I get what you say that it's difficult to do things to improve one's health - mental and/or physical because all your energy and focus is "stolen" by the abuser in one's home/life. I'm really trying to change things, and I'm doing well considering, but its so difficult to really keep seeing changes or to heal properly because of many various factors. Adult bullying is a thing, and they get angry and abuse steps up as they see you get healthier in any way. Because health and strength means you will eventually be strong enough to say no to them, or you will leave them. They can only abuse family/partners as the rest of the world will kick them to the curb in a second, if they ever did 1/1000 of horrible behaviours to them, that they do to us. I have been fasting 16 hrs for more than 1 year eversince covid. Recently I decided to bring it up to 18 hrs and that is the game changer. I see better skin. I never had such remarkable changes in my skin ever. Have been following your channel for years and realised I didn't subscribe. I just did! :)
I fasted for around 40 hours for the very first time in my life (after liver flushes every month since August '20), and I noticed an amazing improvement in my skin. It's soft, elastic, and has a better colour. I fasted because my stomach was a little upset, without knowing the benefits for the skin. I'm quite eager to do it again but next time I believe it will be for 72 hours.

Because of your excellent advice I started intermittent fasting combined with keto 18 months ago and have now lost 30lbs! I only did keto for about 3 months but still consciously keep my sugar intake low (treats only). My skin is amazing, firmer, more radiant, wrinkles have become less deep, hair, nails, teeth have all shown massive improvement and best of all…. I feel great! @@Drberg Thank you for replying, yes it is absolutely fine to post my comment on Dr Berg’s web site, I hope it will encourage others to take this incredible journey, I forgot to mention something very important, I have been able to reduce my blood pressure meds down by 50% and my thyroid meds are being reduced gradually too plus I’m able to go 12 weeks between vitamin b12 injections for pernicious anaemia instead of 8 weeks. I’m aiming to be able to come off all prescription meds eventually…. That would be my end goal.

I love your to the point videos, I have been following your advice on intermittent fasting and have reduced by 8 kilos! I eat way less and better and I've been doing the 2 freshly squeezed lemons each day and my skin is clearer and softer. I'm 62 this month and feel great, and its not an effort because I see results! I took his advice of juicing lemons with skin and pulp as that's where most of the nutrition is, I just quarter a lemon in a small cup of water and blend it, its my morning shot ...🙂

I’ve been OMAD and Keto/low-carb for over two and a half years. This really helped my skin in every way but just not to the extent I’ve noticed in the last few months of drinking bone broth. That’s the miracle juice right there!
This is a very good video! And I can attest to the foods Dr Berg is recommending, from personal experience. I always notice a big difference when I add more pomegranate to my diet.. the skin just looks overall refreshed and more rosy and youthful. Bellpeppers I also notice it directly, for me - the red ones - they help especially the eye wrinkles .. yellow and orange ones by the way are also great for improving eyesight (again personal experience). And i notice it as well if i eat cauliflower or broccoli (cruciferous). Cannot pinpoint one exact thing but the face just looks better even if I add these foods just one day.. I can tell the following 1-2 days that it looks way better. And as an extra tip even though most would already know that.. if you feel you are getting a some small impurities or even a pimple.. an extra intake of sea food oysters or even a Zinc supplement and it will be gone within a day or not even appear. These things really work. Nutrition rocks!
I started watching Dr.Berg and he honestly saved my life. I have experienced itching severely it was awful. I had been suffering from it since my twenties and no Dr could find the reason. I had biopsy after biopsy bought everything from lotion to medicine and nothing got rid of it. Being in my 50's I just prayed no one else suffered from this especially my children. I had every immune system disease known to man no lie. I got to watch video after video from Dr. Berg and I hit the ground running changing everything from food to what I drink and I have to say the skin has settled down tremendously, my weight dropped 65lbs, I look and feel 25yrs younger. My skin looks like when I was in my early 20's. I know without him I don't think I would of ever found this new found lifestyle and free from so much especially the itching. It's a serious problem in the world and without Dr. Berg help I honestly believe I'd be in my grave by 60 and that's sad. Dr Berg, I recommend you to anyone and everyone. Thank you for your research, wisdom and care. Your advice has helped me regarding inflamed and painful breast tissue, and general body inflammation last year. Now at 51 I’ struggling with menopausal symptoms but I’m sure, with your advice, I will conquer! I am an extreme anti-pharma person. I have watched the destruction of drugs on so many people I care for. From as young as a teenager I have tried to avoid pharma as far as possible with myself, husband and two daughters. When I look back I do regret some of the times we were prescribed something or other. But, over the past decade it’s been maybe once or twice for wisdom tooth extraction for my girls etc. Thankfully we are a healthy family and opt for healthy food and a healthy lifestyle. I'm 67 and after doing low carb and intermittent fasting I am so wrinkled and my face is so sunken looking. I think I aged 10 years ! My daughter when she saw me thought I was sick like I have cancer! Thinking maybe I should gain some weight to fill out my sunken face

I want to say a huge Thank You to you Dr/Berg. In 2021 was diagnosed with A fib, pre diabetes, hyperactive thyroid{which brought on the A fib}heart failure and cataracts at the age of 57. I was prescribed a lot of medication that made me feel worse. I found you and started IF and the healthy keto diet and regular exercise and my doctors are all amazed at how I turned all of my health and vision problems around. It's expensive to eat all organic and pasture raise, grass fed but I do it. I also want to note, I've never been overweight, don't drink or smoke but I guess I just ate really badly. None of what I had runs in my family so it's all the more confusing how I ended up with all of that and a huge hospital bill on top of it all. I'm so grateful to have found you. My family is starting to follow in my footsteps and change their eating habits as well. You have been a God-send PS I would also like to note that I do parasite cleanses because one doctor said parasites can cause thyroid problems which can throw your whole body out of whack
Unfortunately fruits and vegetables are not really sufficient in giving us all the vitamins we need. It’s really a good idea to supplement on top of a healthy diet. Vitamins like D3 and Iodine and others especially will not be in your diet unfortunately and if they are it’s in minuscule amounts. The reason 80+ percent of the world population is deficient.

Hello Dr. Berg, for years now i follow your channel and it has been of so much benefit to me. I went from 164 lb to 120 and i have to be careful do not loose more.. but not only i improbed my weight that wasn't my primary purpose but i gained energy, focus, memory, and overall wellbeing. I keep watching your channel for additional information but my concerns are different now. I am a 60 year old woman and i seem to have other issues that come along with age and i am not sure if keeping Keto to the end is still the best option, related to bond density, muscle, hair grow .. still much to learn to the last phase... nevertheless thank you for all your teachings as i probably would not be able to continue working if i didnt have the radical change with your diet, and yes i was highly inflamed, and loved as many of us, flours and sugars before the change.

Raising my awareness to both avoid damaging habits and include more healthier options. The biggest “thanks” is for your advice re fasting from dinner to lunch 👍. You have also reaffirmed my keto-ish eating style. At 47yo, really can’t shake the weight off, so just started jogging and dumbbells by alternating between them each day; could you do a video on aerobic and anaerobic exercises?
dr berg has videos on best exercise etc High intensisty is best. walking is good tho if you have insulin resistance. gradually ease in to intermittent fasting -its best for weight loss etc.
Another great video Dr Berg! As a (relatively) young person with many health problems, I always learn so much, but with each new thing, there's always a million burning questions. I hope you can answer at least some... 1. How can I ease my muscle stiffness? I watched your video on that. I've been doing keto for a year and it's gotten significantly worse in that time, especially in my quads and hamstrings. I could do the splits six months ago, but now I can barely get halfway and suffer tears more easily. Like you mentioned, I feel OLD and it's taking a toll on my quality of life. I've been taking cod liver oil, D3, K2 and bile for months now. Nothing is working. If anything, it's getting worse. I have digestive issues, which brings me to my next question: 2. Could leaky gut be the problem? I think my digestive system has been damaged by PPIs, antibiotics and stress. Would a probiotic help me, or is the damage likely permanent? 3. Dr Gundry thinks that lectins are the problem. Is he correct? Should I avoid foods like peppers and tomatoes if I have leaky gut? 4. I take bile salts. How many do I take? Is there an alternative, as they are extremely expensive and sometimes my tummy doesn't react well? 4. A recent hair minerals test revealed low copper, vitamin C and calcium. Could this be linked to my muscle stiffness? PS. I suppliment with these. Thank you Dr Berg! Getting better one problem at a time and all thanks to you and Thomas Delauer!
@Save yourselves You haven't mentioned if you're supplementing with Zinc. However, in case you are, that "could be" causing it. I recently discovered that a Zinc supplement has caused incredible stiffness and pain in my body. Over another person's revelation (here on comments to Dr Berg), I also eliminated Zinc out of my regimen, and my painful and stiff joints have returned to normal.
@@mc-nw1rk Funnily enough, there is zinc in several suppliments I'm taking. I will cut them out and see if it helps. Does it matter the type of zinc used? I'm using zinc carnosine for my leaky gut you see. Thank you so much for the advice x

I have super healthy glowing skin and I eat carrots, broccoli, cranberries, strawberries, lemons, tumeric, honey, unsweetened almond milk, acv and eggs and other fruit like berries, pomegrants, and watermelon, and fish. 3 days a week I have a collagen shake. I also smoke CBD. I seldom eat sugar. I drink coffee, and detox teas and teas that are specifically for skin health. I stay in ketosis at least for another hour in the morning. Please don't come saying it is genetics and my race cause I once did not have beautiful skin. I am currently going on a long fast this Saturday for some days. 😊
I’ve personally and successfully tried dr bergs advice. I began with intermittent fasting and big hearty salads that were filling followed by water with vinegar before meals. Guys, I’ve seen a huge positive change in my body and skin in only a month and I’m never going back!!!

facts!! ever since i went low carb, with high good fats like Avocado, and consuming more vegetables, my skin massively improved. less dry, smoother and my spots in my skin went away!
I love everything but pomegranate seeds. I turned 60 in February and ppl think I'm 38-45. I just afraid I'll lose too much weight. 5'9 132 pds. Down from 145, 2 yrs ago. But I have so much energy!

Is it a hard fast or do You also drink water?
Once I did it regularly 3-4x a week for 1 year it became so easy to do.

This is a very good video! And I can attest to the foods Dr Berg is recommending, from personal experience. I always notice a big difference when I add more pomegranate to my diet.. the skin just looks overall refreshed and more rosy and youthful. Bellpeppers I also notice it directly, for me - the red ones - they help especially the eye wrinkles .. yellow and orange ones by the way are also great for improving eyesight (again personal experience). And i notice it as well if i eat cauliflower or broccoli (cruciferous). Cannot pinpoint one exact thing but the face just looks better even if I add these foods just one day.. I can tell the following 1-2 days that it looks way better. And as an extra tip even though most would already know that.. if you feel you are getting a some small impurities or even a pimple.. an extra intake of sea food oysters or even a Zinc supplement and it will be gone within a day or not even appear. These things really work. Nutrition rocks!

I started watching Dr.Berg and he honestly saved my life. I have experienced itching severely it was awful. I had been suffering from it since my twenties and no Dr could find the reason. I had biopsy after biopsy bought everything from lotion to medicine and nothing got rid of it. Being in my 50's I just prayed no one else suffered from this especially my children. I had every immune system disease known to man no lie. I got to watch video after video from Dr. Berg and I hit the ground running changing everything from food to what I drink and I have to say the skin has settled down tremendously, my weight dropped 65lbs, I look and feel 25yrs younger. My skin looks like when I was in my early 20's. I know without him I don't think I would of ever found this new found lifestyle and free from so much especially the itching. It's a serious problem in the world and without Dr. Berg help I honestly believe I'd be in my grave by 60 and that's sad. I am an extreme anti-pharma person. I have watched the destruction of drugs on so many people I care for. From as young as a teenager I have tried to avoid pharma as far as possible with myself, husband and two daughters. I want to say a huge Thank You to you Dr/Berg. In 2021 was diagnosed with A fib, pre diabetes, hyperactive thyroid{which brought on the A fib}heart failure and cataracts at the age of 57. I was prescribed a lot of medication that made me feel worse. I found you and started IF and the healthy keto diet and regular exercise and my doctors are all amazed at how I turned all of my health and vision problems around. It's expensive to eat all organic and pasture raise, grass fed but I do it. I also want to note, I've never been overweight, don't drink or smoke but I guess I just ate really badly. None of what I had runs in my family so it's all the more confusing how I ended up with all of that and a huge hospital bill on top of it all. I'm so grateful to have found you. My family is starting to follow in my footsteps and change their eating habits as well. You have been a God-send

Unfortunately fruits and vegetables are not really sufficient in giving us all the vitamins we need. It’s really a good idea to supplement on top of a healthy diet. Vitamins like D3 and Iodine and others especially will not be in your diet unfortunately and if they are it’s in minuscule amounts. The reason 80+ percent of the world population is deficient.

Hello Dr. Berg, for years now i follow your channel and it has been of so much benefit to me. I went from 164 lb to 120 and i have to be careful do not loose more.. but not only i improbed my weight that wasn't my primary purpose but i gained energy, focus, memory, and overall wellbeing. I keep watching your channel for additional information but my concerns are different now. I am a 60 year old woman and i seem to have other issues that come along with age and i am not sure if keeping Keto to the end is still the best option, related to bond density, muscle, hair grow .. still much to learn to the last phase... nevertheless thank you for all your teachings as i probably would not be able to continue working if i didnt have the radical change with your diet, and yes i was highly inflamed, and loved as many of us, flours and sugars before the change.

Raising my awareness to both avoid damaging habits and include more healthier options. The biggest “thanks” is for your advice re fasting from dinner to lunch 👍. You have also reaffirmed my keto-ish eating style. At 47yo, really can’t shake the weight off, so just started jogging and dumbbells by alternating between them each day; could you do a video on aerobic and anaerobic exercises?

Another great video Dr Berg! As a (relatively) young person with many health problems, I always learn so much, but with each new thing, there's always a million burning questions. I hope you can answer at least some...
1. How can I ease my muscle stiffness? I watched your video on that. I've been doing keto for a year and it's gotten significantly worse in that time, especially in my quads and hamstrings. I could do the splits six months ago, but now I can barely get halfway and suffer tears more easily. Like you mentioned, I feel OLD and it's taking a toll on my quality of life. I've been taking cod liver oil, D3, K2 and bile for months now. Nothing is working. If anything, it's getting worse. I have digestive issues, which brings me to my next question:
2. Could leaky gut be the problem? I think my digestive system has been damaged by PPIs, antibiotics and stress. Would a probiotic help me, or is the damage likely permanent?
3. Dr Gundry thinks that lectins are the problem. Is he correct? Should I avoid foods like peppers and tomatoes if I have leaky gut?
4. I take bile salts. How many do I take? Is there an alternative, as they are extremely expensive and sometimes my tummy doesn't react well?
4. A recent hair minerals test revealed low copper, vitamin C and calcium. Could this be linked to my muscle stiffness? PS. I suppliment with these.

@Save yourselves You haven't mentioned if you're supplementing with Zinc. However, in case you are, that "could be" causing it. I recently discovered that a Zinc supplement has caused incredible stiffness and pain in my body. Over another person's revelation (here on comments to Dr Berg), I also eliminated Zinc out of my regimen, and my painful and stiff joints have returned to normal.

I have super healthy glowing skin and I eat carrots, broccoli, cranberries, strawberries, lemons, tumeric, honey, unsweetened almond milk, acv and eggs and other fruit like berries, pomegrants, and watermelon, and fish. 3 days a week I have a collagen shake. I also smoke CBD. I seldom eat sugar. I drink coffee, and detox teas and teas that are specifically for skin health. I stay in ketosis at least for another hour in the morning. Please don't come saying it is genetics and my race cause I once did not have beautiful skin. I am currently going on a long fast this Saturday for some days. 😊
