It's crazy how hard things are to find in different areas. I can find a lot of BT and ER picks. But the next easiest for me to find is WFP. The 107 and the Stagg picks are both incredibly hard to find in my area.

I live in north Georgia ... in the past four years, I've only seen one of these as a store pick, and it was regular BT. BT products in our area are limited to BT and Eagle Rare ... the rest you occasionally run across but they're wildly overpriced. It's okay ... ER is my favorite bourbon anyway 🙂
SE TN here and I can get BT semi easy , ER on occasion but everything else is insanely priced or ridiculous amt of points IF we see it. Store in Chattanooga has a BT store pick right now.
@@melodd60 As it happens, I was in Cleveland, TN on business a couple of weeks ago. I noticed a decent looking package store and since I had time, I pulled in. I was surprised to find they had a fairly full collection of Buffalo Trace products (all of the EH Taylor as I recall), even a couple of BTAC items. I got excited because the prices seemed to be more or less retail, but then I realized they were for points only, as you say 🙄 But I did find a High West bottle that isn't available in my area, so I walked away happy anyway.
I worked in the Greeneville TN area a few years ago and BT was in several stores in adjacent towns like Morristown & Johnson City. I got Blanton’s for retail when I bought a Lagavulin Offerman and a Sazerac Rye. The owner also had Eagle Rare 375 ml for $19.99.
@@DaveNorton-yi5ix - very common but the least amount of points with lots of store picks is Red Hot Liquors in Cleveland. Rupin is a bourbon guy, so as the owner you get some unique store picks.
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow no joke, the only Buffalo Trace products I've ever found at a retail store are the standard BT, Weller Special Reserve, and BT Kosher Wheat
In Minnesota, I would say Buffalo Trace standard bottle is 2x hard to find and everything else in that lineup is 5x hard to find. Oh wait... these are store picks?! Oh, ok. They are all 6x hard to find in Minnesota.
Geesh that is rough. We base content specifically to our market. Virginia allocation is usually BT products so if we hunt, the chances can be pretty good. Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow Completely understand! You have to go with what's available in your area. The distribution is crazy. It's funny I can't find this stuff at home, but I've traveled to other states and other countries and can find it. Standard Buffalo Trace is in just about every liquor store in Hawaii and I just got back from trip abroad recently and found Eagle Rare in several stores. I've never seen a bottle of Eagle Rare in Minnesota, though. Wellers and Stagg show up very, very sporadically, a bottle at a time, and are usually part of a store lottery / raffle / silent auction. And none of those I've ever seen were store picks.
Because BT has "created" demand thru scarcit. I refuse to buy / recommend. They're the diamond barrons of the spirit world. Too many other legacy distillers with more history and availability to even patronage BT.
Only found ER at one little dumpy liqour store in mid michigan out of dozens of stores I've been to this summer and they had 3 😳. BT is EVERYWHERE $24.99 - 32.99 a couple stores had PHONY single barrel store picks 🫣 Cheers 🥃
WA107 is a great bottle that I stand a chance to find.

I really like how you made this video unfold. Do more of these.
W.A. 107, yeah, there's something about that 107-110 proof. It's like my 'Goldilocks' zone for proof points.
I’m new to the channel. Gotta say, I love the tiered pedestals and medals

Should have put a benchmark full proof in there for comparison.
Great idea!
ive had BT and W107 {non SP} 2 years in bourbon and never had ER,Stagg or WfullProof.... someday!
I've never seen store picks of any of these lol.
Oh, and Jaime's palate is probably one of the best I've seen of all the Whiskey Tubers
Thank you John. We live in VA and BT is usually what we can get on allocated drops.
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow So are they all just ABC picks?

We live in VA so if we find any of these, it’s for retail. Most of VA allocated drops are BT.

A Stagg store pick is what made me go from casual whiskey drinker to full on enthusiast
Its hard enough to find any Buffalo Trace store pick. I've literally never seen a store pick.
Oh wow. Where do you live?
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow I'm about 60 miles NW of Chicago.

They are all hard to find for me.
Sorry Mario. Appreciate you taking the time to watch.
um, David, this is Beyond the Row not Whiskey Row.
Fred you are amazing! I didn’t catch that when I edit this! He’s in trouble 😡😂😂

Benchmark Full Proof 100%
Totally agree, so overlooked and unfortunately hard to find for me.
You say there is only one Buff Trace? She called it on first two no prob!
lol I thought the first pour was making them all smell and taste like BT. I kept resetting my sniffer to make sure😂
