I stopped pre packaged foods, seed oils, sugars, all breads/flour 8 yrs ago. Changed my life/health and reset my brain! This was about a year before YT came into my life! What an education since that time! I automatically fell into an intermittent fast routine without knowing. Ate when hungry (11am and 4:30-5pm) YES….first year was more difficult as I gave in to cravings about every four weeks. I didn’t keep ANYTHING in house that could be tempting. Thank you Dr. Ekberg for so graciously sharing your knowledge with an easy to follow breakdown. Will be 90 yrs in 3 mos.🥳
Thanks to doctor Ekberg, my energy levels are way up, and here is why. Quit simple carbs, meaning I eat no processed foods. Nothing with sugar in it. No junk food, no processed meat or foods of any kind. My carbs are mostly whole grains such as steel cut oats or buckwheat, which, by the way, is a fantastic food plus raw almonds and similar nuts. I usually eat twice a day and don't eat anything in between meals at all. Once in a while, I have a glass or two of wine maybe twice a week. I either swim for a half an hour or walk for at least an hour every day, and I do some light stretching and light weightlifting. Loving it. Man, have my energy levels shot up. Thank you Doc. Can't thank you enough for making me a health Champion. Can you talk about Kidney Care please? How best to look after healthy kidneys and how to look after diseased kidneys. Best foods and what to avoid. Cheers.
@@drekbergthanks for the advice! I’ve tried to eat a sustainable healthy diet for about the last ten years, I wish I’d had all your knowledge available from the start!
I'm a plant based diet person. Meat and fish ect is not the problem. Its the processed and ultra processed "foods" that's the problem. Also foods that contains: pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and antibiotics ect. I have to be careful about what I eat as a person on a plant based diet. That's why I will do my best to get my own garden or a farm.
I can only eat three of those foods listed, as I don't tolerate plants. But when I was eating plants I also didn't absorb the nutrients from them well at all. I do so much better eating only meat, fish, eggs, and low carb dairy.
2 tablespoons of unsulphured organic blackstrap molasses has almost 100 mg of magnesium. That also gives over 700mg of potassium, 6mg of iron and 220mg of calcium. I feel that the super sticky nature of molasses helps the body better absorb all these minerals.
Ive been taking Magnesium biglycinate 320mg/day. Sleeping much better and more energy, but.... I've had unconfortable tingling in my lower legs and feet after 2 months. Why is this? I can't find anything online. Stoped taking it 2 days ago and symptoms have disappeared. I've recently taken collagen, hyluronic acid and herbal teas. Not sure if they are causing it.
Thank you @no.5810. Not sure. If you were seeing improvement initially, I don't see Magnesium Bisglycinate creating a problem. Hope you figure it out. 😄
Hi doctor, I love your videos. Currently attempting my first 48hr fast. I wanted to request a video about fasting during the different stages of the hormone cycle for women please. I’ve been low-carb since october ‘23, but I miss bread, so I have started preparing crepes occasionally, about 60% Einkorn flour, 40% dark rye or buckwheat flour, an egg, and some milk and salt. No recipe, I’m working in Tablespoons to make about 4 pancakes just for myself. I fry them in lard, and I use no syrup or sugar-I just like them plain. Doesn’t bother my gut (I believe rye and buckwheat are good for the gut). Considering where you come from, I’m always surprised you don’t ever talk about rye bread or WASA bread (flat bread).
I loved chocolate/cacao powder. I was sad to find out it is one of the worst foods like spinach and almonds for oxalates. At first I did not want to believe this was a "real thing" but when I eliminated them I was shocked when I began to dump them from my joints and tissues and had very visible and measurable side effects. I had to back down at a slower pace and use a lot of potassium citrate to ease them out of my body. Chocolate is a no go. 😢
Thank you for another fantastic and informative video. Promoting a variety of real food is the best advice you can give to people. I love it when you give us an example of how can we group these foods together to get the best result simply. Like you did with your yoghurt meal with some seeds in it. Thank you for your dedication once again.
These videos are information dense and I appreciate your hard work and the information you share! We need to change the SAD back to the diet we were created to eat! Thank you Dr. Ekberg!
Hello Dr Sten, thank you for the good work you are doing. I have been following your teachings for for some time now because I am struggling to maintain blood sugar levels. Please I have a question regarding Ceylon Cinnamon, I have read about this plant and there are studies that says it can help in blood sugar control. But am not sure what is the safe amount to use as a spice in meals. Any advice from you will be helpful. Thank you 🙏
I do eat minimal grass fed whole milk organic butter and milk….some cottage cheese….no cheese just bc I enjoy them ( I look forward to homemade latte each morning ) and a little butter on broccoli and a slice of organic sourdough toast

Cheers.
Feel great about my magnesium intake now, thanks Dr.!
My breakfast of: yogurt, blueberries, chia, and flax seems to be a Mg powerhouse!
Thank you @ericmiller4519. It is for sure. Pumpkin seeds add a nice crunch. 😄
@@drekbergthanks for the advice! I’ve tried to eat a sustainable healthy diet for about the last ten years, I wish I’d had all your knowledge available from the start!

DR. STEN EKBERG / THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE❗️
Having had a kidney stone, I am wary of oxalates & almonds are high in them.
❤❤❤❤ Merci beaucoup pour vos vidéos très instructif.👍👍👍
I was loosing my mind up in here, because of a poor diet. Now I can sit down and enjoy a proper meal!
Estou seguindo basicamente todos estas recomendações de Dr. Eckberg. Gratidão from Brasil
every video is a gem
2 tablespoons of unsulphured organic blackstrap molasses has almost 100 mg of magnesium. That also gives over 700mg of potassium, 6mg of iron and 220mg of calcium. I feel that the super sticky nature of molasses helps the body better absorb all these minerals.
Molasses are fantastic, I sweeten my 1 pint of raw Jersey milk coffee in the morning, never hungry until late afternoon.
The only problem with molasses that it's a "non-heme" iron source (meaning vegetarian). The body absorbs non-heme iron very poorly.
74% carbohydrates... yea, that would do it...
Thank you Dr Ekberg, your videos are so informative and well researched and well explained. I feel like I could get a degree from these videos❤️🎓
Dziękuję Doktorze

А я то думаю с чего меня на свёклу потянуло. Кстати свёкла (beet) ещё и кровь хорошо очищает и давление регулирует.
Благодарю доктор за вашу работу 😊❤
Ive been taking Magnesium biglycinate 320mg/day. Sleeping much better and more energy, but....
I've had unconfortable tingling in my lower legs and feet after 2 months. Why is this? I can't find anything online. Stoped taking it 2 days ago and symptoms have disappeared.
I've recently taken collagen, hyluronic acid and herbal teas. Not sure if they are causing it.
Thank you @no.5810. Not sure. If you were seeing improvement initially, I don't see Magnesium Bisglycinate creating a problem. Hope you figure it out. 😄
@drekberg Thank you for taking the time to answer, Dr Ekberg! I trust your opinion and it will help me work through the problem solving.
Hi doctor, I love your videos. Currently attempting my first 48hr fast.
I wanted to request a video about fasting during the different stages of the hormone cycle for women please. Can we fast at any point without adversely affecting our hormonal cycle? The info online is not very detailed.
Thank you!

Great info as always
Grazie Dott.Ekberg delle sue spigazioni
Grazie mille dottore, le tue video sulla salute, sone preziose.
Dziekuje Bardzo Dr. Za Cenne Iformacje Uklony i Szacunek za Skarbnice Wiedze Pozdrawiam Serdecznie❤
Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for captioning and giving full info on oxalate containing foods❤
