Thanks for making it happen! I remember way back when you posted that first USA “So-Cal,” I needed it. This is far more realistic for all kinds of folks, including myself.
Ayy, you finally got in the band after doing all those covers? Congrats. I hear the previous guitarists was a bum. Always showing off his cars, never his music ;)
I preordered this and it finally arrived last week at the shop to ship out. Shoulda been here this past Saturday but it’s being delayed and the anticipations killing me lol 😭
Stoked you have such a vision on the instrument. Hope your instrument stays in production bcs you connect to the userbase so well. Thank you Mr Mansoor, thank you Jackson, thank you guitarbuilders at Jackson. You built some awesome guitars.
Love this version of Strat. I always accidentally hit the volume knob when playing and love sacrificing a tone knob for a better layout makes sense. Love the color combination and versatility possibilities. I don't care that its a Jackson Brand, My made in Japan Strat (from 1980s) is excellent quality. I've used Gotoh tuners but never a Gotoh brodge/trem. I'm not a shredder, but I'm a bender but have never played a 20" fingerboard. Look forward to trying it out someday!
Sounds great. Does it stay in tune better than a strat? Does it come in more colors? Will they make a 7 string? Love the neck, knob location, and side dots! Well shit, now I need to trade up.
Great looking guitar man. Learned on a strat. Had to fight that thing every step of the way. Glad someone made one easier to play. One thing about a strat... It's a damn solid guitar. Nice job😉
Curious, does this use the BKP 550k CTS pots? And if so, are the single coils going through a resister to bring it down, or are they going straight into the 550k pots? The output of the trilogy single coils is pretty high, so would be very interested in how they are wired up. Is there RW/RP on the middle pickup for the noise cancellation on switch position 2 and4?
Picked one of these up, very impressed, except two things, came without a hardshell case, for the money was disappointed it didnt come with a hardshell case, it came with a soft gig bag foamed square from GC. next, the neck pick up cant play a harmonic on the low fat E and A string at the fifth fret. disappointed on that, for bare knuckles. lol probably just a height adjustment on pups. other than that. it is nice guitar. good specs minus the case that didnt come with it, and the pick up being dead or not adjusted properly. gotta feeling i got jipped on the original stuff that comes with it too . sux.
HARD disagree about the matching headstock looking better. The natural headstock on Misha's original looks WAY better. (Side note: other than that I love every other design decision, from the removal of the third knob to the choice of hardware. Definitely putting this on my list to save up for).
Agreed, especially with the roasted maple fretboard, makes it look like a really low quality bright brown rosewood fretboard with that matching headstock. If it had an ebony fretboard, a matching headstock would work alot better.
If you want the relic you can easily have somebody do it once you've bought it. Rather it not be reliced and have option to do that, then have the only choice be relic
I really like the axe man but... WTF ON THE PRICE POINT OF THESE ? 2700$ for a japanese Strat ? 😂 Who the fuck would spend that much money for that ? Prefer by far custom a Charvel for that Price and buy an AMP
finally a guitar thats not a 7 string P.O.S. .. if you cant do it on a six string then you are a bass player. nothing against bass accept when theres a bass string on my guitar.

So stoked to finally be able to put this out. I have been using mine all over the new Periphery and Haunted Shores writing sessions!!
Thanks for making it happen! I remember way back when you posted that first USA “So-Cal,” I needed it. This is far more realistic for all kinds of folks, including myself.
This is proof that you can never go wrong with a "strat". Seeing that headstock is like having your heros with you!
You’re doing gods work man. That’s the perfect modern Strat. Matching headstock and roasted maple. Lordt. Gotta ‘86 MIJ this could retire!

fender owns jackson, why would they sue themselves?

Finally moved the upper volume knob out of the way, thank you!
Right? Freakin hate the volume right up the ass of the bridge pickup
Omfg yyyeeeeeeessssssss
YES! The volume knob always gets in my way when muting.
I take mine out and use a 3/8" plug from the hardware store
This is the coolest Strat every built. When I first saw MM rocking this, I hoped they would do a production run.
I play a lot of country gigs and for some reason I want this. :-)

I CANT FOCUS, THAT DAYTONA IS JUST STUNNING
I think most guitars should have a matching headstock, great aesthetic choice
I really like the color, keeping it classic, great work.
That blue is stunning

7 strings are not for guitar players. play a harp if u need more strings.

Misha can make a $99 guitar sound amazing! I would totally buy his piece tho!

It's weird watching Misha play such a "traditional" looking guitar. I think we're all getting older and going back to the "classics". It's very cool.
This guitar looks so dope, hopefully i will have the chance to own it some day!
Great color choice Misha
Does it have the Heavily Rolled Fingerboard? I hope so...
Wow that's nice man! 👌
Beautiful
Oh no, a strat model, Misha's getting old D:
Everyone needs a dad guitar
jeez lol im 17 and about to get a strat and you made me feel old
Not everyone need an edgy headless guitar 😉
top shelf tones 👌👌

Nice looking Axe , reminds me of my first guitar 72 Kalamazoo Baby Blue.
Might check these out. Thx.
perfection!! i want it!
Misha is the best man 🤘❤
Such a gorgeous guitar and looks so much better when it's not relic'd!
That Rolex Daytona is stellar
Damn I love it and got to get one!

Why did it got discontinued?
Looks super nice. If could choose, I’d have mine with the headstock matching the color of the neck, though.
What would be the price?
Wow that Rolex Daytona though
the original custom version looks so much better. That matched blue head stock looks nasty.
The founding father of djent has become the blues dad he was always destined to be.
shell pink for me
Pink pls!!!
Was the guitar out of tune for the latter half of the video???
You guys should really bring back pearl yellow warriors or some warriors with the slanted fretboard ends and pickups (like the old 90s ones)
20” radius on a strat, that’s just perverse.
Well. It's Jackson branded. And it's a sign model. Free to do whatever they want.
So rad
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice Daytona
It looks like its ready for a strats djent video
Misha Mansoor!!!
I can't help but think this should have the Charvel logo on the headstock
do it in Ferarri Red and I'm buying it
Very nice, unfortunately I cant afford a $2600 guitar at the moment.
I just wish it had the relic
If it did, then this comments section would be full of people having a cry about it being relic'ed.
If you want the relic you can easily have somebody do it once you've bought it. Rather it not be reliced and have option to do that, then have the only choice be relic

@@MajorDook1 yup, it would suck if it was relic'ed imho, relic and Poly dont mix imo.
@@elevenAD a non-relic nitro finish would've been the better alternative if he wanted to go that route imo
djenting on a strat seemed impossible till i saw this
Love everything about this guitar except that matching headstock just looks weird on a strat.
That was a very "corporate" intro tho.
It was just short and to the point, I’ve seen plenty of try-hard intros that are far more annoying despite being decidedly “non-corporate”.
@@CatmanJimbo It is a different thing for me when it is Misha himself.

Pretty rough pricing considering the economy of your fanbase. Could get a legit JEM with the same pup suite for a fraction of the price bro.
5.2k aud though... oof. I like it, but not that much haha
Id love if this had a natural headstock
Sleep Token brought me here 🫶

22 frets? Really...?
If only there were different colours...
The painted headstock make the look cheap. If someone buy, instantly fix and sand that paint of.

you cant djent with a strat
Misha;
Depend on who hires you...
If it had 24 frets it would have been a million times cooler. It’s just another strat… I do like strats though.
Why spend 2700$ on this when you can get a better looking and sounding guitar for quarter the price?
I had the exactly same thought. And to me looks so weird to see someone djent on a Strat, specially in this color.
A better looking and playing guitar for roughly $650?
