My sister took me to guitar center the other day and pointed out a blue and tan omen 6 (guitar he's holding but blue) said it looked like the beach. I picked it up and started playing it. I didn't realize but she had pulled the price tag thing out and came back and was like "ready to go?" I said yeah because I didn't want her getting bored. I went to put the guitar back and she was like "what are you doing?". It turned out she bought it for me right then and there as an early birthday/Christmas gift.
I'm so happy with it and can't thank her enough. I've been playing a messed up squire strat for over a year now because I had to change the pickup selector but didn't do a great job so I only had 2 pickup settings. I couldn't find a wiring diagram that matched the way it was originally wired so I didn't wanna mess it up further.
I never really thought about Schecters until now. I've had various low end jacksons, ibanez, squire, and I must say, this guitar feels like the best quality I personally have ever played. It's given me a sense of inspiration. I was burned out on the uninspiring sound of the guitars I had over the years.
My sister gave me more than a guitar, but also my sense of enjoyment with music again.
Also it was setup amazingly. I didn't have to adjust anything. It has an inspection sticker on the back which to me is really awesome. I'd never seen that before.
Thats awesome man love stories like this my guitsr was stolen found a rare peavy nitro 1 at music shop in town having played since was only guitsr I had hoping to get another soon
Dude I think I bought the same guitar just yesterday. Thing is really good. I’d always been a Les Paul guy before. The c shape is an amazing compromise of classic and modern shapes for speed and comfort too.
You have a great guitar, trust me, I've been playing an Omen 6 extreme for years now
Freaking awesome story and sister!
If you’re sister ever wants another brother tell her to hit me up
LOVE Schecter (i have 7) probably because i'm a Leftie player. And Schecter takes care of us Lefties more than any other Guitar company!
True lol, i ordered my first one today (the omen 8 string) and i cant wait to play it
Lefties deserve their guitars, but I never quite understood it. My friend is leftie, and he plays a standard guitar
@@friendlyneighborhoodasianm912 just the lefties that cant learn to play guitar normally, aka the lazier ones
Yeah, I own 3 schecters because they just show so much support to left handed players.
Lefties are just an excuse for being sloppy, avoiding trying to actually learn how to use your hands. Your dominate hand is a construct, and lefties guitars are for cop outs. I don't know how every human isn't ambidextrous.
I get a rare form of pure joy watching this guy present these videos with nothing but enthusiasm and love for his trade. keep it up dude \m/
Right there with you. He is very enthusiastic, you got to love him for that. And he can play the heck out of a guitar. !!
Yea me too. I love his videos
Schecters are amazingly good guitars. No guitars ever play as well “out of the box” as Schecters!
I haven’t played my C 1 classic in over a month. I’ve been Playing a few others own. I plugged in the Schecter today and it sounds
So damn good. It’s just better. I love it
This is so true.
Thats cause they are set up in USA
@@heathwatsonguitar many brands are. Even Epis are.
@@kevincomellas4908 only the ‘better’ Korean ones aye?
The best thing about schecter is their ability to dish out new unique ideas with great execution/quality
Never a fan of modern colorful finishes but damn that amethyst finish is really something
I have expensive guitars, & less expensive guitars. One of my favorites is my Schecter C-1. I upgraded the cheap Floyd Rose special for a Fu Tone FU2 bridge, & replaced the nut. Now what was a good guitar is an amazing guitar. I keep it in D Standard. My Jackson SL1 USA is in standard tuning, & I like them equally for different reasons, but my Jackson is a $3K guitar, & the Schecter is like $1200-$1500 after my upgrades. However, if I had to say which gives you the best guitar for the money, Schecter wins all day.
Yes! I used to have a C1 with the vine of line inlay on the fret board, that guitar played as good as higher end Les Paul’s I’ve owned
FYI..Townsend had several Tele style Schecter. His favorite seemed to be the black one with Z+ pickups. I know this because I delivered these guitars after some tweaking to him and his guitar tech, Alan Rogan, personally at the L.A. Coliseum show with the Clash. Great show!
I’m lefty and schecter selection for lefties is awesome I currently have the omen 6 I would love to get their silver mountain one day those things are sick
Got 4 Schecters in my Studio, very reliable and solid builds. Thanks for the informative and enthusiastic presentation Dagan (and PMTV) Regards from South Africa.
My absolute favorite is my Schecter JL-7 Jeff Loomis signature guitar from his final year with schechter. Has Jeff Loomis signature Seymour Duncan pickups on it, and the fret work on this guitar, stainless steel of course, but the front work on this guitar is absolutely, without question, the nicest fretwork I've ever seen on a $1,200 guitar . Not even close . I've seen $4,000 guitars that weren't anywhere near this level of fretwork, and not just Gibsons. and fenders
I have the exactly the same guitar. Mine is equipped with Hip Shot fix bridge. I just love it.
I got a Schecter c-6 elite in silverburst. My first guitar got it used for 120 (chipped headstock) plays amazing. Totally recommend having one
My favorite Schecter is my Jerry Horton C-1 in red. Such a fun guitar. Love your videos, keep up the great work.
That was great. I have 2 Schecters and the build quality is amazing at every price range. If you’ve never checked them out definitely give them a second look.
Love my Schecter hellraiser. I’ve had it for years now and I can say it’s hands down the best guitar I’ve played along with my EVH
Same here! My Damien is my favorite behind my EVH guitars.
I bought a Hellraiser Deluxe around 12 years ago, played it for a long time before it was boxed up and put away. Recently took it back out, cleaned it up and changed the strings and man I can't believe I neglected it for so long. It's my favorite guitar still(even if it is the cheap version of the Hellraiser)
Couple of things:
1). You can´t talk about Schecter and not mentioning Mark Knopfler and his custom shop Schecter Strats and Superstrats.
2.). Schecter didn´t just make the Cloud guitar for Prince, but also many Tele and Strat/Superstrat custom shop instruments. Among them, some cool Strat style models with EMG´s and Floyds and a couple of Tele style guitars, modelled after his famous yellow Fender Tele.
3).Schecter isn´t the only guitar company, run by a guitar player. Paul Reed Smith of PRS also has a band and plays often live-gigs with them. I believe he even recorded an album. Oh and Michael Ciravolo is the president of Schecter, but the company is actually owned by Hisatake Shibuya, the CEO/founder of ESP Guitars. He bought the company, in the late 90's.
4).Schecter´s production models are made in S.Korea and Indonesia, but the more expensive ones have Made in USA pickups in them. And Schecter´s pickups are not just some cheapo stock humbuckers but good quality stuff,on the same level as a S.Duncan or DiMarzio pickup. In fact, Schecter was an aftermarket pickup company before they started building guitars, similar to ESP and they were the first company that produced after market humbucker pickups, with coil-split capabillity.
Jake E Lee played a blue Schecter Strat with Seymour Duncan Invader pickup when auditioning for Ozzy.
Cry
I have owned a lot of different guitars in the last 50 years. When my favorite for the last 20, a ESP 7 string imploded one night, I ordered a Schecter online. There was some anxiety involved, as I never bought a guitar sight unseen before. But, knowing their history and after I researched hard and long, I also had some confidence I made the right choice. Let me tell you...I never ever dreamed I could pull a guitar out of a box and be so happy with the set-up like I was. Add the stainless steel frets, Floyd Rose Series 1500 tremelo, Sustainiac pickup, carbon fiber reinforced neck and more...It was unbelievable! I have never been so much in love with a guitar, like I am now. The C-7 FR S Apocalypse in Red Reign is my match made in heaven!!!
RIP EVH
The Pete Townshend story is hilarious and so Pete. Been eye-balling a Schecter for over a year, probably a Omen 6 as it would be third (and hopefully last) guitar.
I own one it’s versatile as all hell the bridge gives you a great aggressive sound for riffing that can really push an amp and the cream and bass you get out the neck is super smooth i use it for cream and blues riffs the action is low and the frets are smooth I recommend it if you get it you might wanna lower the neck pickup a lil
I have a C-1 Platinum (satin black) and it is an amazing guitar. Spend a few more bucks up from the Omen 6... you won't regret it.
LAST ONE Haha LMFAO every one of us gets G.A.S every once in awhile :)
Enjoyed this. Thx. Their build quality and designs are superb. Decent prices too. Cheers.
My amber c-1 classic with the JB and jazz pickups, don't need anything else. RIP EVH, God must have a hell of a band up there in heaven.
I own Schecter Hellraiser C-8 and this is awesome guitar for everything - clean and overdriven it sounds perfect.
I also have my youth "guitar of dream", Gibson Les Paul, but after getting Hellraiser I play Gibson very seldom. It sounds good, but it is not for human. The neck is like showel handle, short scale and obsolete TOM-bridge, while Hellraiser though have wider neck, but it is incredibly convenient, it has good bridge which allows to regulate scale length and height of strings individually. So technically Gibson is an old Cadillac, huge, shining and inconvenient, while Hellraiser is an alien space battleship.
Learned so much from this video and it makes me appreciate my C-1 Blackjack that much more! Currently my #1 guitar - Seymour Duncan Blackouts, 24 frets, ebony fretboard, full sunburst body/neck/matching headstock, locking tuners, full body binding, set-thru neck joint. Absolutely everything I want in a guitar!
I plan on buying a c1 blackjack and I’m really looking forward to it
Blackjack ATX C1 FR ... Absolute best guitar I've ever played.
@@tgrzadziel1975 Yup, I have the hard tail string-thru and ever since purchasing I've never had a need to upgrade. I bought mine in 2012 and it's still my number 1. 🤘🏼
I was in a very low place in 2013. I had moved to New Orleans in late '09 and within less than a year had to pawn (and never get back) my Epi Goth G400. It took 4 years before I had the chance to get something new with a measly 400$ and was trying to find a superstrat with an old school 80s Ibanez RG neck profile. I spent about three months combing all the local pawn and music shops and avoiding GC. Eventually I went in to GC and played everything new I could off the walls trying to make up my mind. I went to the used wall and when I picked up the "custom made for guitar center" C-1 Platinum... it was like I had found the guitar I had wanted when I was 13 years old in 1984. It was perfect. I've made a few tweaks like filing the tusq nut for 12-56 strings, filing and smoothing the bridge and saddles, and replacing the jack. Other than that it's been a beast. Since then I inherited a 95 MIM Strat turned superstrat which I use for big black/butthole surfers noiserock, and recently I bought a Squire Tele to beat to shit for old school Clash/Minutemen twang. The Schecter though is my brutal industrial-doom crunch hammer. I will never pawn another guitar again.
I feel you. I had that Epiphone too. I may buy another in the future. (Sold mine to a friend, now I miss it, ha ha)
Got a schecter solo II custom. Aged black satin. Beautiful and great sounding. I would put it up against a les Paul.
Just picked up a lefty Omen 6 in a pawn shop for $200. First time I've ever seen or played one, and I bought it on the spot. Felt and played like a higher end guitar, and the pickups are no slouch! I played till my fingers almost bled!
I've got a great story for you. It was at one of the mid-80's Greater Southwest Guitar Shows in Dallas, TX. I was wearing my Yngwie shirt from the Rising Force tour. I'm not sure if it was it the Schecter booth or not but I got Billy Sheehan. Talas had opened for Yngwie on the Rising force tour. I think he was kind of surprised to find a real Talas fan in Texas. A guy from Schecter was listening in on our conversion. He tells me he's got something I had to see. We go back behind the booth and opens this guitar case and there's a strat type with Yngwie's signature on it. He told me it was a prototype and Yngwie never took possession of. He explained that it some new kind pickup system on it. Now I could be mistaken on how he described the how the pickups worked on this guitar. As I recall him telling me it had a lone coil hidden under the center pickup that could combine with any of the single coil pickups to make them humbuckers. At that time I'd never heard of stacked pickups before and if I had I probably would have understood what he telling me much better. He never mentioned any plans for making a production model for Yngwie. I don't recall him mentioning a dummy middle pickup. I know Ritchie Blackmore has a dummy middle pickup in his strats. I would doubt the thistle is something Yngwie would have had done. He had adopted scalloped fretboard from Blackmore. I believe he offered to me for $1000.00. I had recently blown my guitar allowance for the next several years on a Jackson Rhodes (and I still have it). I was a little weary of buying a guitar with prototype pickups that the artist it was made for never took possession of. I had this guitar was a one and done. I didn't know the YJM and Schecter were going to continue to work together. In fact, I just learned this watching this video
I can't say enough good things about Schecter. I don't even have a high end one, just a demon 6, but i absolutely love it. I play it through an Orange amp and i can get any tone i want from blues to metal and it plays smooth as butter! I've played and owned epiphone, squier, peavey, ibanez, esp, jackson... And none have compared to the schecter for the price.
Hell i've played gibsons and fenders in the store and didn't like them as much. Can't wait to save up and buy an FR-S or something one day!
It'a a shame they're underappreciated. My friend is diehard gibson/epiphone and even he said "damn this is pretty nice" when he played mine.
Dang my first guitar is a schecter guitar research c-7 fr-s apocalypse 7-string electric guitar red reign I'm a noob lol but its beautiful
Ok dagan!! How are you reading my mind!? This is the third time! I was looking at the sun alley super shredder this week and here you go with a video after I think about it
Yeah Mark Knopfler played Schecter Strat and Tele style guitars in the 80's.
What a great potted history thanks Dagan & PMT - I was with a band last year and Michael recorded some guitar for an ep we did, he is friends with one of the singers. A surreal experience I'll never forget . Didn't meet him it was all done via email but what a nice guy.:)
I got me a C1 exotic splatted maple on the way to my house... can't wait to get my hands on it...😁😁
I’m primarily a bass player. I got EB’s and Fenders. I’m looking to pick up a guitar. I was leaning Gibson, but I’ve been seeing so many good things about Schecter, I think I want an apocalypse solo II.
Robert Smith is my favorite Schecter signature artist. I love his Ultracure models, especially the Bass VI
Nick Johnston! Shoot-Whoot! Just bought the black satin solo II, LP... I can’t wait!! Bought a low end, C model years ago and it’s a badass especially for the price points on these. Brilliant!
The schecter reaper is actually so far the best guitar I've ever played. I own 3 schecters and it's safe to say they're my favourite
My first job after high school in 1980 was working for an industrial tool supply company making deliveries. One of the businesses I delivered tools to, was Schecter. At the time they were a tiny, hole-in-the-wall machine shop in North Hollywood (not Van Nuys). On a side note, I also delivered tools to Remo, also in North Hollywood. I got to know the guys at Remo and one day the production manager gave me a set of Roto toms. Back then I was a drummer. Now I play the guitar. Too bad I wasn't a guitarist back then or I could have scored some cool stuff from Schecter too. Lol!
Schecter best bang for your buck by far! Awesome finishes and quality.
Keith merrow is a beast. Love the PT to play meta on a tele style lol.
Been playing for about 14 months. Have Epiphone LP, Schecter Omen Extreme FR, and 4 inexpensive but nice electric guitars. Recently I hit a growth spurt in my playing..I play every day. I almost sold the Schecter a while back because I didn't like the Floyd. But I kept it. I recently bought a Fender Blues Junior LTD amp and have been playing till my fingers bleed and my ears don't work. Now that I'm really playing...I would play the Les Paul or strat for a while and think ya, this neck profile is the best, I love this guitar...then I pick up the Schecter and immediately I'm playing better, the neck feels PERFECT, and the sound blows everything else away. I won't even say "for the money the Schecter..." no, regardless of everything, Schecter guitars are the best. Period! Buy one. Don't hesitate, don't ponder, just pull the trigger.
Bought my first schecter in 87. It was a tele with a strat neck. I was told it was a Chandler neck. It was a hss . I replaced the H with a JB . It had three knobs and a 5 way switch all on a classic tele plate. I gave the guitar to my brother (RIP) in 89. He sold it at some point. I still have pics of me playing it at a gig. It was a one of a kind. Great playing guitar.
Picked up a Schecter Demon 6 a couple of months ago love it! Now saving for Schecter Solo II Custom.
Hellraiser c-1 is still my fav + most comfortable guitar ive ever owned
Just ordered a white one. Cannot wait...
@@omnamahshivaya6299 no regrets. Do take care of the fretboard though, make sure its nice and oily 👍
I have 4 Schecter guitars and they are each so nice. They play like a good guitar should play. Plus I have my eyes on another that looks as good as the ones I have. They each have there own voicing too...Great guitars Schecter!!!!
I have a Schecter Hellraiser hybrid with floyd rose and Sustainiac in Ultraviolet. Absolutely gorgeous guitar and it feels and sounds awesome. Not to mention the Sustainiac is a hoot.
I've ordered one, mid November it's supposed to be here, can't wait.
I just bought my first Schecter and just learned what the PT stands for in this video! I love Pete Townsend! Good thing. :)
I own 3 Schecter guitars. I love them. Long ago, it was Jerry Horton of Papa Roach that got me into them. They weren’t my favourite band at the time, but I was obsessed with his sound and playing. I wish I could get one of his signature guitars. My first one was a budget C-1, which I still own, 20 years later.
My wife bought me a Syn Gates Custom 3 years ago for Father's day. Still love it and it is surprisingly a very comfortable guitar to sit and play. Schecter Guitars are some of the best ones made especially for the money. I have 3. The Syn Gates one, A 2020 Apocolypse, and an Evil Twin. All play different, but all play extremely well
Liked and subscribed! Why was I not subscribed? I've been watching your demos for years, and I just realized I wasn't subscribed!
I have a Schecter C1 Plus FR (Floyd Rose) in Vintage Sunburts that I bought in October of 2002. I know it came in Cherryburst, and Natural. The Natural finish was the only one that came with the matching headstock veneer. I have looked for one for years and never seen one anywhere on any guitar site, or store. I can't even find mention of the C1 Plus FR anywhere on the whole of the internet.
They have awesome customer service. I bought a floor model at GC. I felt the FR posts were too worn. Dropped an email just for measurements, they asked for my address instead. They sent me new posts free of charge.
I started playing in 1977. In 1979, THE Strat to play was a Schecter. There was one in a shop in my part of Australia. We used to go and stare at it when I was 17. We stared and dreamed of owning it.
Brother I’m disappointed that you didn’t mention Kenny Hickey’s legendary Type O Negative green Schecter.
I have a Hendrix model strat clone made by Schecter in 1985. Lou Reed is my favorite Schecter player. He used them for awhile. My Schecter plays and sounds great.
My favorite Schecters are still my original 1978ish Van Nuys model "T-style" built at Rudy's in NYC with walnut or rosewood body (never figured out which) and birdseye maple neck. Brass hardware, 1/4 pounder pickups, push pull pots and Schaller tuners. I still own it. And perhaps the same spec'd model in a Dream Machine that I have yet to own.
We can’t forget about Mark Knopfler’s schecter guitars, the burst dream machine, walk of life tele, the black schecter tele, his two red dream machine guitars, and the blue schecter dream machine. Brought them in 1980, and 1984 and used them for until the end of Dire Straits
Oh wow cool. I'm gonna go down the google rabbit hole about Knopfler/Schecter now thank you very much. haha
Great video Dagan! Please do more awesome fact videos
Schecter E1 Koa. My lovely wife bought it for me last Christmas. Simply amazing guitar!
RIP EVH........
Syn gates is the single most stupid name for anyone, ever.
I have an E-1 Koa as well, great guitar (and gorgeous wood)

I wish Gibson had a musician as a president.
Even with a musician, Gibson would find a way to keep producing overpriced crap.
@@shanewalton8888 and they would sue any other country that tried to have the same type of president.
As a novice learning guitarist. I do own one Schecter. A limited-edition (1 of 6 for the store). Mine was the last on the Rack at the Store.
DIAMOND SERIES DCGL EXCLUSIVE HELLRAISER C-7 Multi Scale Trans Purple Left-Handed 7-String
I replaced the factory strings with a special set I have made up from the Elixir Polyweb line. My Serial # W18031015.
It was the only way I could get the MS fretboard in a lefty version of most any manufacturer. I really wasn't looking for the seventh string... but sometimes it is fun to muse with.
I bought a Schecter SVSS in Sea Foam Green and a Tele body shape . It's got Jumbo SS Frets 2 EMG 70'S IN THE BRIDGE AND NECK position 3 way Toggle switch and a Fantastic Floyd Rose Trem System . They were selling for $1,100 or somewhere in that range but I caught a sale and got it for $629 dollars a total Steal . I have had all the Top brand Guitars out their over the years . This is the Guitar that I had always wanted . I may buy another Guitar or two but I like this one so much it's never leaving my hands . Cannot go wrong with Schecter Period !!!!
In 2015 I worked two jobs 7 days a week during the summer to save up enough for a hellraiser c1 fr in trans purple with a hard case and a peavey vypyr vip3. I loved that guitar Soo much. It was beautiful. However, my sons birth had complications and our hospital bills were insane so I had to sell it. But we just recently finally paid everything off so I'm looking forward to saving up again so I can rebuy that guitar. Can't wait :)
My first Schecter was a Hellraiser Special, now I also have an SLS Elite Evil Twin. Both amazing. Eventually I want to get the Omen Elite 7.
Most of my guitars are schecters. I have a syn gates custom-s and it is not only my favorite signature guitar, it is my all time favorite guitar. I've tried so many different brands but I keep coming back to schecter.
I bought one and didn’t realize while playing it in the store that I didn’t like the convex back of the neck! It was so skinny I had to contort my huge hands to play it ! Love the flat wide wizard style necks!
Great stories and facts. You always do an excellent job!
Still got my original Black Schecter Tele. Yes they were called Saturns. Bought it in the 80s, here in the North East UK. There was Schecter dealer in Newcastle, (I think it was called Guitar Trader), that had all the Schecter parts and also early Schecter guitars.
Awesome facts, dagen. I never knew that yngwie malmsteen had a schecter guitar made for him. I knew about prince’s guitars, but never knew about yngwie’s schecter guitars. Other than that, I own a schecter stiletto extreme bass and an A7 guitar and they sound phenomenal. I’ve been recording my music with these instruments in years and they always sounded amazing. They’re definite keepers.
I haven't played for years. I have a battered Washburn RS-8V in the attic that's seen better days but have been looking around in the past few months to see if something might bring me back to picking up a guitar again. For a long time, I had my eye set on one of the cheaper Jackson or Ibanez guitars but yesterday I came across a £450-ish Schechter and it's a thing of beauty with a floyd rose and coil splitters. Time to save up.
I have the same purple Omen 6 Extreme that you have hanging on the left in the video. The bridge pickup was replaced with a Dimarzio Dominator.
I got my Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder in surf green last August for my birthday. I have been wanting one since they came out. It came in tune and set up spot on. It is the best guitar I own. I use it live and in the studio. I love the Floyd Rose/FU Tone 1500 hot rod bridge and the EMG Vintage 70 pickups. Best neck in the business.
Their omen models are some of of prettiest finishes. That magenta one in the back made me a schecter fan the first time I picked myself out a guitar. The exclusive PMT finish is even more stunning. Clever marketing to make such a well priced entry model so freaking beautiful. Get em sold and hooked on schecter when they're new to the scene lol
They stand out even more in the low price range under $500 because I feel like schecter just puts more work into their low ends than many others on average
Love when I hear prince mentioned in guitar vids. I don’t think he gets enough respect as a guitar player
Tempest Custom Split Crown 2007, C1 7 Active Gates of Hell 2012, C1 FRS 1666 and a Solo-ii Custom 2017 So far. Can't wait to get my E1 someday too.
Also good sir you missed the lore about Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, but you covered some really cool; stuff i hadn't known of.
Great video as Always
SWEET video! Love facts about Schecter!
At the moment my favorite Schecter guitar is the E-1 Apocalypse
Just ordered the Apocalypse PT in Red Reign yesterday. Saw one at guitar center, picked it up and instantly fell in love. Can't wait for it to get here.
My favorite artist is the lead singer from cross fade he wrote some really good music with that guitar line. I think that is all his band ever used was that brand. He probably had a a sponsorship from that company.
Bought a Bare Body Schecter Stratocaster made from some Exotic Wood 30 Years ago, +/- 10 years, thought they only made parts back then. Recently checked them out, and doesn't seem they offer the Exotic Body's anymore.
Last Year found a 2000 Schecter, Diamond Series, Custom 4 with EMG Hz pickups at a Pawn shop for $200.
They probably thought something was wrong with it, they didn't realize it had Active Electronics with a Dead Battery. Very nice Bass. Do you know anything about their Bare Body's, Years?, Woods? Keep up the good Work. Stratmando
I own an '86 or '87 made PT Saturn from what Schecter refer to now as "the Dallas era" before Shibuya bought the company and spared them from certain bankruptcy. Mine is the Fenderish off-white with black binding and hardware and a proprietary FR-trem and their SuperRock humbuckers with coil taps, and Tele-headed maple neck with a beautiful figured rosewood board. Only the action has ever been adjusted on this guitar- the neck has never been touched. Awesome.
I have a 2008 C1 Classic in Blue, The 2009 C1 S/H in red, and a 2015 C1 Platinum in black. all great guitars. ( all bought used)
Yeah, newly hooked. I got an Omen Extreme 6 with the purple quilt top a few months ago and can't put it down. After a little set up work it's the best playing guitar I've ever owned. It's got Seymour Duncan's '59 p'ups. Love it so much, I ordered a C-6 Elite in aquaburst from GC, arriving tomorrow. So exciting. But seriously, the build quality is excellent for the price point.
I have a white Pete Dee signature. A PT body with a Bigsby tremolo and some seriously cool inlays. I love that guitar
Great review, the best one I've seen you do. I was just reflecting on that fact that I bought my only Schecter guitar from PMT, absolutely brilliant.
I enjoy watching your videos, I have a couple of Schecter's, a CR6, omen extreme, I'm about to get a hellraiser hybrid FR S in ultra violet, could you do a video with the hellraiser hybrid. Thank you
I just got a Reaper 6 FR-S and I can’t believe how awesome it is. It’s sick.
They make amazing guitars. I have a tempest ( my favorite shape , yes I also love BC Rich Mockingbirds and Fender Jaguars - I like the offset bodies) hellraiser hybrid. It's like a Les Paul on steroids. Love it.
I have a Schecter PT in black with a redwood fretboard. I bought it in 1987 and it has "Strategy" (as well as Schecter) on the headstock.
Own a few Schecter guitars, great quality. A 7 string with the sustaniac as well. Great company. Checked out that “Beauty in chaos” CD. Awesome music. Thanks for the great videos and music suggestions. Keep on rockin!!🤘🤘🤘
awesome show!!!! more shows like this one love it!!!!
Just purchased a SLS E1 Evil Twin with the fishman pickups. Such an amazing rig
Keith merrow's schecter 🔥🔥🔥
My two favorite signature Schecter guitars would be the syngates and the Zacky vengeance awesome guitars love them
My firts “good guitar” was a Asia made schecter diamond series low end, but for me was a high Quality guitar, i dont remember the model but maybe was a C-1 Style guitar Schecter Diamond series. I remebered like it was yesterday. I felt so good, and it looked incredible! Now i have a vintage gibson and Fender but my first schecter always be in my heart jajaja
I love my schecters. I just bought another one as well as a Taylor acoustic
Schecter were never really on my radar until recently. I went into PMT Manchester looking for a new 7 string and the guy handed me the Omen Elite 7. Spent about half an hour on it and it was just lovely, from finish through to sound and playability. Tried a couple of Jacksons and went straight back to the Schecter. I’m hoping to pick the Elite up soon. I just wish they didn’t use TOM style bridges on half their range, I’m absolutely not a fan of that bridge.
My favorite guitar and artist with them has to be Rob Scallon! He's such a good positive force in music and his guitars, especially his 8 string have some really cool ideas
My very first electric is that beauty on the left :D when I held it I was so happy and it plays amazing
I have an old Schecter strat body+Schecter trem. The body is made out of bubinga, 2 piece, and is one heavy son of a gun. I put a Warmoth neck on it; Goncolo Alves w/ ebony fretboard.
Also have C1 Classic, great guitar especially for the money.
My kid brother and I both own a C-1 Exotic
His is natual, and mine is stained
The flame maple tops are incredible!
Is that the Fisher Price version you're playing?
How tall are you? My C-1 is a big guitar and it looks like a ukulele on you.
Also, Are the Pete Townshend models the ones used on the Eminence Front video?
Could never quite make out the headstocks on the video.
The one in the Eminence Front video is the one that Dagan referenced where Pete put one together with a Schecter body and neck.
