    I also use a German vintage dynamic microphone for whenever I need to sample anything, fire off a few vocal lines an so forth, or just record my podcasts. My weapon of choice is the Uher M537. I really like how it sounds my voice. I like it so much that I bought a second Uher M537 in case my first one were to die.

      The great thing about quality mics is that they last forever and can be fixed!

      @@winesynths yeah, after having owned this microphone for a few years, had it slip out of it's holder and crash down onto my desk and so forth, it seems like they really are built to last. I don't think the M537s was luxury microphones back when they were released, and I know nothing about how they were treated by their previous owners. But they work excellently for me.

    I avoid getting dynamic mic’s just because I don’t want to sound great my room. $$$
