Misha's a man who knows a lot about guitars, what is great about this guitar is that no compromises were made, everything on the guitar is what Misha wanted. I got the 7 string version and it feels and looks amazing, just need the 6 string version now.
ive seen him play a jackson that looked like the ht6 but had a different bridge, different inlays but same bodyshape, it was black, I couldnt quite see the whole guitar but he played it in a instagram clip, it looked like a x series type prototype, dont quote me 100%
meesher clearly haven't seen ibby uppercut models. those comes stock with bkp aftermaths, so ht6/7 isn't the only guitar in the world that comes stock with bkps. but whatever it is, I love u Misha. no homo
just a question, if he has a Problem with the top strings sounding thin and the bottoms being to loose or having a bad Intonation when tuned loww ( on 7 and 8 String )... Why doesn't he try out Fanned Fret Multiscale Guitars? I think they would be perfekt for that Djentle tone :o
He says that he was aiming for a balanced tone from his guitar, but ebony fretboard and. Stainless steel frets are a super bright combo. Overall great guitar! He is a knowledgeable player!!
Love this guy, I just bought the RGDIX7MBP though and I doubt that this beats it. I've watched all kinds of videos on this guitar and unless you're obsessed with Misha.. I just don't see it.
lmao even an RG7420 would tie with the RGDIX7MPB and it's like, what, $400? You just got scammed into paying $1000 for an Indonesian guitar when you could have got a VASTLY superior Korean, Mexican, Japanese, or American guitar for the same price or less. At least the Ibanez Premiums/Premium Signatures are made in a dedicated Premium factory with more attention to QC and they generally have features that slightly justify the price (much nicer selection of woods/tops/finishes, good variation of pickup and string options, etc)
The 7420 is garbage! It looks like crap, and those quantum pickups aren't good either. Until you've played the RGDIX7MBP, you should cool it. Not a single bad review from the most trusted guitar reviewers and this guitar is worth it. I've been playing for over 10 years and have plenty of guitars to compare this one to for the price.
Cody Oki It's an Indonesian guitar for $1000, literally from the same factory and workers as the $300 Ibanez standards. The Iron Labels are horribly overpriced man. I'm not trying to knock your guitar, I'm sure it plays fine (I love how my RG8WNF plays), but shooting down a MIA guitar with brand name hardware, better construction, better QC, etc... just because you didn't get a lemon doesn't seem right.
That shares many features with the Chris Broderick guitar. The tone bypass, the headstock shape, etc. Very cool. I bet it is salty as hell to buy, but hey, got to have something to save for, right?
have you owned any of their newer guitars cause they definitely dont suck . their old ones yes but new ones no. and they have stock guitars that are not custom builds .
Personally I think the Schecter KM-7 is a better 7 string guitar, more affordable I know it's not us but it's still high end spec. Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Jackson I own a rr5, rrtmg and I want to grab the new rrx24 when it's available but this guitar just seems the wrong way to go when there are better and cheaper options out there. Just my opinion.

Mark has a PRS SE model and Jake now has the JBM100 model. Waiting for an affordable version of Misha's Jackson!!
yehs pls
I've seen what looks like a less costly version of Misha's Jackson on his instagram, so it should be in the works.
I'll be purchasing one of these in a few months! So excited!
Nope, played 3-4 Mayones from Masterbuilt to other. Can't compare to my skervy and this Jackson.
Vic OMG same!! 6 or 7 tho
We need an X series of Misha's guitar :( come on Jackson
ive seen him play a jackson that looked like the ht6 but had a different bridge, different inlays but same bodyshape, it was black, I couldnt quite see the whole guitar but he played it in a instagram clip, it looked like a x series type prototype, dont quote me 100%
Been hearing that a Pro Series is in the works.
Look out Namm 2017 ;)
X
Actually Ibanez had a prestige model with bareknucles in it standard, but yes rare as hell.
I'd really like to see a HT FF 7 and 8 honestly:
Misha has such an amazing ear for tone
god damnit , I thought he was announcing the affordable version :(
same
U can still sell a few organs and maybe an arm and u might be halfway there
they need to make one, im dying
you want an affordable custom axe i HIGHLY suggest a Kiesel
clintusmaximus I've heard blackmachines are cheap too
Man, you can't find these Lambo Orange ones anywhere anymore. Would just to ditch my crappy Kiesel and get one of these in a 7 string.
It looks like it's made from dragon balls
Nice! The Johnny Marr Jag comes with Bare Knuckle Pickups standard too though.
Jackson PLEASE make a budget version of this guitar.
Nice Axe Misha, love the color, finish, Stainless steel frets are Win.
Sounds like the bridge is important, howki does the bridge on the Pro series compare to the Hipshots, is it the same metal?
Can you custom order these through the custom shop? Bring these back I would buy one yesterday if they were still around!
I
What effects are you running during this review?
What kind of orange was that?
I'd love to see this and the blue version as a more affordable guitar
meesher clearly haven't seen ibby uppercut models. those comes stock with bkp aftermaths, so ht6/7 isn't the only guitar in the world that comes stock with bkps. but whatever it is, I love u Misha. no homo
How many were made in orange?
This guitar leads the way in the "rich kid" metal scene.
lol
Was the color inspired by Keith Merrows guitar?
just a question, if he has a Problem with the top strings sounding thin and the bottoms being to loose or having a bad Intonation when tuned loww ( on 7 and 8 String )...
Why doesn't he try out Fanned Fret Multiscale Guitars? I think they would be perfekt for that Djentle tone :o
you are right but i think they look like shit
He says that he was aiming for a balanced tone from his guitar, but ebony fretboard and. Stainless steel frets are a super bright combo. Overall great guitar! He is a knowledgeable player!!
I think that balances well with the juggs which have a fat tonality, but I think he should have gone with basswood or mahogany instead of alder
damn Misha always has the really nice looking and great sounding guitars too bad I'll never be able to afford one haha
I want a 7-String version of that guitar.
+MishaMansoor 4:19 Jeez dude, how low are you riding your strings.? Or maybe it's the camera distance.
theyre so close to the frets even the wind blowing can fret notes.
Ibanez make a RGD hat has bareknuckles stock :)
and a FR!
Ibanez has a few models with bareknuckles.
The rgduc, fr6uc, arz6uc and the s6uc
please let there someday be a multiscale version.
Misha's voice sounds just like Jimmy Kimmel's
Love this guy, I just bought the RGDIX7MBP though and I doubt that this beats it. I've watched all kinds of videos on this guitar and unless you're obsessed with Misha.. I just don't see it.
iron label 😂
it beats even the low tier prestige models, rgdix is far from its competition bro
lmao even an RG7420 would tie with the RGDIX7MPB and it's like, what, $400?

the iron label has name brand hardware and pups, and is about 2000 dollars cheaper.
what song is it Playing around 9:30
Remain Indoors - Periphery
What song is at 0:15 pls ?
thnx
yahaguitars Marigold
That shares many features with the Chris Broderick guitar. The tone bypass, the headstock shape, etc. Very cool. I bet it is salty as hell to buy, but hey, got to have something to save for, right?
damn right Lemmy!
Ibanez uppercuts DO have bareknuckle pu's stock!
Same with Halo guitars!
tyler danforth halo are custom guitars. and they suck
have you owned any of their newer guitars cause they definitely dont suck . their old ones yes but new ones no. and they have stock guitars that are not custom builds .
If he thinks that anything longer than 26.5" would kill the string tension on his 7-strings, why not get a multi-scale neck on his guitars?
i know ibanez has a couple guitars that come with BareKnuckle pickups.
Boxcutter Actual he meant his signature pickups from bareknuckle.
1:15 - "I believe this is like, the only guitar that comes standard with a Bare Knuckle humbucker... In the world."
Why does he always play riffs slower when showing off something? The riff from flatline was a lot slower
I really wish the 7 was 25.5 scale
He looks so tired
When misha says he doesn't have good technique...aaaaa
The rgd uppercut comes with bare knuckle aftermaths. That's not the first guitar to come with bkp.
This is pretty much an Ibanez RGA guitar. The body style is definitely Ibanez.
Wonder why he switched from mayones to Jackson
5k why not ...
Its funny how this guitar is what I'd exactly want in a guitar.
we will not need a keyboard on future, misha's effect already has string sound
wish this was a lefty
:(

Nice! Now just make it not 3,000 dollars!
NasonJewton $3001... better?
FooFooCuddlypoops 5 haha I'm just saying a budget version would be nice. It's not really a good guitar for the money.
I have heard that a Pro-Series version is in the works. Under a grand.
And a lefty model please.
The fretboard looks like chocolate, mmmmmm
Mika Tarkela so do mishas chocolate fingers when he plays
just make a lefty model pls
WHY DOES MY TONE SUCK
Why would they put a quilt top on it and then paint over it? They could just put a maple top if that makes any sound difference. Waste of a tree.
AdamGtr86 binding
You can get natural binding. Maybe not quilted by standard but still a waste. Quilted maple costs $ and then they shit on it.
I think its innovative. I kinda like it, however youve got a point.
You just dont paint over a quilted maple top. Thats borderline criminal and a waste of material.
ghahahahah
the b-roll footage is like, awful +(
I find this guy irritating
why?
Um hahahahaha I hope I never see his hair like that ever again HAHAHA
I love him but his tones are always terrible in videos like this. NO OFFENSE IF YOU READ THIS
i dig his tones almost always
Pretty shitty tone for a 3K guitar.
What song is at 3:40 pls
thnx
Marijan Desin The way the news goes I should think
So there is a instrumental version around somewhere :)
Thank you
