Trying to find the balance in new ADTR. It's like they'll have songs which are clear evolutions from what we know as the ADTR sound (which is good!), and then newer stuff that I don't care for. I like the instrumentals of Feedback, I like that it's kinda Paranoia-esque. I guess I just want more of the heavy ADTR again, especially with the remaster of FTWHH which I thought was an excellent re-release. I want to love these guys again, I really do. @@OneAndZer0 Whether they sound the same as current ADTR I’m not sure. This is the band that dropped common courtesy, I think they should be held to a higher standard than miracle. (No hate for liking that song or anything)
@@pwn1ngw4ffl3s I mean, the last album was full of "car commercial" tier songs, so Miracle at least sounded like a little step in the right direction. But yeah, it's insane how hard the Fueled By Ramen curse hit their songwriting.

No fan has ever get a band to where they are, no matter how much you support a band, that's not your accomplishment AT ALL, you support a band because they offer something that you like, once they offer something you don't like, you stop supporting the new stuff, simple as that, they will just get new fans and keep going, they owe nothing to anyone
Mixed feelings on this one. My main problem is the mix on Jeremy’s voice. He has such a distinct voice and if you didn’t tell me who this was I wouldn’t be able to tell you that’s Jeremy from ADTR
Weird how this seems to happen to every band once they reach a certain age, this song isn't even bad really but it's not getting to the target audience because the fan base wants ADTR not radio rock. Same shit happened with parkway drive and asking alexandria. The question is, who actually listens to this kinda music for it to be the correct move forward I don't know ANYONE that listens to this stuff! (doesn't mean they don't exist)
id strongly dislike this regardless of whatever band made it, i'd assume its some great value asking alexandria or buckcherry (two other bands i dont like)
Both are fair points, but man I have to be honest I kinda fuck with this song, and I’ve been listening since “and their name was treason”. It definitely sounds different but I’m hoping the whole album doesn’t sound like this

At this point, to redeem themselves after you're welcome, miracle, and now this, they'd have to make a song better than the story so far, state champs, and four year strong for us to "have faith in them" again and that's never gonna happen cuz all of those bands were always better than them to begin with lol
@@Joe-oh2ofI mean, it depends on what era of ADTR you're stuck on. I'm still not over the fact they never built on the sound of For Those Who Have Heart, so both this and Miracle are atrocious.

They wanna be a corp clown so bad like bmth but can’t even do it it’s really sad. This song is completely awful I legit was laughing at the lyrics. Your welcome should have been we are sorry
Right? I'm always puzzled by how much people think the bands need/want/care about their opinion, the band pretty much make music for themselves and they are still pretty solid to worry about a song that people don't like, this type of fans are usually the worst part of a band with their shitty behavior and entitlement
@@joeymdye Naah, they have a 20 year career, they have proved themselves already and have a solid fan base that evolves with them, some will stay, some will get behind and just listen to the old records, that's the way it is with any band, we the fans are not their bosses, we're consumers
@@Jf.Oviedo People could say nothing and just leave. But if they care about the band then they will give feedback so the band knows why they're losing people. If you don't have consumers you don't have a business
Dang…the distortion on Jeremy’s voice in the beginning was kinda cool, but then the rest of it was just…not the same. His voice is so unique! I saw them on their acoustic tour and you can’t hide behind anything, it’s so good! I read some of the comments and to say ADTR is trying to “go pop” is interesting because they had Rescue Me with Marshmello and I liked that song. And that was a bit pop-esque. But bands need to evolve and be challenged, that’s how they grow. Anyways, still love them 🖤
My personal opinion: ADTR is going through the Asking Alexandria transition of "where do we go from here?" (Yes, pun) When Danny came back, their self titled album had some bangers, but there were some rough ones. Then LAHOF came, all 15 tracks were roughhh. I think this can be compared to ADTR's Your Welcome. We just had to be patient for AA to drop 'See Whats On The Outside' to get some heavy rock, and shortly that transitioned to 'Where Do We Go From Here?' for a octane core/ as close to "older AA" sound we are ever going to get. Your Welcome had maybe two good songs on the whole album, but if this song was on that album, I think it would've gained traction as one of the better selections off the record. I see the light at the end of the tunnel here. Miracle showed us what they are capable of still. Let's not forget the drama the band faced with Josh and the fact they are getting older. Although this isnt my favorite song AA has turned it around and I think ADTR will as well. The trend seems to be there. Idk I'm an optimist.
I guess this is an unpopular opinion but I actually liked You're Welcome. It's certainly not my favorite ADTR album. That is a tough call between Homesick, What Separates Me From You, and Common Courtesy. But I don't think You're Welcome is awful.
@@GreatAether58I see your opinion and that is your preference. Whatever you enjoy, good for you! I agree that is an unpopular opinion. It is unrealistic to expect a band to have every song be amazing, but there is always a "formula" for everything. That is sales/streaming numbers, and general audience reception. Those display numbers do not lie and like it or not "Feedback" matters. People never want to accept mediocrity once a band reaches legendary status (which ADTR is). Legendary bands have flops. For example, I love Guns & Roses as much as the next person, but I want to always forget about Chinese Democracy. No band wants that one "eye sore" in their music catalog. ADTR are monsters. I'll give everything they pump out a chance. I think when it comes to Your Welcome, the most ADTR sounding songs were LCTDBF and Resentment. It was a curveball. Like I said in my op.
Just like in college when they want you to give your feedback and respond to another classmates comments I'm gonna give my typical response of "I agree with what everyone else said."

I hope this song isn’t on the setlist for their upcoming tour
It is it's gonna be the first song some nights ans some nights it will be the last song of the night before the encore song
Can I ask why?
@brutetank I would rather have a song from You’re Welcome or any other album.
It’s a good song to get the crowd into it, it’s also short so we don’t have to deal with it for long
Perfect bathroom break song
Loving seeing the feedback to this track…
Me too honestly. Song is garbage in a day to remember form. The lyrics are so laughable it’s insane. They need to just go back to being them and stop trying to be this superbowl half time show shit. It’s so sad to see them do this
Really shows you that Tom Denny kept the band grounded
Hop in that car and go back to Common Courtesy ❤
I'm going to go disrespect my surroundings now...
Can’t believe that album is over 10 years old now
If this band did common courtesy, made bad vibrations an EP with the 4 or 5 alright songs on that album and then decided to pursue other projects and put this to bed, I'd be fine with that at this point.
Nah, this is better.
So the last song really was a MIRACLE huh?
This never happen haha

Trying to find the balance in new ADTR. It's like they'll have songs which are clear evolutions from what we know as the ADTR sound (which is good!), and then newer stuff that I don't care for. I like the instrumentals of Feedback, I like that it's kinda Paranoia-esque. I guess I just want more of the heavy ADTR again, especially with the remaster of FTWHH which I thought was an excellent re-release. I want to love these guys again, I really do. I just think they ran out of lightening to catch in the bottle post Common Courtesy. If you love this song, awesome! I don't want to take that away from you. But for me, its just strayed a little too far from what I would want to hear from them.
Paramore and BMTH vibes...
Exactly how I’m feeling
@@TimothyMouton How so? I don't think I've heard a song from either of those bands that sounds like this, especially any of their more recent albums.
@@OneAndZer0He clearly doesnt know those bands 🤣
@@OneAndZer0 Whether they sound the same as current ADTR I’m not sure. I think a lot of bands that were popular mid 2010s have all kind of adopted what I call a more “radio friendly” or “mainstream” sound. I kinda like some of paramores new stuff, never really been a fan of BMTH so I’m not the biggest fan of their new stuff either but some of it hits.
As they always do this new sound will age well. ADTR are PIONEERS & truly authentic and original musicians.
I came here with low expectations, and I was still let down.

They’ve been going downhill since “Rescue Me”
When they dropped MIRACLE I had hopes they learned from the last album. Guess that were false hopes.
I'm not going to lie, I think the last single was bad too. Not quite as bad as this one, but painfully generic, safe, I prevail level butt-core song.

ADTR telling the fans who got them to where they are today that they don’t give a fuck about us
What an asinine thing to say... "I supported your old stuff. How dare you make music I don't enjoy!"
That is quintessential hipster stuff right there... "soooo mainstream.... soooo unoriginal and derivative.... blah blah blah...." It's embarrassing. This song is nothing special, but calm down lol.
They don't owe you a goddamn thing.

Okay genuine question, would people enjoy this song if ADTR didn’t make it, or are we hating on it because they made it?
RIGHT!?
Nah it sucks because it sucks. It just hurts because it's ADTR peddling this garbage to us
id strongly dislike this regardless of whatever band made it, i'd assume its some great value asking alexandria or buckcherry (two other bands i dont like)
Both are fair points, but man I have to be honest I kinda fuck with this song, and I’ve been listening since “and their name was treason”. It definitely sounds different but I’m hoping the whole album doesn’t sound like this
Instrumentally - I love it.
Lyrically - a swing and a miss
Lyrics as sick as fuck. The lyrical delivery though meh.

Come on, guys. We need an album that's straight gas. Every track hard af. Are we going to see that A Day To Remember again? I hope so. When I reminisce of the good times, you guys are a good part of the soundtrack.
This new stuff just makes me sad. From one of your oldest fans - there's my feedback.
At this point, to redeem themselves after you're welcome, miracle, and now this, they'd have to make a song better than the story so far, state champs, and four year strong for us to "have faith in them" again and that's never gonna happen cuz all of those bands were always better than them to begin with lol
I thought you guys were actually making a comeback after Miracle
Yes, Miracle was epic!

@@Joe-oh2ofI mean, it depends on what era of ADTR you're stuck on. I'm still not over the fact they never built on the sound of For Those Who Have Heart, so both this and Miracle are atrocious.

If they wanna hear your feedback they’ll let you know
@Calzonii Is that you Brian? Heard you sucked dick to run errands for the band 😂
The irony of people leaving comments with their feedback on a song about not wanting to hear your feedback
Right? I'm always puzzled by how much people think the bands need/want/care about their opinion, the band pretty much make music for themselves and they are still pretty solid to worry about a song that people don't like, this type of fans are usually the worst part of a band with their shitty behavior and entitlement
@@Jf.Oviedo if you are just making music as a hobby, then sure. But if you want to make money, you should care about the feedback.
I assume feedback is better than not knowing or else businesses wouldn't spend money on surveys unless they're just to make people feel engaged but i know i won't bother giving feedback unless i liked something the business provided.

This song has intense "Only God Can Judge Me" vibes - so, pretty easy to judge
We don't need this! We need DA-DA-DA-DA-DA LET'S GO!!1 That is our feedback guys
Anyways, still love them 🖤
My personal opinion:
ADTR is going through the Asking Alexandria transition of "where do we go from here?" (Yes, pun)
When Danny came back, their self titled album had some bangers, but there were some rough ones.
Tour just might live up to its name. At least FYS and TSSF are capable of doing the heavy lifting.
