearing your ball gowns and expressing yourself through fashion. Our young women need more people to tell them that it's fine to stand out.
