Still giving me the goosebumps in 2022.. I keep coming back for more! Thanks for all the love you guys!!
I feel you brother, and i was right now old when i knew that gary moore played with BB king, sooooo, i'm soooo amazed
Just found this gem 💎
@brandon stephens same here bud end of same month same year !!
Embarrassed to say Tik-Tok led me to this gem just today
At least once a day brother!!
I wanna be reminded everytime to come back here please give it a like
What a piece
Yes
Time to watch it again
BB King's face when Gary copies everything he does is priceless.
I LOVE IT
I love it I think he really enjoyed Gary’s playing
gary is one in awe =)
They bouth are FKING legends
BB does that every time he plays with somebody else. That's his Showmanship.
Sounds like one guitar is screaming and other is comforting it. Absolutely phenomenal !!!!!
Absolutely spot on comment!
Perfect analogy!
One guitarist represents the wife, the other represents the husband...this song has deep meanings for a long time couples for one already pass away...really blue in deed.
??????
Absolutely perfect explained
What’s so amazing is that Gary knows how to make the exact duplicate of BB’s lead with zero hesitation. It’s like he can actually communicate through the fretboard as he was speaking. It’s so fluid it’s totally amazing.
These two guitars absolutely are speaking to each other. Music is a language, and this is about the best proof of it I've ever seen
He’s th perfect student
That's the groove
that was his perfect pitch at work
Well not like they didn't rehearse this.. Brilliant nonetheless!
One of the hottest 10 mins of music ever recorded
The conversation between those two guitars was something else, something above earth
THAT'S RIGHT ❤
Yeah, it's really cool.
Lo maximo
One of the greatest duo
I've heard people say the aim of playing guitar is to mimic the human voice, hence the use of vibrato. This duet is like a conversation between two old friends who haven't seen each other for a while.
Who's still watching this in mid 2022.
Still gives me chills down my spine.
The facial expressions of BB king 👑 is 1 in a mil.
Much love 🤩
Yeah, He is 1 in a MILL..N, THE KING !
I've got my les paul plugged in and play along with this,it's cool blues oh btw it's 8am Sunday morning in California been warming up since 6:30 so now it's time to wake the neighbors and turn it up
I’m listening, because every once in awhile I am struck with good taste and intelligence 😃

Watching this in 2029
The best part for me is how Gary Moore pays respect to B.B, and never overplays him. Gorgeous blues, simple and elegant. Masterclass.
So true
Two Masters of the Guitar working together.
24 anyone??
I agree
Yeah, he was holding back big time!
the luckiest audience to witness a legendary moment
How cool 😎 is this
Who else is enjoying this in 2020?
Gotta love Gary so methodical and such a class act to play when he plays with the great King.
I hope to still be listening to this in 2050. It doesn't get much better than this.
lol me, well those two just came somehow to my mind, dont know why :) 2 masters of da bluez :) and i am sure this is live from cloud 9, so lovely guitares :) R.I.P. both of em...
I'm from Domican republic and i love that man guitar sound.he was wonderful those people play with their heart.
OMG!!!!!!!
Unbelieveble.... magic!!!
I have seen BB King performing this on many occasions with the best guitarists, yet no one, no one, is in harmony with him like the late great Gary Moore.
Anyone who can play blues like this AND Rick with Thin Lizzy is guitar god. GARY MOORE!
I'm jealous. I wish I got the chance to see both these musical geniuses
So true! They had a special musical bond..
Questo è vero, ma anche eric Clapton
Oh my, oh my😪 they are both gone from this plane😓. But their music
Unfortunatly Mr Gary Moore is one of the most underrated guitarist. I wonder why ?
The guitar hero era was over so most people never paid attention. But musicians and music lovers did. Moore one of the All time greats.
I love that no one is moving in the house as these two giants go back and forth.
Gary didn't want to impress B.B., he wanted to jam with him.
🇧🇷😎
showing him some respect by not "overplaying"
@@joddeurter2448 Totally respectful. Moore could've blown, blown, blown all day long but chose instead to listen and respond. That's blues at its finest and shows maturity and professionalism. Also, it's refreshing to hear Moore not use oversaturation and be sensitive by using his volume control on the guitar.
@@rafro007 Well you missed the "jam" with Albert King, where Moore pulled out every white "blooze" rock cliche, overplayed, over volumed, pinched harmonics, pick scratches, low E string bends, gain on 10.................It was pretty lame. Meanwhile, Albert was icy cool.....I'll agree that he is behaving himself here. Still too much distortion though when you are playing with BB
Gary would have impressed BB with a cleaner tone and better dynamics
2023 and i still think this is the best live performance iv seen my entire life
You’re not far wrong
not to compare but back in 1990 i and a buddy went to see dr john at the blue note in ny city. to this day i remember that night as the best of my life. the pure joy of being inches away from a legendary performer who was on that night coupled with him inviting us back to his dressing room after the show for drinks and lively conversation. i can imagine the people sitting in that bar that night felt something similar. i still cherish the autographed place holder he gave me to this day. rip gentleman. we lost giants with these.
watching BB's face go from surprise to shock to impressed during the call/reply solo was awesome. 30 years ago and still one of the best performances of this song
B.B. King y Gary Moore juntos no existirá nadie en el mundo que supere esa versión de "The thrill is gone" . ¡Besos al cielo!, desde Argentina.
2023 who’s still watching hit the thumbs up
2024 check in yall🤘🏼😂

The fact these two lead guitarist could play together and still make it sound perfect is amazing, no ego just love for the blues
Jake Grammer absolute pros!!
Still enjoying thes man, the best of the best.
Listening nearly every month to the cohesion of these ARTISTS
I met BB in early 1970, .. he even let me play some licks on Lucille... He was an amazing man.. one of the most incredible souls I ever met. His handshake was like being held by angels... He was a very very special soul indeed. May their souls both be someplace wonderful, playing the Celestial Blues...

Aspiring blues players really need to watch this. Perfect example of the Call and Response.
You saw that video too huh

Big hand to the bassist who held it all together! The Keyboards stayed out of it....only laying down pads.... the brass was there when needed... That Drummer? Wow...in and out of volume as required! This is a masterpiece!!
True musician's, played as if they had been playing together for years. Definitely feel they we're enjoying themselves. Long live the blues. Love from South Carolina
Its Pino Palladino on the bass i think
You so right my friend
Andy Pyle on bass, Graham Walker on drums and Tommy Eyre on keyboards. Very very tight band.

Hahah
BB never liked to play rhythm. He just made it cry and sing like a mother 🙂
No egos just 2 lads playing their guitars. They just happen to be 2 of the greatest guitarists to have ever lived.
Totally agree, anyone who wants to see ego should watch John Mayer performing with BB. BB looks like he gets fed up with him.
This is great. Gary is toying with BB. Every lead B B plays Gary is watching and playing BB with ease. Gary Moore is much better than Bb. Listen to Gary’s tribute to Jimi. Gary and Jimi are the best that ever lived
@@stevensappol3762 Only toddlers like yourself indulge in the school yard ridiculous ego bullshit, of who was better. Gary paid his respects to one of the greatest Blues guitar pioneers EVER. That's why BB King was on stage with Gary. It wasn't a competition, they were jamming together. Two different styles, that meshed perfectly on stage.
@@stevensappol3762 Not toying, having a respectful conversation. Sure, Gary could have played more notes, louder and with more distortion. So could BB, I saw him do it. But his thing was usually meant to be a little slower, more sensitive and delicate than that, though still masculine and assertive. BB did have his limitations, couldn't sing and play at the same time. But he defined his style of playing the blues, and then kindly allowed lots of people to stand next to him and try their imitations. Gary Moore is one of the few to come close to succeeding, while also inserting a bit of his own voice.
BB King may be a legend in the genre of Blues, but "greatest"? Hendrix is better and even he is overrated... i'm probably wrong, but music is not a competition...
Who listening to this work of art in 2022?
Two absolute legends at the very top of their game just having fun and enjoying the moment. Absolute magic.

You can clearly see at the end of the video, B.B. King was emotional. Gary touched that man's heart and soul like no other. God bless them. RIP.
That was a true Masterclass.
BB always seemed sincerely grateful to meet great young players who’d be around to carry on the blues.
I remember seeing BB live once, playing with SRV. The obvious mutual respect they both showed was amazing. Then, just two months later, Stevie was gone
