I appreciate the great review. Kentucky Spirit, Camp Nelson F, one of my favorite bottles. I buy them every time I see them which unfortunately is less and less now. They go for about $55 in Montgomery county.
I paid $30 for Kentucky Spirit CN-F ... I think the store scanned it wrong, pretty sure it was $45 on the shelf (which is still cheaper than what I see them at other stores that don't really jack up prices ...)
Love this format, price comparisons and opinions. It is very helpful to me. The hardest thing about this hobby is deciding how to spend your budget. Thanks for doing this.
Tonight, I'm working with the no-doubters. Michter's Small Batch, Early Times Bottled in Bond, Brother's Bond Cask Strength, and Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof. I enjoyed the Kentucky Spirit yesterday but here, the price point was about $65ish.
Man whiskey prices can be so different in other places. You have the Kentucky Spirit for $95 but I usually buy it for $55-$65 here in Texas. It is one of the pours I usually start the night with to calibrate my palate before tasting new pours.
I low key enjoy watching Jaime and David passively fight over remaining drops in the Glen's. Snatching the Glen's from each other as if those are their 5 remaining glasses in the bar 😂 Maybe have your own individual pours once and a while guys.
We do from time to time have our own glasses. David is not double blind so we choose to have one set of glasses to discipline the drinking. Plus that is way too many glens to wash after 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Cheers
Kentucky spirit for $95, doesn't seem right. That's $35 more than I see it for everyday. I'm thinking it's 65ish in Virginia, not 95. The JD is $100 for a regular size bottle. Yellowstone stone is 95ish msrp, I see it for that and 115 locally, paid both prices, will get a 2024 for up to 115, it's the only yellowstone bottle I think is a ok value and the only yellowstone bottle I ever buy.
Not at all. It’s more for drinking discipline. When you do these blinds regularly it helps to portion out. No need to get tipsy all the time. Also David knows what the bottles are and I do not. He mainly sits along with me to taste. I’d rather not wash an extra set of glens. Appreciate you taking the time to comment😂
Love these episodes. My palate aligns with David’s so it helps which I shouldn’t pass on.
Thank you!

Yea it’s $69 in west TN. At reasonable stores. Higher elsewhere.
$65 in Michigan.

Thank you for the review.
Nice one. That Yellowstone is $150 at TW here, and it has been sitting in the case for 6 months at least.

WT here is 65 at most in NC. CNe CNf TYg is usually what we see here.

Took a tour of JD last sept and picked up a few of the Distillery series bottles. I was happy I did. Cheers you two.
Good video 😃🥃
This was great because I have been curious about the Remus.
Your right it’s 56.00 in Chicago at binnys
For me Jack Daniel's is king of Rye so wished I was closer so I could snag that bottle from Distillery. Cheers 🥃

Grocery store by me just got in some WTKS cn-f for 65. Might have to grab one on way home
Jack Daniel’s looks the most interesting , another great blind…. THANKS
A Costco near me has the Remus Repeal VII for $76
What a great price in the UK it’s coming in at $ 130
95 for Kentucky Spirit? The highest I've seen that for is 60. Oh, looks like a store pick... maybe.
Jamie you should try Yellowstone finished in rum cask. I did a tasting at a store and I didn't like any of them except the rum one.
I’m going to be on the look out for that one. We are heading to Kentucky today.
I’m a huge fan of that JD. It’s a good one!
I was impressed with JD

Never had NBC before.
Try it someday if you can. So good!
$95 for Kentucky Spirit? I think they’re like around $60 by me. I have a CN-F and a CN-A
My area has recently jumped up to about $90ish when they used to be $60 I believe
My area of north Georgia is $80ish ... and there's a lot of the CN-F here, pretty much any liquor store you walk into.
