Stacey you looked adorable in your new apron!!! Absolutely love the new bag and the tea towel! Super adorable! Matching with your kitchenaid color is soooo neat! A real fan made those for you! God bless and no I don’t like apricots in fact I’ve got a bit of an allergy to them but I will watch the whole episode because I’ve missed ya! I’ll search out the blueberry slice because I love blueberries! ❤️🥰🇨🇦🙏🏻🍁
Stacey you looked gorgeous and very pretty in pink today. I have tried to copy down the recipe for the apricot slice but you didn’t mention the amounts for the pastry. I will keep checking to get this recipe. Many thanks, my husband and I watch every time you come on You Tube. I’m not able to give you a “hands Up” icon on my TV set but try to open up on my iPad so I can let you know how much I like the different recipes.
Your giggle of delight while putting on the pinafore, then the way your voice went talking about the cow on the bag was pure gold, how fantastic to have such wonderful followers. Good to see your face, you were missed x
Hi Stacey, I'm in New Zealand it's great to see you back. Kmart have wooden coat stands at the moment for $27. I love that apron. It's absolutely gorgeous. What a clever lady making that. I had tears in my eyes when I first saw it, and that it matches your mixer, and the tea towel is gorgeous too.
This apricot slice looks delicious, takes me back to when everyone baked good old kiwi recipes. What magazine are you having your recipes published in Stacey? Glad you’re back on your feet again. Take care.
Hi Stacey, loved your reaction to that gorgeous pinny, and the oven door story was hilarious, it’s your wonderful personality as well as your recipes that keep us coming back. Fabulous that you’re recovering well.👍🌏
My Hungarian born grandmother used apricots all the time in her cooking when I was a little girl. This video brought me back to 60 years ago. The apron is lovely. Glad you are doing well.
Good to see you back. I have fond memories of my mums aprons, there was always a sweetie in the pocket, a piece of string, a marble or two a clean hankie, a pencil, a scrap of paper and a peg. It smelt of her what I would give to smell that smell again. Aah memories xx
Hi Stacey….not my Stacey….I hope you get the reference, so happy you are back and doing well, I missed you and worried about you, but I love seeing you with less pain. Keep up the great work gorgeous girl……I love how big your channel has become …..never give up because you are gold..
Ooh yum! And, you've reminded me of one my mum used to make decades ago. Louise slice but with caramel condensed milk instead of jam and l think it may have had brown sugar in the meringue top as well. 😊
Your slice looks delicious. I was waiting for you to put eggs in it but having none would make it more crunchy maybe wouldn't it. Sounds good. So funny about your oven door...
Loving your channel so happy you are recovering. But not as happy I found your channel. you make everything look so easy I even think I can do it to THANK-YOU so much
Just wanted to say how nice it is to see you back, you look well and happy which is great! I love your pinny, it's so nice of her and so clever too. Looking forward to more videos when you're ready, take good care of yourself Stacey and welcome back xx
Everything in the world is all good again because you are back Stacey!. ❤The apron, tea towel and tote bag are gorgeous Elaine. ❤I'm glad your recovery is going well. Go you!❤❤❤❤❤❤
So happy to see you back looking healthy and happy! I love your child-like enthusiasm for you new aprons and gifts. You remind me of Adam Savage of Tested. Both of you make me smile - so heart warming.
Hi Stacy,I have just made an apple slice. Do need to reduce amounts of "cake slice" mix when using smaller slice baking dish,it was fine just took longer to cook as base was thicker .Partner said all good just can I do apricots next time !! Can't complain whilst he was waiting for slice to cook he did the baking dishes. I have cooked English muffins to toast for tomorrow. Thankyou you are a gem, I am finding at 75 it is never to late to try new things
So happy to see you back and so radiant! Glad you're feeling better too! HOWEVER...I'm gonna miss The Spoon. You need to find a way to frame it and hang it up to commemorate it's service LOL.
So good to have you back, Stacy!! I expected youd be out at least 8 weeks but you look great, just don't overdo! I've got a soft spot for apricots - your bars look delicious. Thank you for sharing ❤
Fellow Kiwi here. That slice looks just like the apricot slice that used to be my absolute favourite bakery treat. Have bought the odd piece from various bakeries over the years but, have given up now as, it's never right - the apricot is always some weird paste which l suspect doesn't contain much actual apricot and is FAR too sweet. Looking forward to trying your recipe. 😊
Lovely to have you back. The last fortnight has done you a world of good. In the immortal words of Fernando Lamas, "You look marvelous!" Coincidentally, I've had apricots on my mind all week. When I was a boy, Mother would serve canned apricots as a Sunday breakfast treat before church, so this brought back wonderful memories. I love your IMMACULATE kitchen. It's like looking at a warm hug, and I imagine it smells like heaven after that confection came out of the oven. But I will miss the spoon.
Welcome back! So glad your op was successful, and you're feeling rested and refreshed. Thanks for this recipe, looks delish. Love the apron! Thanks to Elaine too 🙂
Awww Stace!!! You are looking fantastic, so glad Ur surgery and recovery went well. Absolutely love the gorgeous gifts you were sent. Great to have your beautiful face back xxx
Hi Stacey love to watch your videos what lovely gifts you got when you mentioned apricot slice I automatically thought of a crumble blueberry and apple crumble with custard just like my dad used to make thanks for your recipes 😊
Morning from coventry I the UK. Sitting making a card and watching YOU. MY mum and l like trying New thing's. THANK YOU for sharing your day. And so glad YOU are feeling better . Take care and all the best. 😊😊😊
It is so good to see you back but even more important so glad to see you our of pain! I love your new apron. We are entering summer heat here near Chicago. I'm going to be revisiting this video in our fall. I don't want to heat up the house. This looks so good! You always give me something to look forward to.
Great to see you back live!! It’s cold here in country Victoria especially in the mornings. Love apricot desserts so I’ll be making this. Loved the pressies, Elaine is very clever
BTW, if you're trying to think of things to do with apricots, try adding them to braised lamb shanks. It makes a lovely rich sauce with just a hint of sweetness. Prunes will work, too. I like to serve it over couscous, but anything to sop up the gravy is good.
Hi Stacey, I happen to find one of you're vids, since then I've bindge watch all of them, so much to learn from you, thankyou so much for your lovely recipes, loving them, huzzz from South Africa, South Coast 🎉
Stacey I really love watching your channel, you are so natural and an everyday person and I feel scared to try your recipes. Keep on being you and don't change for anyone. Love a fellow kiwi ❤️
