Can we just take a min and give some props to bardstown for just killing the past year or two. The origin series is amazing! The high wheat is a great pour! Lets not forget about disco 11 that you can still find on shelves and the new disco 12! They are quickly becoming one of my favorite distilleries!
$49.99 and a shelfer vs. $69.99 (Buffalo Trace just raised the srp $10 this year) and over $100 on secondary or good luck finding it at $70. Even though I think the OWA107 is a better sip, the High Wheat 🌾 is where my money is being spent. Just got my first bottle this last weekend at Binny’s in Illinois for $40 on the last day of their bourbon month discount. It’s a great bottle and it’ll be a regular buy for me. Great episode y’all. Keep em coming!
Howdy folks! Antique 107 has been my favorite bourbon for many years…have a few stored for special occasions and people! My favorite sub is Bardstown white label at 96 or the Bardstown BIB …strictly on taste not proof. Thanks for the show!🤠🥃
We had 5 people do the Antique 107 and Bardstown high wheat in a blind last week. All 5 picked which one was which but all agreed that for $50 we would take the Bardstown all day over the Wellers. Bardstown has been crushing it this year between that high wheat and the Green River full proof.
Yes! My first glass of the bardtowns all i could think of was how close it tastes to 107 (but possibly better). It may be the best $50 bottle on the market right now (GR full propf gives it a run though)
I just got that bottle last Saturday and I went back for 2 more. So good! Bardstown, New Riff, Penelope and High West are some of my favorite bottles to pull. Great stuff!
I've had a bottle of the Bardstown wheater and it is very good. I've got a bottle of Weller A107 , have not opened it yet, guess I'll check it out. Cheers 🍻
I would have included the MM cask strength here? But bardstown is killing it. Their bib is a fantastic pour also. I’m not a BT guy it’s just to hard to get. If it becomes available after their recent upgrade at the distillery we’ll see but honestly I’ll still pick easy to get over BT everyday.
Nice review! Is a wineyberry similar to a cryberry :) I’m having the Bardstown against 107 right along with you. I agree the 107 has a little more punch but I think I like the Bardstown slightly more tonight! Cheers!
I like Larceny, but it doesn't hold up in blinds. I'm gonna get the Bardstown soon. ASW is absolutely delicious. I like the toasted cask strenght the best.
Not to be "That Guy",but, with the exception of Wyoming whiskey, the others are technically Bourbon. High wheat but still Bourbon. Bernheim and Silver Grove are pretty good wheated whiskey. Fun video, cheers
So you're saying they mislabeled a wheat whiskey as being a wheated bourbon by putting the Wyoming in the lineup to be a substitute for Weller Antique?

Yessss! 💯 AGREE👍👍🥃
I was going to say something similar, but you beat me to it. You have to love what they're doing, and for several reasons ... all of them good!
Exactly just killing it either quality stuff and AVAILABLE
This! THIS is a damn fine video format! Please do more allocated/hyped vs. 3-5 alternative blinds! Cheers
Ditto
I really like these kind of videos. Cheers!
Thank you!
I'm finished with the FOMO! When I see something that I know I like, that's what I'll buy! Great show as always! Cheers!

I love that Larceny B524 and the Bardstown high wheat

Repeating what others have said….great content format. Please continue…comparing allocated to unallocated/easier to find.
The fiddler unison would be a good one.
I just got a bottle of bardstown wheated I may have to open it tonight.
Do it now! It’s delicious 🥃
I like this format! Maker's cask strength may have been a good contender as well.

Bardstown high wheat now available at the VA ABC.
I've had a bottle of the Bardstown wheater and it is very good. I've got a bottle of Weller A107 , have not opened it yet, guess I'll check it out. Cheers 🍻
Love the high wheat
Went to KBF and did the Bardstown blending class. I bought the 'super wheat' and it's good. Makes sense it was picked as the most comparable
I do love WA107 but I don't waste time hunting it. I bought a bottle of the Bardstown "Highest Wheat" locally for $50.
So now I'll be looking for 2-3 of these. I'm a Bardstown Origins BIB fan. As previously stated, Bardstown is really making great stuff 🥃👍🥃

I bought the Bardstown origin high wheat last week and it’s very good! I have the bib but the high wheat origin is much better!
All of the origin series is good, that high wheat is special though. I really enjoyed it. Great blind! 👍🏾
Thank you for watching!

At least in NJ so far I can find Wellers but I cannot find Bardstown!!! Wish I could cause the wife and I do love some wheated bourbon!!
I like Larceny, but it doesn't hold up in blinds.

Great blind!
Thank you 🥃
