Josh and Neil noticed my friends Blink 182 tattoo as we walked near. They called us over to the van and gave us their bracelets so we could get into the show. Great memory. Great Guys.
Because of a tattoo? They gave you bracelets that let you in for free? HAHAHAHAHA! I'm calling bullshit. I'm sure they are good guys. A venue that's packed and they weren't a big band (according to you) and you were walking by and they noticed the tattoo lmao. In my head I can imagine him screaming, "there's a danger in starting a fire, GO!" instead of the "welcome to the eye of the tiger" Would have been cool if they had done that, given the music video and it would have also been a reference to FTWHH.
This band to see live this band. Thee singer has an exceptional voiceI. Guitars and drums are perfect. Greetings from the Czech republic. I hope to visit us someday.
3 years ago I stopped playing guitar and decided to go mainstream. I found out that the shoe doesn't fit and went back to all this metal, cause it made a huge part of my life. I gotta say that this type of music gives so much more back than others, regardless of whether lyrical or instrumental. It's much more powerful than any shitty DJ or pop artists song could be.
tenaciousjoe24 dude yes. And we found out how much of an alcoholic Tom was. But when Tom came back in the wsmfy videos saying he was the shaq of the group.
It doesn't matter if it reminds you of old ADTR. Whats matters is: Do you like it? Do you enjoy it? If not, then get over it and move on to something else, life doesnt stop to appease you just because you're unsatisfied.
Im 30 been rocking this band since they started and they still show what true music is all the ppl that like adtr hit that like button music changes cause the people change to their understanding of the industry and the fans think you adtr for showing that evolution is real even in music
Mark Five are you on drugs? He sounds exactly the same live. The only thing that sound remotely different live is his screams which anyone can understand. If you tour for months in a row, your voice gets strained by all of that.
Thank you for what you do. I am a forever fan of all 3 of them. And what you do brings Chester back for those few moments and brings us back to the good days. Keeps doing what you do. We appreciate it!! 🙏
Im 46 years old and Im old school rock and metal. I've been discovering more rock and metal bands that are absolutely amazing new to me. Keep it up! 🔥🔥🤘
After reading these lyrics I understand where Jeremy is coming from. The past of their music career was built on pain from relationships and struggles from the past. As they grew bigger and reached fame; tour after tour everything began to feel the same. An imposter syndrome started to creep in as years left distance between the subject of old songs and their new lives were set in stone. His focus in creating the empire that is ADTR is the same thing that leaves him feeling disconnected and isolated from the world that’s been left behind through success. New listeners are inteoduced to his “eye of the tiger” represented in the bands work ethic, yet the pain that separates them from their partners, families, and past. It is a blessing, yet a curse.
I love that when I was growing up I listened to them all the time and now my son loves them. When concerts are a thing I’m definitely bringing him to their concert.

That breakdown...my God, it gives me life
Music is life for me
These lyrics hit so hard. Love how some songs just hit home. We all have resentment sometimes.
When i first listened to this track wasn't really trying to feel it honestly. But after a few times...this song goes super hard.
I cannot express how much this song has had an impact on my life. It really means alot to me that its become apart of my life.
Thanks ADTR
That chorus is soooool catchy. Can’t wait for the new album
It’s January 3rd and I’ve been home for 9 days straight. As soon as a make a drink I turn this on to get me pumped. Just got out of really bad relationship and this helps such much
Hope you’re doing ok man.
Arriba vas a estar bien!
@@perrosdelacallepr7496 hola
Same.. just been thrown away after 10 years.... music is all I have left...
@sachin sharma i have 2d women
Been a huge fan since For Those Who Have Heart and this song is the perfect blend of their classic sound with their new sound and it's amazing. I fucking love these guys!!!
I’ve got this song stuck on replay replay _R E P L A Y_
I have been standing by A day to remember back when they were playing shows in garages and little venues like Ray's downtown blues in downtown West Palm Beach. I am so f****** proud of these guys I can't even put it into words how incredible the song is and how amazing you all are I love you guys so much
Jacky Leigh I was seeing them at bars in ybor city, Tampa. Florida represent!
@@barrelroll1919 hell ya!!! So proud of them!!
This band will never fail to impress me. Been listening to them for almost 12 years, and I have yet to be even remotely displeased with anything they've released.
All of the yes. Lyrics hit hard and I like the back and forth between sing and scream.
The chorus is okay, but I’m loving everything else! THIS sounds like the natural progression of ADTR that I wanted to hear
How??? It's the exact opposite.
Adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families meetings is so good for healing. Only for the really hardcore of us who are willing to rip your souls open again to heal 🙏
ADTR cares about the earth and humanity
If you would've told me In 2008 that they would become millionaires & still be around after a decade while a flock of bands burned out, I wouldn't have believed you.
Proud of you ADTR ❤️
Trippin bro. If anyone could do it, it's these guys. They were the biggest thing in the scene back then.
john doe I always knew these guys would live on forever.
*Really cool to see the bands from my old scene days still absolutely killing it. This has been a daily listen for me ever since I discovered it.*
♥️ ADTR FOREVER 🎈
U guys really should do an entire album with this sound. Seriously reminds me of the old days man. Love this sound. Chills everytime
As someone who knows every song they released almost by heart i was a bit suspicious when this song released and i didnt give it a true chance, espically after degenerates... but it really grew on me and i think this song is fucking awesome and that fucking breakdown is everything!!
In my head I can imagine him screaming, "there's a danger in starting a fire, GO!" instead of the "welcome to the eye of the tiger" Would have been cool if they had done that, given the music video and it would have also been a reference to FTWHH.
Stephen Latham dude, this comment fucked me up. That would have been fucking INSANE
Yeah that would have been great but they pretend they didn't write all of the good songs from 10+ years ago XD
So good.
.
Holy fuck that would actually have been amazing! Chills when I re-listened and replaced the words!
That breakdown hit me like my dad used to.
Are you okay?
Yikes
Oof
@@MattOtxoa I think so
@@azziok5228 well, I'm here in case you need to talk bro xD
This band to see live this band. Thee singer has an exceptional voiceI. Guitars and drums are perfect. Greetings from the Czech republic. I hope to visit us someday.
3 years ago I stopped playing guitar and decided to go mainstream. I found out that the shoe doesn't fit and went back to all this metal, cause it made a huge part of my life. I gotta say that this type of music gives so much more back than others, regardless of whether lyrical or instrumental.
It's much more powerful than any shitty DJ or pop artists song could be.
We better get webisodes for Youre Welcome like we did for WSMFY and CC
Galjo Feratovic yess omg
Homesick videos were a classic. Andrew "Big Boss" Wade and his donut
tenaciousjoe24 dude yes.
PREACH! Old ADT, new ADTR, still as good imo from the days of old
Im 30 been rocking this band since they started and they still show what true music is all the ppl that like adtr hit that like button music changes cause the people change to their understanding of the industry and the fans think you adtr for showing that evolution is real even in music
I’ve been watching Stephanie’s ig stories for the longest time and all I can see whenever I see Jeremy is Montana omg
My boys are back, and they’re coming out swinging.
Fallen out with ADTR’s latest work, but Common Courtesy made a huge impact during my punk phase.
Glad to see you guys thriving
This is the most incredible song I’ve heard all year. With how crappy 2020 has been, this masterpiece lifts my spirits.
THIS IS A DAY TO REMEMBER WHAT WE NEED
KEEP IT UP 💪🏾💪🏾
Jeremy's beard is getting better as is his voice....coincidence? *I think not*
Drewstopher every banger grants +5 beard strength
It's actually the beard that's singing
He went from looking like Drake to looking like DJ Khaled.
It sure has changed over time but its still good asf
Mark Five are you on drugs? He sounds exactly the same live. The only thing that sound remotely different live is his screams which anyone can understand. If you tour for months in a row, your voice gets strained by all of that.
Criminally underrated song yall. I've been addicted to this lmao
Thank you for what you do. I am a forever fan of all 3 of them. And what you do brings Chester back for those few moments and brings us back to the good days. Keeps doing what you do. We appreciate it!! 🙏
They are all like brothers too, so that’s cool af
Saw these boys when they were touring for those who have heart. I was like 13 years old. Amazing artists
They are actually getting better each release. Jeremy's voice has improved so much, we are so spoiled. I can't wait for this next record.
Im 46 years old and Im old school rock and metal. I've been discovering more rock and metal bands that are absolutely amazing new to me. Keep it up! 🔥🔥🤘
Please don't ever stop! You guys are amazing and help keep me sane! 🖤
Absolutely amazing guys!
Can't believe to explain how this song has helped me recently!
I can't tell who is liking it
When you think it's gonna end and you're hit with a little more djent there at the end. Nice touch.👏👏👏
Hey dude I know I sound like a noob here but what's this djent business . I keep hearing it but not sure what's its referring too ?
@@DeeD898 The sound the guitar makes after he screams "go" and at the very end. Mostly used for breakdowns. 👍👍🤘🤘
@@DeeD898 It's a specific sound from Palm muteing. It's the guitar sound bands like Periphery, Erra, Born of Osiris..etc feature.
MetalGamesAnimeNERD awesome thank you
Necrotic Reaper thanks so much 👍
I love this song so so much.
Good to hear you guys, your music always gives a feeling of reality.
Jermey’s scream is all, everyone wanted to hear
Welcome to the eye of the tiger
🔥🐯👁🐯🔥
!!!!!!!!!!!GO!!!!!!!!!!
This is what I’ve been internally screaming all my life, thanks for this catharsis.
Such a nice song.
What an awesome looking video. Kudos to the director and cinematographer.
Thanks buddy!
Fuck yes. One of my favourite tracks you guys ever have done and I’ve been a fan for over a decade.
Dude....🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
That's deep
This song has so much special meaning for me.
A whole album of songs like this would be fantastic. Reminds me of Common Courtesy, which is my favourite album.
Talat mehmood
This song still kills it and always gets stuck in my head
So happy to hear this. Rock them weekly in my car for a decade + now. 🤙🤙
I love that when I was growing up I listened to them all the time and now my son loves them. When concerts are a thing I’m definitely bringing him to their concert.
"Florida men set fire to the forests in California"
