This guy always has everyone's best interest at heart, he reminds me so much of Dimebag Darrell in this way, compassion must make for some of the heaviest riff writing imaginable. 🤘
Dimebag was a guitar virtuoso absolutely but he was racist and played a guitar with a confederate flag on it... compassionate is not a word I'd use to describe him...
He was born in the 60s, in Texas no less. It's no surprise really. He's also been dead almost twenty years, so doesn't really matter anymore does it. @@havenless3551
The thing with Jeff Loomis is that his riffs sounds like solos yet so dark and melodic. His alternate and economy picking are second to none, and he can sound melancholic given the circumstances. When he write the stuff, no single note nor riff are wasted, and nothing is out of place.
Just the "essential" (switch + volume), my kind of setup! Not to mention the rest of the specs, what a great guitar, I wish I could get one, I always loved Jackson since I first saw it +30 years ago...
I love Jackson snd Ibanez,i own a Jackson soloist pro series #7 Mick Thompson Slipknot w active Seymour Duncan blackout pickups, hardtail with floyd tunability, drop beast! Your guitar is sic ,looks and sounds like it! Now gotta grab one for myself...
Jeff and Jackson have created a truly great selection of guitars. Unfortunately, my desired configuration is not there yet: A Kelly with 7 strings, a fixed bridge (ideally with Evertune) and the Noumenon pickups. Please make this possible!!!
This is not a knock because I absolutely love my Jeff Loomis SL7. For all my waiting wanting something that passionately inspires me just looking at it... Jeff came through. I agree that the hard tail for some is desired depending on one's playing needs, but I was curious to see with the new pickups if different color options may be on the future menu. If not... I was thinking about purchasing the hardtail and painting the body white, silver, or gunmetal grey. Between Jeff Loomis and Christ Broderick axes... all my bonus money from work is virtually spent (LOL!!!)
So i guess Jeff is more comfortable these days as a solo act? :( He created *MAGIC* with Warrell Dane and Nevermore i still say he needs to get the rest of the band together and go get Matt Barlow and make something new and refreshing. As much as i like "some" solo albums it is nice to hear some vocals on songs . Man...to hear a Matt Barlow on a Jeff Loomis record would be Majestic. DO IT Jeff! ;)
I'm really looking forward to listening to the future album that you're working on in the shadows. From one of your French fans and guitarist (by the way, I was hesitating between your SL7 HT and a luthier's guitar [obviously more expensive, but I think I'll save up for this SL7-HT after buying a set of Nounemou microphones to put on the guitar I'm currently using].
OK, so I'd rather have a Floyd Rose on a guitar than not because of what I like to play even though changing strings is a chore. But, other than that, why I really like the guitar in this video is that it has a 3-way toggle and the passive pickups. I have a tone knob in my Jackson but I never use it. It's always turned fully up. Perhaps I'll try to experiment with it occasionally but I wouldn't miss it if I had Jeff's guitar.
OK... I rethought my earlier opinion. Black is the ideal color, but I'm probably gonna buy the hard tail with passive pickups and paint the body white. I need my heaven and hell conflict of the soul vibe.
I had my eyes on this model before and fell in love with it, but I was completely uncomfortable with the Floyd Rose bridge. I was kind of dreaming that a fixed bridge version would appear and here it is.. now where's the fucking money.
He just confirmed... Working on NEW SOLO ALBUM!!! FINALLY!!! Cant wait! \,,/
man has been saying that since before arch enemy
He waited for Time II to come out first
@@shaharbar😂
I’ve been waiting for his solo album for a decade now. IT WILL HAPPEN….IT MUST HAPPEN
I have been waiting for more than 10 years. It is very nice to hear that!
As someone who's not a huge FR fan, this makes me very excited. Might have to grab myself one.
I wish it would come with evertune bridge.

His playing is so insanely aggressive and precise… and he’s so articulate and soft spoken when he talks. What a pro… top notch human being.
FINALLY THIS IS JEFF LOOMIS HAS TO BE!!! GIGANTIC MONSTER TONE 🔥🔥🔥,...BRING BACK NEVERMORE AGAIN!!!!
Jeff and Jackson, for the love of God make a 6 string version of this beast. Badass playing. Badass guitar. 🤘
I think they already did
7 is da way
I can agree that 6 string players need access to this beast,... but 7 strings is just perfect, trust me...
This almost feels like a 6 string, the neck is amazing. It feels very natural to play and near plays itself
There's already 6 string version of Kelly!!
4:59 - "I just like to really keep things... simple"
5:07 - ~start shred like a maniac~
God damn Jeff Loomis...
Jeff Loomis is a really big inspiration to take my guitar and shred 🎸🔥
jeff loomis the best human of the world
No that's Jesus, he's in prison in Mexico right now but he's just going through a phase. Otherwise, solid dude.
Jeff back to 7 is such a fantastic thing. I missed his Schecters when they were brand new so time to try this
Jeff Loomis is the real deal, and I love Jackson Guitars too! Loomislay side dots! Sorry couldnt resist.. haha
His Kelly is a 6 string, that's it.
lol 😆 love it

Yes he’s sick, but get off his dick
This thing looks solid. I don't need a guitar but as soon as I saw it I was like "wellll.... maybe I do need another". Fuck
"Fridge logo" is so accurate lol
Toothpaste logo... fridge logo... they all make me laugh since they make sense LOL!
It’s a breath of fresh air to see a metalhead who speaks well and has no tattoos.
his playing speaks for itself,
Just needs a reverse headstock and its absolutely perfect
Premier Metal guitar by one of the premier Metal guitarists! Thanks, Jeff, for the music!
He looks younger than how he looked like 15 years ago :) Props to him.
Jeff is the man
I guess it's a song from his new album ! delightfull
Im trying to find it!
Makes me want mine back! Killer guitar and killer company. Stay well and cheers from The U.P.
one of the nicest guys ever! I want one now!!!
Love the black wood grain on the guitar 🎸
This guitar is gorgeous! The pickups in this would be amazing, primarily being an acoustic player, it wouldn't feel so sensitive.
Congratulations for the new signature model!
This might be my first Jackson The 6 string.
Hardtail, passive seymour, 26,5 scale, killer look.. close to perfection for me!
Just the "essential" (switch + volume), my kind of setup! Not to mention the rest of the specs, what a great guitar, I wish I could get one, I always loved Jackson since I first saw it +30 years ago...
legend
Man I would love a full playthrough of what Jeff is playing there, is that an excerpt of something from the upcoming solo album? Sounds tasty!
What a beautiful guitar 😍👍🏻
Cheers from Austria ✌🏻
Yess, Exactly this one with the hardtail bridge is the way to go .. 🤘💀
new solo album!!!
Next Solo Album!!!!!
The shred master!!!
Sandblasted and black, YES!
Ive always wanted a loomis passive pickup. Im really into.dynamics in my playing and actives are just too clear for me. Im digging this.
This is HUGE! now I know my next 7. 🤘🏻

Actually, this is the perfect 7 string. From now on, everything new will never compare.
FINALLY, new music ❤
I want it.
Pretty slick guitar, honestly. Big fan of the HT and passives.
It's a fucking beautiful electric guitar!
Wow. Jackson loves taking my money. Would love to see an Ebony fretboard juggernaut pro series and a 26.5” Dave Davidson warrior 7 come out please!!!!
Looks Amazing 🎸!

I wonder that Jeff is recording a new album!!! :D

Nice guitar
Looking healthy Jeff
Such a humble awesome dude
Zero order phase is one of the best shred albums of all time. Fight me.
Oh we can fight, but it'll still be the best.
He confirmed it 🥰🥰 new solo album
Aw man I want a seven string and this one has the hardtail bridge now! If it only had stainless steel frets...
Ohhhh hell yes! That's killer 🤘🤘🎸🙏
Hi how are you rock on dude l am learning to play guitar basic power chords you are a perfect guitarist.

There it is! Sick 🤘
For the love of satan, PLEASE make a Kelly 7 string 26.5 with SS frets!

Guys an absolute unit…..a jato unit if you will 😉
Volume knob should be close to the bridge and low in height. 3 way pickup selector is great.
Damn Jeff, take your inspiration to Ibanez! An Ibanez RGRT 6 string would be so sick!!!!

IMO not doing a jackson kelly 7 string was a miss opportunity.
The new Baritone Kelly is dope I just got one 🤷🏻♂️

Jackson! No stainless steel frets again. This is a standard feature on guitars far less expensive.
Appleton, Wisconsin... If you know you know
Working in a new album Great
Damn. He gets a guitar every month.
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Nice! Will it be available in left-handed config?
Will the FR version get the new pickups too ?
Yum!
Could u do this for left handers please !!!!!
You think when he inevitably switches to ESP that those will be the "best" in the world?
Great guitar player. A god of a salesman.
I want a Kelly 7
Damn! Just paid off credit card. I guess I'll have to max it out again. 😮

What about stainless steel frets and an evertune ?
