I'm sorry but I totally disagree. I love this performance and I think it's one of the best blues live performance of all time. But there's some people like Jimmy Hendrix, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Slash, Eric Clapton and others who made better guitar solos...
One of the best things to ever happen to Blues music is Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa teaming up. Both gifted. When they mix it up it's no longer music. It's alchemy.Blues Gold. This is what it feels like.
I’ve seen Joe 2 times as a solo act . Both shows were absolutely awesome. But the addition of Beth is like fine wine to the mix ! Wow this is killer ; doesn’t get any better than this !!!
On of the best version ever heard . It’s sad and swampier, yet bring back best memories to us older lady .😢❤ such an emotional sound in Joe s music . Personal in love with it .

We (I am almost 63) are the original rockers. We grew up with the best music ever. And age doesn't limit our love for great music in any way. It just means we have more experience. Our horizons are broad and excepting. Beth and Joe are 2 of my most favorite 😍
I love that she doesn't overdo her riffs and runs. They're used sparingly and tastefully. She telling a very sad story. So many singers are just singing way too many riffs and runs these days. Beyond great, everyone.
Yes they make it about them rather than the whole performance. But that's because they don't have anywhere else to go. They are limited...but Beth is not
Exactly! The number of times I’ve had to sit there and watch or play next to some idiot completely destroying a song.. BUT PEOPLE CHEER FOR IT people enjoy it just because it’s a any old generic voice without vibrato.. taste is absolutely fucking dead I quit playing long ago for reasons like you mention because there’s just no realistic place for gems like this on the average players gigging scene, you have to adhere to whatever is current and surely that kills the entire point? Sheeple kill everything
@@alanjones5786 Please respect Janis Joplin. You are a man, so probably, you have never thought about the fact, that the music industry had been a male domain. Janis did her way through that. Beth Heart had less problems, because of womon like Janis, Tina Turner RiP, Cher..., who made the road free, who are fighting for this.
I feel so fortunate to have seen Jimi Hendrix, Janis and so many other greats performing live. I'm crying just the same watching and listening to this incredible Ms. Hart with Joe performing one of the BEST f-ing songs EVER. She, Etta and Janis will always bring my tears, and I love them all for it. Great music is great music; I love them all, and miss terribly the ones that are no longer with us. To say one is better than the other is just crap. If it grabs your gut, your heart and your soul, it's great and that is all there is to it.
I can't watch this song without weeping. Janis has come down fron Heaven to be with Beth during this song. What emotion! What heart! (excuse the pun). There's only one word for it. Perfection. Both suffered terribly from drug addiction. Thank God, Beth survived. We love you, Beth. Also, thank you to Tina for the sublime lyrics.
If this performance doesn’t touch you, not even the Wizard of Oz can help you get a heart. 😂It’s just awesome and doesn’t get any better than this collab.
Damn this has to be the best Combo of guitar and vocals I have ever heard. I am 67 and have seen Janis Joplin in concert. Beth has to be as close to Janis as I have ever heard!! And Bonnamasso needs to no comparison. He is a master!!!
I agree, I am 68 and they both (Joplin) have that soul and charisma that makes excellent artists. I am in love with Beth. And with Joe in the mix it is damned awesome!
Robert Drake, Also 67 and this blew me away. One of my favorite songs I listen to every day but it's Etta James. Didn't discover this until today. WOW. Not to mention that she'd rather go blind than to see him walk away.
@@philipnunn4119 You're kidding, surely. I'm a great Janis fan but, in the singing dept Beth leaves her for dead - much better voice, but with the same intensity.
She has this same song with Jeff Beck, here by "coincidence" we found Joe Bonamassa... I highly recommend you to check Jeff Beck's version. You'll be delighted 😀
This is an outstanding rendition of this song and the combination of these two Uber-talents is just other worldly. Etta would be VERY proud of this! Beth Hart's vocal range and power accompanied by her connection to this song are felt "deep down to your bones!" I've listened to this song SO many times.
I'll keep commenting because something this wonderful moves me to do it. When I'm low, this lifts me with the sheer energy and musicianship of Beth, Joe and the band. You'll see more because I'll watch it again, and again.
Is there anywhere, ever a better live performance than this. Talk about music coming from the soul, everyone is on the nail behind Brilliant Beth and Joe.
I won't say this is better (it's a lot different), but it's right up there as far as fantastic live performances go: Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade of Pale, live in Denmark 2006 ruclips.net/video/St6jyEFe5WM/видео.html

Beth and Joe - what an amazing cover of a blues classic! Soul, raw emotion and heart wrapped into an amazing performance. This one stops me cold every time!

I'm sorry but I totally disagree. I love this performance and I think it's one of the best blues live performance of all time. But there's some people like Jimmy Hendrix, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, Slash, Eric Clapton and others who made better guitar solos...
@@fischerfritz4595You didn't even mention Eddie Hazel, Prince n Buckethead.
@@fischerfritz4595 All very talented but Beth is almost all alone the way she sings. Tracy Chapman is another.
Incredible performance! Best version of this song ever ❤
I love your music - Louise McDonough
One of the best performance I have ever seen in my life. Beth sings her heart out.

both beth &Joe the best...better than Etta James version & I love her
Joe too!
And a fine job she does too!
😍🥰❤️🥰😍
One of the best things to ever happen to Blues music is Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa teaming up. Both gifted. When they mix it up it's no longer music. It's alchemy.Blues Gold. This is what it feels like.
A mix of Janis Joplin and Hanne Boel. It`s Amazing. Throw in a litle vaya con dios and I`m think were close. But Beth is Beth, fantastic
I’ve seen Joe 2 times as a solo act . Both shows were absolutely awesome. But the addition of Beth is like fine wine to the mix ! Wow this is killer ; doesn’t get any better than this !!!
Be careful.. passion will undo the best of us
ETTA JAMES!!

On of the best version ever heard . It’s sad and swampier, yet bring back best memories to us older lady .😢❤ such an emotional sound in Joe s music . Personal in love with it .
Espetacular ! 🔝🔝🔝🔝👊
Hart and Bonamassa...the best of the blues today.
I think we all should recognize, that Joe Bonamassa is s.b.very special..🎶🎵💚💛❤
Jesus Christ Joe's guitar melted my face and Beth's performance melted my heart. This is how music should be 🙄😃
Yes, actually music not talkathon lol this young generation thinks that junk is music so??
That's feeling the music!
His guitar does the talking
Jesus Christ is not an adjective to use in a sentence He offers you the choice to be your personal Saviour.
A minimum of 20 well know artists have sang this but none will come close to Beth's version. It's like listen to someone trying to cover SRV. Close, but something is missing.
BETH & JOE BONAMASSA BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!!! 😊😊😊❤❤❤😮😮😮❤❤❤😮😮😮❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love Beth's voice and Joe can make his guitar just cry!😎👏
Yes and Yes, what a wonderful Song. That is Teamwork at it's Best. Damn.
@@johnruth4311 Yer, and those that say Joe is 'a fake' need to eat their words with razor blades! Joe's the real deal... nothing fake with him and Beth's voice is killer!
They are such raw talent and so true to their love of music.
81, got my pods in my ears and grooving on this amazing song.... I've watched the entire concert BUT THIS is the highlight of the concert... THE WOMAN CAN SING A SONG!! And Joe is not doing too bad either...
God! I thought no one could hold a candle to Etta- but wow just wow!!
Beth Hart is the white Etta James and I love them both❤
My words exactly 🙏🏻
❤
caro amico Roger, musica, esecuzione strumentale e vocale sublime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just watched this again again again and again ... The most emotionally powerful performance duo ever ...
beth hart is a legend. you rarely see performers give their everything to their art, like beth does. brilliant brilliant brilliant!
Well said Sara. Just right!
Amen!
Yes exactly . She is very talented and she has such an amazing voice. I wonder where those 4000 dislikes came from? People are weird!
One of the best live vocals I’ve ever heard and one of the best guitar solos as well! Love the horns and rhythm section immensely as well! Unbelievable!
So good when not altered
Check out Beth and Jeff Beck at the Buddy Guy Tribute
Beats this!!!
Check it out.
Equiparada com a saudosa Janis Joplin parabéns
Beth Hart is a performer an singer an Joe is one of best guitar players ever ..
I've listened to this hundreds of times now, and it's just a few minutes of musical genius.
I totally agree ❤️❤️
Absa f'in lutely
She is sooooo goooood🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yo también 😭
Such an amazing & soulful voice! And Joe.....such an amazing collaboration!
One of the best performances I've ever heard in my life, no doubt about it.
I'm almost 62 years old and I think this grand piece of music is for everybody young and old . What a awesome song and what a voice . Magnificent !! Love it!!! Greatz Holland
We (I am almost 63) are the original rockers. We grew up with the best music ever. And age doesn't limit our love for great music in any way. It just means we have more experience. Our horizons are broad and excepting. Beth and Joe are 2 of my most favorite 😍
im 37 ,i feel the same way as you, i guess i ll age well as you.
Fantastic. No other words
I love that she doesn't overdo her riffs and runs. They're used sparingly and tastefully. She telling a very sad story. So many singers are just singing way too many riffs and runs these days. Beyond great, everyone.
Yes!!! That’s the thing that makes me crazy.
Janis who?
@@alanjones5786 Please respect Janis Joplin. You are a man, so probably, you have never thought about the fact, that the music industry had been a male domain. Janis did her way through that. Beth Heart had less problems, because of womon like Janis, Tina Turner RiP, Cher..., who made the road free, who are fighting for this.
WOW! What a performance! Hart singing from the heart. Joe playing from the heart. So much emotion and feeling and soul. That's the BLUES for ya!
❤
This is EXTRATERRERISTRIAL, a masterpiece of all i've heard in my last 60 years, thank you Beth and Joe! ❤
Points of her own, way up high!!!!!!😀
Bob will give you credit 🤭
I've never heard it better said. Thank you.
You saw Jimi and Janis...Congratulations!?!
ruclips.net/video/Eqq5xkOQVBE/видео.html
Exactly !!
If this performance doesn’t touch you, not even the Wizard of Oz can help you get a heart. 😂It’s just awesome and doesn’t get any better than this collab.
Where have I been all my life to have never heard this woman before? Holy hell this is amazing!!!!
Great Joe!
Honestly I think Beth is better a LOT better
Robert Drake, Also 67 and this blew me away. One of my favorite songs I listen to every day but it's Etta James. Didn't discover this until today. WOW. Not to mention that she'd rather go blind than to see him walk away.
she's good but she aint even close to janis
@@philipnunn4119 You're kidding, surely. I'm a great Janis fan but, in the singing dept Beth leaves her for dead - much better voice, but with the same intensity.
Beth doesn't perform a song, she LIVES it! I could listen to this forever
Touches my soul...
Janis over again
Amen
The voice and the passion Beth puts in this song is Amazing!!! and lets not forget Joes guitar solo.....Wow!!! Thank you guys.
What a voice.....
This is utterly remarkable. Astonishing. Goosebumps in 2021.
Thank you. This gave me goosebumps all through my soul.
She has this same song with Jeff Beck, here by "coincidence" we found Joe Bonamassa... I highly recommend you to check Jeff Beck's version. You'll be delighted 😀
I keep coming back to this when I need an earthy blue fix!
If there's a better version of this song I haven't heard it yet. The BEST!
@@Alexandra_acount3 Agreed! This is the ultimate version of the song, and it's never dated, thanks to these 2 incredible artists.
This is an outstanding rendition of this song and the combination of these two Uber-talents is just other worldly. Etta would be VERY proud of this! Beth Hart's vocal range and power accompanied by her connection to this song are felt "deep down to your bones!" I've listened to this song SO many times.
same !!! 🙌🏻🔥💎💯
She is amazing! Her voice has no limits. What an awesome performance!
So glad my ears work❤
Man, if Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin had a daughter, her name would be Beth Hart...amazing vocalist and talent...
Perry Savard
I know what you mean but Joe never got into fucking dead women.
I agree. Any day. Janis's daughter ❤️
Did janis do this ?
Exactly
Sounds bit like rebecca Ferguson too
AS LONG AS I CAN HEAR...I'LL NEVER BE BLIND!!!
I'M 70 AND I LOVE MUSIC...BUTT SOMEHOW I NEVER HEARD THIS MAGNIFICENT VOICE!!!
I'm 70 and I love music as well! And I recently heard this beautiful voice and delivery! Crazy stuff Maynard!
😎
I'll keep commenting because something this wonderful moves me to do it. When I'm low, this lifts me with the sheer energy and musicianship of Beth, Joe and the band. You'll see more because I'll watch it again, and again.
Yes Sir you are in complete control on a guitar.❤
Is there anywhere, ever a better live performance than this. Talk about music coming from the soul, everyone is on the nail behind Brilliant Beth and Joe.
I won't say this is better (it's a lot different), but it's right up there as far as fantastic live performances go:

William, I’m agreeing with you.
Watched this a few times now, Beth and Joe are just so good together, the combination of Joes clean playing style Guitar riffs and Beths incredible vocals, just sublime...
every time I listen/see this... I get goosebumps!!!! Amazing
Joe and Beth ❤ what a combination for a perfect performance of love and blues
I've watched this more than a few times. I'm addicted. I need to get the album.
Jesus what a band , what performers even through a screen i can't hold back my tears . Thank you.
The combination of Beth and Joe is a guarantee for deeply expressed blues feelings. Simply great. Beth has the same vocally capabilities as Joe playing on his guitars. A winning fusion.
Beth and Joe - what an amazing cover of a blues classic! Soul, raw emotion and heart wrapped into an amazing performance. This one stops me cold every time!
I love everything about this. The emotion can bring you to your knees. She makes you believe every word she sings. I love how the guitar solo makes you feel the same emotions as her singing does. It gives me chills and just hits my soul. This is what a true live performance is and should always be! Thank you so much for this.
Ditto.

As a fellow Arnold I must agree wholeheartedly since we are both stronger than an eagle and that's what Arnold means but it's the a that gets us to the top of the mountain after all these years myself that's actually rules can't touch her trivial unconscious earthly d****** anyway I just wanted to tell you that Beth actually is born in the year of the metal rat which there was a triangle of spirit fire which is made up of the three fire signs and Chinese astrology that would be
The dragon same as Aries and the dragon reigns
The monkey same as Leo and the monkey entertains
The rat the same as Sagittarius Sagittarius rules
I love meeting like hearted people and reading their comments mostly it makes my day unless I have to deal with stupidity which is the rule these days anyway ciao namaste be safe
quelle talent....magnifique
Every so often someone comes along with all of the tools! Beth Hart is one of those people. Beth has the stage presence and the voice that will lull you into a MUSICAL COMA...As did Janis Joplin, Elvis, and The Beatles, and when Joe Bonamassa plays that telecaster the entire song becomes Magical...
There is another one with all the tools, her name: Floor Jansen
This is a Masterpiece Performance
