Ah i was so lucky to meet Buddy Guy n his wife late 80s Burnley Blues Festival and BB King at Stadium Dublin approx same time thanks to a friend Brian Day in RTE TV. Im 62 yrs old now and still lovin the Blues n will till die 💝💙💙💙💝🙏

I've been lucky enough to have seen B.B. King and Albert Colin's live. I also was blessed to see Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn in concert the same night. I know they're jamming in heaven with all the other greats.
I just envie the people who had the privilege to see these monsters performing live !!! Lucky people !!! Lots and lots of people still listening these guys for decades to come that's why they'll live forever!!!

Although the ex Yardbirds duo can mix it with these greats, their inspiration to pick up a guitar 'was' because of them. Early blues classics & Legends left their mark on many brit players who went on to greater things and in doing so, helped push a stuggling genre into many more hearts & minds and the flood of brit pop & rock, sailed across the atlantic which helped keep alive such a deep and soulful music.
A prime example of old school blues with old school blues artists mixed with some of the best white boy blues artists for a great show that I agree is one of the best music videos on RUclips

I was blessed enough to be present at an intimate concert with Buddy Guy and BB King, and I would have to agree with you. BB was advanced in his years, and the arthritis was a real problem, and Buddy carried that concert. It was fantastic, and no one left feeling like they missed out.
I had the pleasure of seeing B.B. King, Buddy Guy, & Susan Tedeschi in concert in Columbus OH about 23 years ago. It was about as close to blues lovers' heaven as I could get in this lifetime!

Saw all these legends at several memorable Memphis in May and G3 concerts! Also Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Steve Vai, the finest nights of my life. Buddy ended up being my favorite performance! But I sadly missed Jeff Beck when he came to town.
