Thank you! For some reason standard BT has been out of stock everywhere in central IL though it’s reasonably priced when I do find it. Good rec on the EW Single Barrel, the 1783 expression is a good alternative at 90 proof that’s easier to find.
I can't get BT in my area easily. Thanks for the video. Exactly what I was looking for. Only thing that may help is put the options in the description for referral, you know, when I'm at the store.
I have a bottle each right now of Old Forester 86 and Buffalo Trace - both are "fruit forward," but different fruits - I'd almost describe OF as banana candy vs BT having grape candy notes.
Hit or miss with Buffalo Trace. Could not find it for months, and then 3 weeks ago, I picked up 6 bottles of Buffalo Trace for $26.99 each, and 5 bottles of Weller Special Reserve for $29.99 each at different Binny’s in Northern Illinois.
Keep up the good work. I nominate Larceny as a Buffalo Trace substitute. Have both and Larceny only slightly burns more than BT. (Disclosure I do work for a local liquor store so my basises is based off of local tastes and preferences, but most peeps prefer BT any day of the week.) Also, pls keep the Brooklyn 99 references...it's highly entertaining
What's up guys I just picked up two bottles of Buffalo Trace at Twin Liquors in Temple Texas Bell County for $23 a bottle it was cheaper if I bought two bottles it would have been $25 for one bottle I left two on the Shelf today
Here in New Brunswick Canada. It's state run, it's amazing to me how these are priced here. I know the weaker Canadian dollar plus import plus state & federal tax on it. Buffalo Trace is widely available here all taxes in 42.99 , old forester 86 is 34.99 you can get 1792 for 50.00 maker 46 is 60.99. Four roses is not available here. Evan Williams single barrel is 59.99... The 1783 is 40.99 or the bib is 36.99 .
Wow, yeah at those prices I would go for the BT or OF. I know there a lot of places around the US where you can find BT all the time for $29 but around us, in South Carolina, the spots that have it semi-regular are $40+ before tax. There are some places that are less, but they sell out within hours of getting it in.
@@ThoseBourbonGuys for what it's worth it's sold out in every grocery store and liquor store, but I know of a few secret stashes ;) that's one good thing about a state that sells in grocery stores and not just liquor stores, a lot more places to find stuff
You're having to spend 70 on Rare Breed? I mean, you're right. If I had 140 with a need to buy some bourbon and there was a bottle of blantons and 2 bottles of rare breed. I'm buying the rare breed.
@@ThoseBourbonGuys If I want Elijah Craig barrel proof it is £120 in my market. Jack Daniels single barrel proof is £75 and e.h.taylor small batch is £100.
@@joeh007 6,790 bottles of Buffalo trace on the shelves in Ontario (LCBO), in 6 months there will be 5000 still because nobody cares. I don't buy anything from Forty Creek because it is crap. Like the guys said, there is so much selection for you guys, why anyone would even pursue this 90 proof nothing Bourbon is beyond me.

I'm in Nevada and BT is in all the grocery stores for under $30.
I wish it were the same around here.
This is one of the MANY reasons I miss Vegas!
Dammit! 😅

Crazy.... I never ever seen that Evan Williams Single Barrel but I find Buffalo Trace everywhere here in ILL lol

LOL, thanks so much.
Looking forward to my trip to London. You can buy Buffalo Trace at any Waitrose grocery store for under $25 including tax.
Yeah, we have a guy in a different state who can send them to us for $25. Crazy about the difference in other states.
You can get Buffalo Trace here in Sweden for about $40. Even most single malt people think it's very good. Ironical that it's hard to get in the US.
In AZ, I can always find BT at a good price. Cannot find Eagle Rare. Just can’t figure it.

I will be in SC fir a week have to keep my eye out for ew single barrel
The EW: 1783 is a higher proof ( 90 ) and a cheaper price for a damn good bottle
Just got a bottle of BT in Ohio at krogers for $24.99 lady said it would be gone by end of the day 7 bottles on the shelf
I wish BT products in general were more readily available around us for decent pricing. We can get them, but most places mark them up dramatically.
OF 86 is definitely a really good one for the price.
In OR and have no problem getting it at $25.95/750mL
See it every day in OR and even in small grocery stores in WA. Selling for $25.95 to $31,95.
That would be a steal where we live. Cheers.
Ouch, here in Arkansas it's around 30$ just picked a bottle up today for Thanksgiving.
Bt is $27 at big box and $35-$44 pretty regularly by me in Wisconsin
Yeah, it's mid $40s to upper $60s most place where we live. Sad too. It's a fantastic pour at $25.

AJ Nice shirt !!! Is the audio thin on this video or is it me ?
Here in South Georgia I can’t find a bottle in a couple of years
You can find them in our area, it's the prices you have to pay sometimes that's the issue.
24.99 Plano Texas this past Saturday limit one bottle tho
$26.99 a bottle here + tax and I can get as many as I want (Maine)
I hate that the allocation varies so much from state to state.

Wild turkey 101 is good. I tried buffalo trace and it is not my thing
Agreed. AJ here again. WT101 is a great value better than Blantons.
Walgreen’s for $22 in Louisiana.
o shiz, the duo is back! sucks getting the rona lol
No Rona … they both travelled last week
That's right! We'z back!!!!
Impossible to find in Miami I swear to god
I'm sure everyone feels that every once in a while. 😆 It do feel like they're impossible to find though.
Sam's Club Greenwood Indiana $22.98 no limit
Jesus, guys.....I can get Eagle Rare at $32, Blanton's at $59 and Buffalo Trace for $ 24.99 in Michigan ......let me know if ya'll need some !
