This is a very cool song. A bit different, with a very fun happy vibe. I have not heard much like it, but feels like there is room for much more of this type of music. A lot of electronic can be a bit moody and dark so refreshing with some new emotions.
The convenience if being 8 feet away from the tea kettle. Kinda jelly about that. I spent a lot of time on the fence about either the Quantum II or the 3rd Wave. Ultimately nostalgia won and I went for the 3rd Wave because of the PPG aesthetic.
I've got the Iridium and I'm thinking of swapping it out for a 3rd Wave. I enjoy all the Iridium can do, and it sounds beautiful but I'm not using it to its full potential. Also, I LOVE '80's synth music and always wanted a PPG.
Love it! That could have been a b-side on DM’s Speak and Spell. Also, it’s nice to know I’m not the only person whose instruments are in the same room as my kitchen. Studio living in more ways than one!
I couldn’t stop playing it!! So then I recorded it into the sequencer. Fast forward 4 hours later and I ended up with this hah Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and watch ☺️☺️
A very cool setup! Nice sequences and layers. I really enjoyed your Dune soundtrack as well. As a guitarist, it is always fun to watch the synthies do their thing. Looking forward to your next comps/arrangements! Thomas Menichino 2F
Thank you!! Yeah, I was just kind of playing around with some chords on the keys, and i felt like it had a really kind of angsty but happy vibe without being overly cheesy… or what I call The Strokes’ sound lol
@@dimund Yep, it's a great catchy pop tune, I love the hooks, builds and breakdowns, running it all in real time is also excellent. Vocals definitely needed to finish off. Very productive weekend!
After listening to this piece in the short version, and then in the long version, I have mixed feelings. In the short version, the buildup and escalation suggests that something powerful monumental will enter, and the listener is hungry to hear the rest, believing that he will encounter some absolute beauty there, that his senses will explode....after listening to the rest (which is correct, but too thin for such a massive introduction) it's a whiff on the second synth.... the whole thing starts like a good morning coffee with a beautiful aroma, and then you drink it and it's sour...give something heavier in genre after this brilliant introduction, I believe in you and your undeniable talent.
this is how you cook in the kitchen. love it
This jam made me happy 😆
So happy to hear that!!!!
You don't see a lot of Jomox out there. Nice.
I've had this track on replay all weekend!!! thankyou... It's addictive, uplifting and deserved to be huge!! ☀️😁🕺🎶💃⭐⚡❤️

Studio in the studio apartment does have some perks lol

I'm for sure going to need another 10 or 11 of those, like a whole albums worth please!
talk to us :)
Definitely overdue for that!
Obviously you sold the Iridium Keyboard to buy the Quantum Mk2
I did!! It was definitely the right move. The Iridium Keyboard is great, but the Mk2 Quantum is something pretty special
