This video is helpful. I've never visited a distillery and plan to do so soon. Now I know a little bit about what to expect. Buffalo Trace is one of the places I would like to visit.
@@mfischer78219 It's on a random rotating basis, but you can check the seven day history on www.buffalotracedailey.com and see. They also do predictions based on odds, but they're simply predictions. If you are unable to get one at the distillery, the best thing to do is create a relationship with a liquor store owner or manager and let them know you'd like to be considered if they get Eagle Rare in their allocations. If you're a regular, you will eventually get that call. I sure hope you can track one down!
@@TheBourbonPourShow I should have been more specific, I was asking about the Sazerac House in NOLA. I work for a big box store so I'm very familiar with how allocated works. I go to NOLA often and go to the Sazerac House but NEVER see ER, Weller, Blanton's or EHT for sale there. Planning a KY trip soon tho!
@@BryanSmith-it6tg Yes. You will go into a check in center before the gift shop. They will scan your ID, then scan and load that to an RFID bracelet that will be scanned when you make your purchase.
For sure! I made this one because I’ve seen so many questions about it! It’s been several years since I’ve been to Four Roses! Maybe I need to stop by there and do one of their distillery. Thanks for watching! 🥃

Thanks Bob! Hope you get to one soon! Cheers! 🥃🐎
Thanks for clarifying some things I wasn't sure about.
@@Paolo_DLR no problem! Just a side note, pricing has changed for Blanton’s and EH Taylor. They’ve each gone up about $7.
Honestly please tell them to put more eh Taylor in Mississippi!!!
@@loveandlight8286 haha! Same in Indiana! We hardly see it!
Appreciate the info
Glad to help! Cheers! 🥃🦬🦅🐎
Why limited bottles once every 90 days? Looks like admission to that place is more cmplicated than to Kim Yan Sung residency.
ER is $30 at the Sazerac House here in Nola. Even its own distillery is price gouging. 😢
It is crazy how prices can fluctuate from state to state! A reminder that distilleries still have to purchase the whiskey from a distributor!
How often do they have Eagle Rare for sale? Every time I have gone, it's not available. Pretty much just BT & Sazerac, then the rums.

Do they link your previous purchase via ID?

How early can you get into the parking lot?
I’ve never gotten there super early, but I have seen where people will post photos of people in line around 7/7:30am
I'm not a fan but very good video 👍. Rather go to four roses 😉🥃 Cheers
