    I bought by curiosity an older HT6 version a month ago which was on a heavy sale.
    It has very nice tones, killer palm mute sounds, and that's truly the most comfortable guitar I've ever played, way over other guitars twice its price.
    Now I can't appreciate playing my Gibson LP anymore. No joke.

      It's pretty nice, I wanted one ,I got it for way less ,its crazy how the notes are so clear, I wish it had some things : Hipshot bridge and tuners
      Stainless frets
      I might put those things on there ,not sure,if the frets ever wear out.

    The flat blue with roasted maple looks awesome. I bought the older Gunmetal Gray HT6 used last year. Sold it 2 months later. It was decent but it didn’t feel versatile enough for my own use. I’d prefer a coil split over the tone cut. Position 2 & 4 weren’t as bright as I wanted although they were decent in their own right. Ideally I’d keep the pickup selections the same but swap the tone kill with a coil split for full single coil bridge and neck and put in a different set of pickups.

    • @greekfreak1980
      @greekfreak1980 5 лет назад +1

      You could custom build a Kiesel Aries for less money then the USA model,complete with roasted neck/fretboard,ss-frets,glow in the dark markers,Hipshot USA fixed bridge or tremolo(OFR and Evertune are also available) and Made in USA pickups,not that cheapo Jackson ones.(you can even send in your pickups of choice and they will install it for little extra fee)
      An Aries 6string with a solid finish(no fancy exotic top) Hipshot Contour fixed bridge and roasted maple neck goes for 1,300 USD and that´s a Made in USA custom build guitar.

      A superstrat,is a superstrat.

    • @MK4vDubbin
      @MK4vDubbin 5 лет назад +2

      greekfreak1980 I wouldn’t buy any signature guitar at that price point, but I completely disagree that a superstat is a superstrat. I had a $2500 Vader built. It felt like a $1200 guitar with fancy top woods to be honest. Well built but incredibly unremarkable. The Hipshot trem is built like a tank but feels unrefined and the arm retention design is just poor. No rolled fret board edges and overall felt it was missing hand finishing like you would expect from any other guitar at that price point. I think Kiesels at $1,200 are a nearly unbeatable value but anything over that is a waste. A Kiesel is not even in the same realm as a Suhr, Tom Anderson, USA ESP, etc.

      Maybe it was just the ones at Sam Ash in Hollywood. I played a bunch of his signature guitars. the USA made ones were absolutely beautiful as far as craftsmanship and looks. I just preferred the way the 800.00 dollar one felt vs the 3000. It played better to me and the sound wasn't that much different. Maybe I am used to sub 1200 dollar guitars who knows. Or the imports I played were set up really nice. So if I am tricking people I say go and play them and be your own judge. I don't want to mislead anyone with my personal opinion on a guitar.
