I like it when you're used to all this pretty orchestral stuff and suddenly a really grungy garage band sound is thrown in there unexpectedly, that's when I jam out the hardest. I'd rather have awesome covers like this one saved for special occasions

A friend of mine has been trying to get me into destiny and sent me a playlist of Destiny OSTs to listen to and this was there. I recognised the name immediately. DOOM and DOOM Eternal proved music makes the game complete. The fight with Sepiks in D2 felt far more engaging and badass with those guitars screaming and drums blasting in the background. Not that all Destiny music should turn into metal, but having those elements in a boss fight definitely make it far more memorable than other fights of late.
I had no idea this was a fan made song until today, I just want to say thanks for making one of my favorite songs in the entire franchise, and congrats on making it into the game, you deserve it! (or I guess I should say games, since the strike was brought into D2 now, which is what caused me to find out it was fan made)

I played this strike for the first time (in D2) yesterday and I was blown away and hyped that this started playing. I had no idea it was actually added into the game. I guess it only happens in Vanguard playlists because I tried to queue it up normally and didn’t get this version (or is it random?). I guess only being able to hear it rarely via playlist just makes me more excited when I actually get this strike 🤘

The defualt music for sepiks plays in the playlist, while this version is played during the Nightfall
