Fun fact: the King V's body design, just like the Rhoads, is now different from what it once was. The guitar was originally designed by Robbin Crosby from RATT who asked Jackson to make a Flying V that was big enough for him (he was 6'5) by mirroring the longer upper horn of the Rhoads at the bottom, making it a Double Rhoads. Robbin's nickname was "King" and thus the guitar was called the King V. RATT was very popular but the giant red V that Crosby played was too unwieldy and thus in the following years it was shortened at the request of several guitarists so it could be played by normal sized people. At first, however, like the original Rhoads, it was still a 22 fret guitar (the most famous early example of these models was James Hetfield recording the entirety of Master of Puppets on a white hardtail King V) but that changed when in 1986 Dave Mustaine of Megadeth asked Jackson for a King V with 24 frets. The massive sales and tour in support of Peace Sells in 1986, the overall success of Megadeth, and the longstanding partnership of Marty Friedman and Dave Mustaine with Jackson throughout the 80s and 90s meant that King Vs with 24 frets became a standard and permanent feature.

Dan Spitz and Dave Mustaine are the reasons I bought a Jackson and that was one of the best choices I made in my life. Bought it from PMT in Norwich at their old location at Anglia Square. Still have it to this day here in Greece 🤘
Going to gigs in the eighties was awesome man. I saw Maiden, Van Halen, Dio, Ozzy, Sabbath, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, Twisted Sister, Y&T, Saxon, Motley Crüe, Motorhead, Guns n Roses, Metallica, Whitesnake, Queensryche, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, KISS, you name it. Without the interwebs a band coming to town was a real event, the excitement hung in the air for weeks beforehand. 🙌👌
My first really nice guitar was a custom ordered Jackson from Grover himself back in 1983 ! It was a Ferrari red super strat with a Floyd and two Seymour Duncan HB's ! It cost $1200 which at the time was a lot for a guitar that didn't say "Gibson" on it at the time ! When I got it a couple months later it was pure magic ! The action was so low it played notes just by thinking about them ! I played it for about 12 years in a band and I let a few friends from some local bands play it a few times and everyone that was lucky enough to play it immediately made an offer to buy it ! I met a girl and fell in love ! She didn't like the attention I received when playing out so said I had to either choose her or the band ! I chose her and eventually sold my Jackson for a $1,000 and a 1970's Marshall Plexi half stack for (gulp!) $500 (ouch !) and 3 months later my girl left me and moved out of town ! Let that be a lesson to you ! Girls will always come and go but if you luck into a magic guitar ...............lose the girl that asks you to get rid of it ! I would trade my Nissan Maxima for that exact guitar right now !
@@mariushebnes5951 Yes you are correct ! It happened like 25+ years ago so ........live and learn ! I have a collection of guitars now and a loving wife that has even bought me a couple to add to the collection ! Live and learn !
Your first clue should have been when she made you choose. If she really loved you, she would never had made you give up your playing. Sorry bro. My girl not only loved my playing, she wanted me to teach her how to play. That was cool. In all the years I've been playing there isn't anything I enjoyed more than sitting in our living room showing her how to play guitar. That was fun. She got pretty good at it too. Unfortunately, she got sick and passed away a couple of years ago. I still have her guitar on a stand next to my bed and every time I see it, it reminds me of a better time and place.
Lesson kids. Loan that bad boy to a immediate family member, no drug habits. Then 20 years layer shes see's you onstage with it, shredding, living well.
My Japanese made PS4 with HSH is such a great fit for my hand and my Jackson 5 string concert bass is the same way and just plays so great, sounds awesome, holds up for decades...
Tommy Skeoch, ex Tesla and currently with Resist and Bite has always kept Jackson close to heart. Great new album with those guys if you haven't heard it yet! Rock on!
Fun fact. I have an original Jackson Dinky Reverse from 1995. The neck is almost too thin but I LOVE IT. I spoke to Grover Jackson and he was surprised I still had it after 10 years. He was shocked the neck hasn't broken yet because he said there was a spec error and the necks were made way too thin. I still have that guitar.
Love my Jackson's and Charvels!!! I've owned many over the years from late 80's all the way until current. Never been disappointed!!!! Awesome guitars from a legend builder/manufacturer!!!!!!!
The build quality on my js22 is unreal. Neck straight af, frets smooth along the edges, the high e never gets caught under any frets. I actually love this satin finish neck way more than the painted gloss finish on the Ibanez rg I had years back. Just so comfortable to play
I have a Dinky with EMG silver in the bridge and EMG gold in the neck position. For over 20 years it has served me in every situation on stage and studio. It can scream or sound butter-smooth. Even when I had100+ guitars at my disposal, I would still pick up the black Jackson for almost every live situation.
4 or 5 years ago I saw a Jackson bass on eBay for a bargain price. My very old Aria wasn't sounding great and I needed something for gigs but didn't have much to spend. I took a gamble and it paid off because the bass I got was like new. There literally wasn't a mark on it, and it sounds great, is easy to play, and I love everything about it. My decision was partly swayed by the fact my maiden name was Jackson if I'm being very honest 😂
I bought my first Jackson about 8mo ago, a dinky JS22 in white for $199, it plays better than my 50th anniversary Strat, just amazing for the money. She’s a keeper
That's such a coincidence! The same day this video was released I bought my new JACKSON guitar! It's SO GOOD! I love it! I just got this in my recommended and had to watch. My new guitar is the Dinky Pro DK2QM and it's SO GOOD! I also saved like 400 bucks while buying it because it was repainted! If anyone is looking for a guitar that's around 1000-1500 I would definitely recommend this
Every since I saw a video of sepulturas andreas kisser playing a jackson live at Donnington in 94 I've wanted one. A friend sold me a charvette, it's a bit beaten up but as a teenager going around his house it inspired me to pick up the guitar. I sold an expensive guitar I had and dropped down to a jackson soloist. It's the best guitar I've ever played. You get so much hardware and playability for your money. I'm eyeing up an Adrian Smith model. For a bedroom guitar player that price range from £400-£700 offers so much. I swear Dagan could sell ice to the Eskimos... Great video. Can you do a video on budget pedals that enable you to sound like an 80s metal god.....
Jackson also currently has Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman, Dave Davidson, Brandon Ellis, Chris Broderick, and Misha. They've always had such a presence in metal. My favorite neck shapes too. Not too flat but still shreddy.
But Jackson also made some goofs Probably their biggest Fuckup was not signing Alexi Laiho and treating him like "just another customer" when his RR's got stolen ESP reaped all the benefits from that
@@Nightdare haha for sure. People complain about the Fender acquisition but I think it was a great business move. Alexi would have been the perfect upcomer (at the time) to push the RR shape.
My first serious electric was a JS30 Rhoads. In my country at the time, getting gig bags was a nightmare for the rhoads, but there was a shop in my home town that sold used stuff. The only case they had was an old Rhoads flight case that was still branded Charvel Jackson. It was a tank but it was SO heavy.
What a great video! In August 1989, I custom ordered a Jackson from a long-defunct guitar shop that carried them. I ordered a Dinky Strat with a flamed tiger-maple neck, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, an upturned headstock, a Floyd Rose, and a single J90C humbucker. I had it painted in blue denim, which was avaiable on the limited edition model they had in '89. I was torn between ordering one custom, or buying a dinky strat they had at the shop that was what they called "granite" finish - it looked like granite, complete with a huge "crack" in it. The only other time I ever saw one like that was when I saw Nevermore live in a bar that doesn't exist anymore, either. My Jackson was $1275 plus tax. The owner did the order for me, and he told me deposits were non-refundable, and it was stamped that on the receipt. The day it showed up in late November 1989, the owner called me and told me he would give me my deposit back if I didn't want it. Hell no! I absolutely love it, and I still have it to this day. It has a 4 digit serial number on the back of the nexk plate. I also got my free t-shirt, and my hand-signed letter from Grover. They also said I could have sent the back-plate back to them and they would engrave it for me, but I chose not to do that.
Remember seeing a granite model with a simulated crack in it that was filled in with black. Thought it was supposed to resemble an old tombstone? It was at the Melody Shop in Dallas in the 80’s? That Guitar left quite an impression on me!
Def Leppard is the reason I started playing! I’ve loved all their guitar players- Pete Willis, Phil Collen, And of course the RIFFMASTER Steve Clark. I had a silver metal flake super strat like Phil when I was in high school. Now I’m rockin a cherry burst Les Paul like Steve Clark.
Just pulled the trigger on my first Jackson. I bought the JS11....cannot wait until it arrives!! Huge Jackson fan... probably solely because of Randy Rhoades....
Unique to Jackson is that even the lower level guitars sound and feel amazing… so long as you avoid the ones without the built errors (unaligned necks, bad frets/nut etc)
I bought an '86 Jackson Performer at a pawn shop several years ago and still love to play it. It just has a heavy sound like nothing I've played before.
Dagan, 100% correct, you have to love it to pick it up. I can’t pass by my Tele without at least touching it. Now, if I scored one of the Rhoads I’m afraid the Tele would be permanently retired...so many choices, so little time!
Robin Crosby had a few custom Double Rhodes where the top fin matched the bottom. Then came the King V with a slightly smaller fins and bottom to meet normal specs as Robin was 6'4".
My favorite Jackson's were Robin Crosby's custom firebirds. I think you can still order a firebird from the custom shop, but last time I checked(which was more than a few years ago) there was still like a 2 year waiting list.
My 3rd guitar was and still is a Jackson Fusion XL Professional bought new in around 1992/1993. It was and still is the best sounding and playing guitar I’ve ever picked up. I paid around 650.00 new from guitar center. I played so much I had to change the strings every 2 weeks. Problem was I kept breaking string saddles. At the time 20 dollars per broken saddle was a lot of money. I found out what a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo was. Chinesiam! Pot metal. Crap. I saved and bought a real Floyd Rose tremolo and never had another problem. I still shred every day. Thanks for the video.
I love that you brought up the minion.. I have twin boys and if or when they decide to play I've already got a minion and a tiny hot pink squire strat set up on the way waiting for them... and a fun fact those micro guitars make great sleeper slide guitars you just set the strings super high and open tune them amd when you pull off some Duane Allman on them heads always turn...
I have 2 gibsons and 2 jacksons already but I just ordered a kelly 10/1 and youre right about making sure you choose a cool looking instrument that you want to play, it will make you want to pick it up and play it. It will inspire you. Youre not the first person, and on a jackson guitar, to say that. Great honest transparent review.
The Jackson SL2 Mick Thompson Signature has the best bridge design in the world: A FIXED Floyd Rose Style locking system. That is so groundbreaking and awesome! PLUS it looks fantastic - almost like a black or white tuxedo. I absolutely love this guitar and I play not only metal but any kind of music with it (had to change the PUs though). Very cool video, do more Jackson and Charvel please!!!
I love the Concorde. It’s beautiful. I know RR wanted more angular but I feel like the Concorde is perfect. The little bit more body on it makes the tone sound much fuller. Horns are a bit shorter too so it’s less likely to break off (but it will eventually lol)
I grew up in the 80s and can remember, virtually every rock guitarist playing a Jackson. I think it took Slash with his Les Paul too break Jackson’s grip on the 80s.
I Just bought the Jeff Loomis Signature Kelly, Tuned it to C Standard and its basically playing itself! awesome Guitars! My Girlfriend has a Soloist as her First Guitar and she is also super satisfied! can recommend the brand any day!
My first guitar was a Jackson PS2. Bought it at a pawnshop with money I got for christmas. Learned how to play guitar with it and bought several other Jackson’s for years after. I deviated into other brands and recently came back to Jackson. Got myself an Adrian Smith USA San Dimas. Very expensive, but very worth it. Man, that thing is one of the best guitars I’ve ever owned. The neck is incredible. The action and feel is perfect. I also got the Adrian Smith X series and for the price, it is a great guitar. Simply put in Gotoh tuners and an original Floyd Rose and you’re all set. I loved Jackson back in the day, and now I know I’ve always have.
I love Jackson guitars. I have an Adrian Smith signature with ebony fretboard USA 2021 model and a 2007 Jackson Dk2m inferno red which i upgraded with a real German made floyd rose and swapped out the JB humbbucker with a DiMarzio Tone zone. Both guitars sound amazing.
BIG Jackson fan! Great video loaded with info I never knew. Very impressed by a "neck thru" I played in the '80s. The price was high back then since they were all made in the U.S.A.
USA Jacksons are out of reach for most players today. And the quality hasn't exactly improved. Try to buy a good vintage one, which are most of them, and you'll need a whole lot of coin.
My first Jackson was in 2007, it was the JS30RR. I’ve been hooked on Jackson ever since that day, and though I’ve moved to the Kelly model as my personal favorite (partially due to not only its extreme shape but with so many high profile shredders like Marty Friedman, Jeff Loomis and Brandon Ellis using them), I can pick up any Jackson guitar and have an absolute blast with them. IMO best guitars on the planet. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I just would like to say I love your video and your personality. Keep up these amazing videos, coming from a first time Jackson owner, learning how to play metal. Rock on dude!!
I have my original " metal giraffe" jc68, .no neck pickup and a Japanese strat bucker in the bridge, 1 way switch on/ or on with a db cut. Still plays when it needs to be used. Great guitars.
I bought my first Jackson this year, and I’ve never been more inspired to play. I finally spent some decent money and bought the Pro Series King V KVTMG Snow White. The original James Hetfield KBJ. It is BY FAR the finest instrument I’ve ever played; and that includes several of the $5K-$6K Les Paul’s and PRS’s. My Jackson is built better than anything I’ve ever played, and sounds absolutely fantastic. 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
I have a fairly rare Jackson. It's a js1 Metalic bottle green performer. Was my first guitar and I got it for my 16th birthday in 1998 . So the last of the Japanese ones . It's still a fantastic axe upto this day. I own gibson, epiphone, Ltd and esp as well. Just that neck is freaking fantastic ❤.
Sup ya'll 🤘...I've seen this video a few times, this British dude does a great job. I suppose I keep watching this is because I absolutely love my..6 Jacksons..from a neon green Minion to a Arch top Dinky..they all play beautifully.
Fun fact the Warrior is designed around the head stock shape pointed in 3 different directions. The Kelly also is designed with the head stock shape in mind.
I just bought my first Jackson to put off my friend who thinks I have too many old man guitars like Les Pauls and Strats. But then again in the history of rock as time goes by the 80s pointy hot rodded guitars are becoming more vital. I have a DK3 in Eerie Dess finish. With a Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge and it rocks.
I still have my made in Japan (supposedly) Jackson Professional 1994 or so model I bought as a kid back then. It has EMG's in it now, but always plays amazing.
These are quite fascinating facts, dagan. I never knew that Jackson guitars was originally charvel. And that Jackson guitars was established when randy Rhoads asked Grover Jackson to design a guitar for him. And I’m amazed to learn that some of Jackson’s most iconic guitar were in fact designed by customers in the 1980s. Since we’re talking Jackson guitars, I do own a Jackson js dinky 7-string guitar and it sounds awesome for an affordable 7-string. And recently I’ve been thinking about purchasing a Jackson spectra 5-string bass in a silver burst finish. Especially since I’ve always wanted to purchase a bass in a silver burst finish. I did try one out a few years ago and I thought it sounded awesome. I’m thinking about getting one sometime soon.
I’ve just bought my first Jackson , a dk2 in purple sunset. Love it. Also own a mij charvel so cal amongst other guitars. Love the neck on the Jackson the guitar plays very well
In the 90s we had a Slayer cover band and were getting into Suffocation and Immortal, Sinister, So I wanted a Jackson Warrior but they were discontinued. I went to a custom guitar shop and he built me a neck through Warrior, fixed bridge, the beast still stays in tune. Built 1996 .
I just purchased yesterday a beautiful USA made Jackson Dave Mustaine signature V guitar. Man was it expensive and very hard to find and get. But I've always loved that guitar since the first time I laid 👀 on it when Dave Mustaine was just shredding on it. I'm just so glad it's in my collection already after many many years of trying to get one.
I got a soloist in satin red that I nodded with Seymour Duncan JB and Distortion pickups with coil split and I also upgraded the floyd rose saddles to steel and the sustain block with brass
I have 2 Jackson guitars, 1 Black Stealth Monarkh with gold hardward, and 1 Purple Mirror Marty Friedman signature model. Jackson guitars are fantastic. I love them
Randy flew on the Concorde from England back to the states on the Concord aircraft. He drew the shape on a napkin. Randy was 5' 6' . The original guitar had fairly bad upper fret access, it was an all maple design with a Charvel brass trem. It's pickup selector switch was on top of the body. It did have the same layout for volume and tone controls to his 74 Les Paul Custom which he adored. The original Concorde had a huge impact on the album Diary of a Madman penning the songs Over the Mountain , Believer, and Flying High again. The Concorde may have been quite a beast to play, Randy used it for the Blizzard tour form March of 1981 till hiss unfortunate passing in March of 82. He received the black Jackson just before the second leg of the Diary tour in December 1981. This guitar was used for one song per night Flying High. The Concorde was still used for Over the Mountain and Believer because of the songs need of tremolo and the 1/2 step down tuning used on the Diary record.
So the Kelly shape was the second guitar built under the Jackson name. You can see the Jackson guitar with serial number 02 on the video clip for the song "Where Angels Fear to Tread" by a little known Aussie band called "Heaven". The guitarist playing it is named Bradford Kelly. And yes it was designed pretty much in the same paper napkin manner as the RR. AND if you look closely you will see the first Kelly has a cool cut away on the bottom of the body near the strap holder and another on the bottom of the body and a Randy Rhodes inspired paint job. Also in the same video clip is Jackson number 03 being a black tele which was not designed by a customer so unfortunately it cannot be said that all body shapes were designed by customers. But when your customer is Mark Evans, the original bass player of AC/DC, I guess you kinda give him what he wants.

Mustaine plays Gibson now
Going to gigs in the eighties was awesome man. 🙌👌
Dio, Randy Rhoads, and Phill Lynott were taken from us far too soon. RIP
Sad that Bill and Ted played gibsons when Jackson was in their home town. San Dimas High School Football rules!
Yeah, I’m sure they was all marketing. Pay the most money to get featured in a movie.
Damn I feel sorry for you but think you made a stupid decision at the same time. That is such a Bummer
That sucks, but you shouldnt have been together with a woman that wont let you do what you love. It happened to me very recently too :)
That Jackson has torn strips out of Dagan's jeans
The headstock makes so much more sense now, being inspired by the Concorde.
Tommy Skeoch, ex Tesla and currently with Resist and Bite has always kept Jackson close to heart. Great new album with those guys if you haven't heard it yet! Rock on!
Hey Dagan love jacksons they got a special place in my heart.
Got my first Jackson at 14 years old. It was a Kelly KE-2. Instant love and my main guitars too this day.
Where could I find this set of pickups today? And is that the official names?
I have a king v with the same setup and its the zacc wylde set from emg. It's a beast and great fun.
@@thegooglearchipelago8253 LOL!!!!!!!!
Favorite Jackson player- Marty Friedman
Favorite Jackson guitar - Kelly
Jackson also currently has Jeff Loomis, Marty Friedman, Dave Davidson, Brandon Ellis, Chris Broderick, and Misha. They've always had such a presence in metal. My favorite neck shapes too. Not too flat but still shreddy.
But Jackson also made some goofs
Probably their biggest Fuckup was not signing Alexi Laiho and treating him like "just another customer" when his RR's got stolen
ESP reaped all the benefits from that
@@Nightdare haha for sure. People complain about the Fender acquisition but I think it was a great business move. Alexi would have been the perfect upcomer (at the time) to push the RR shape.
Andreas Kisser is my favourite Jackson artist tho
I believe Grover Jackson designed the Soloist body and the pointy headstock Jackson is so famous for. I love my custom shop Soloist.
Nice. I've got a soloist and tbh, the neck. Honestly, the neck.
The original Phil Collen signature guitar was the first guitar I really, REALLY wanted. Incredible unique shape.
Same. I promised myself I’d buy one if I ever made some real money and 20 years ago, I got my adrenalize custom!
Favorite Jackson player Adrian Smith.
I liked Adrian's Lado Earth guitars from Canada they are something else. He used those on Piece of Mind and Powerslave and possibly other albums.
Facts , Adrian is the best
Just pulled the trigger on my first Jackson. I bought the JS11....cannot wait until it arrives!! Huge Jackson fan... probably solely because of Randy Rhoades....
Unique to Jackson is that even the lower level guitars sound and feel amazing… so long as you avoid the ones without the built errors (unaligned necks, bad frets/nut etc)
Out of my whole guitar collection , my jacksons are super easy to play ..I love how they feel
My first guitar was a Jackson dinky, they hold a very special place in my heart
do u know a cheap jackson that can hold tune? it seems the cheap ones have shit tunners and the royse doesnt help
Been playing Jackson since the early 90s. Still have a KE2 and a Dinky Reverse. Love them both
I have two USA Jacksons. A dinky concept series and an RR1 V.. both still wail to this day!
Randy was 5’6
I think Vinnie Vincent took the second prototype Rhoads model (gold with black trim) which he used in the Creatures Of The Night era
You can fix any floyd
I love my Jackson Mick Thompson models. I have both the black and white versions. Beast of a guitar!!! Flawless!!!
Bought my first Jackson yesterday. Absolutely love it.
I love the Concorde. It’s beautiful. I know RR wanted more angular but I feel like the Concorde is perfect. The little bit more body on it makes the tone sound much fuller. Horns are a bit shorter too so it’s less likely to break off (but it will eventually lol)
I own a Jackson DINKY JS 11. The "cheaper" one....Sounds and feels better than some Guitars who costs twice as much...
I have the Rhodes minion, thing is great.
I recently picked up the Js32q greenburst, such a wonderful instrument being my first brand name instrument, what a great sound and playability!
Andrian Smith signature model is my dream guitar!!!!
I grew up in the 80s and can remember, virtually every rock guitarist playing a Jackson. I think it took Slash with his Les Paul too break Jackson’s grip on the 80s.
👉Well there were also lots of 80s metal guitarists/bassists who played BC Rich, Kramer, Dean, ESP, Hamer, and Washburns.
Slash was a BC Rich guy… but switched to counterfeit Gibson for Appetite recording!
also yngwie malmsteen’s strat
@@HighlanderNorth1 don't forget Jason Becker's Carvin.
@@anemonaloco
Yeah, and Ibanez
I Just bought the Jeff Loomis Signature Kelly, Tuned it to C Standard and its basically playing itself! awesome Guitars! My Girlfriend has a Soloist as her First Guitar and she is also super satisfied! can recommend the brand any day!
i just got a jackson RR with FR and wow. i love it. jackson is one of the best!! i got several jacksons now.
I have an SL2Q and I love it. Jackson is such a fun guitar!
Phil Collen AKA the most underrated guitarist ever.
Agreed buddy
As far as that scene goes hes up there. And jake e lee.
Oli Herbert from All That Remains played Jackson Warriors…I can see why too, when I bought mine it’s just a pure shredder! It also looks AMAZING!!
ESPs with the lawsuit Jackson headstocks from the 80s were awesome.
I have the exact as the js32 Q you picked up. I got it on sale for 299.00 CAD. It plays far better than my Solar Explorer.
If you were around in the 80s like you wish you’d be my age now. Trade ya. Lol. Great vid kid.
Thank you for the history lesson, Russell Brand.
I am jackson player and those guitars are awesome!
I just got a Jackson JS20 Dinky delivered to me today and it’s way better than my Squier for what I play as a begginer
I just would like to say I love your video and your personality. Keep up these amazing videos, coming from a first time Jackson owner, learning how to play metal. Rock on dude!!
I just picked up a js32q in purple burst. Its amazing. I absolutely love it! Recommend it to anyone wanting to shred on a budget!
Awesome video! Marty Friedman is my favorite. Just picked up a Jackson USA KE2 and it’s by far the best guitar I’ve ever put my hands on. Stunning.
I love jackson guitars! Currently own two basses a 4 and 5 string
I have my original " metal giraffe" jc68, .no neck pickup and a Japanese strat bucker in the bridge, 1 way switch on/ or on with a db cut. Still plays when it needs to be used. Great guitars.
Dagan be sounding like EVH with that Jackson Rhoads, going through that blackstar stack.
🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
I bought my first electric guitar a few months ago. Was gonna go with a Squier at first. But, a red Jackson JS12 stole my heart instead 💖
Got the Japanese DKMGT Black Forrest with EMG's.🎸Can't go wrong.
Sup ya'll 🤘...I've seen this video a few times, this British dude does a great job.
I suppose I keep watching this is because I absolutely love my..6 Jacksons..from a neon green Minion to a Arch top Dinky..they all play beautifully.
Got 2 Demmelition King Vs. Absolutely love them.
I got a rhoads Jackson rrjs33 absolutely love it I’m glad got it out of a pawn shop four years ago
13:50 “CHILDREN, I think they’re called” 😂😂
I just purchased yesterday a beautiful USA made Jackson Dave Mustaine signature V guitar. Man was it expensive and very hard to find and get. But I've always loved that guitar since the first time I laid 👀 on it when Dave Mustaine was just shredding on it. I'm just so glad it's in my collection already after many many years of trying to get one.
I got a soloist in satin red that I nodded with Seymour Duncan JB and Distortion pickups with coil split and I also upgraded the floyd rose saddles to steel and the sustain block with brass
I have a Jackson pro studio. You're right, they are very affordable for the quality they're built. I also have an old charvel
I have 2 Jackson guitars, 1 Black Stealth Monarkh with gold hardward, and 1 Purple Mirror Marty Friedman signature model. Jackson guitars are fantastic. I love them
The Rhoads is the best guitar shape in my opinion. Brutal elegance.
Thanks for all these great videos with really good information! Love It!
Awesome fact. I lost my favorite guitar to the pawn shop. It was a 90s dinky made in Japan with a DiMarzio pickup in the bridge.
I need to get the Mark Morton signature. I love that thing.
