my problem is each time I start to play Barre chords my whole left arm muscles hurts like hell. It's been like that a few months now, nothing changes. I had my fingers position checked by someone who plays guitar well and said the position is fine. Helpu!
Why are barre chords important? I keep asking and as of yet no one actually answers the question? I've yet to find a song where barre chords are the better way. My instructor only wants to teach barre chords. If I never plan on transposing and my goal is just to play my favorite songs for myself, friends and family, and none of the songs use barre chords, (besides b or f) what's the point? I'm just gonna ditch the instructor if someone can't explain why they're so essential
