  • Vid showing some mods and fixes to the bike. The TSP ERM is a must have for these all electronic bikes now. There is no other way to tune anything. The suspension mods were worth the money too if you want a more supple ride than the stock form. I am really liking the bike now that it is running better and handling better.

Hey, good video! Your chain looks tight, make sure you have plenty of slack. Take off the shock and make sure the chain has enough slack through the stroke.

Chain is good. Probably looked tight cause I was turning the wheel backwards. I made a small wood spacer that is 58mm tall that I use to check it with.

The battery most likely died because of the parasitic devices you have installed. I have the Voyager Pro nav unit and it drained my bike as well. Not sure if you had the TSP map pod on your bike over night but those also will drain your battery. If you don't have anything wired to your bike the batteries are excellent and will not drain. Also, the stock batteries are actually very good despite with Slavens says, and they are made to be drained and then charge back up just like a cordless drill. Love your capacitor set up. I was unsure if the 24 XCW would push start without a battery but I guess you found out and that's why you have the capacitor set up. Thanks for the video, I look forward to your future vids.

Didn't have the ESP pod on but I did have the Voyager Pro still on the bars. And it was sitting in the cold for a couple weeks. I take it off now when not using it. I have 2 other 2020 KTM bikes with the same battery and they have never givin me issue.

@@baldknobby Thanks baldnobby. That is strange about your stock battery and maybe there is something else going on. Regardless, that is an awesome battery that you did install so it is extra nice to have so great call. Can you post a video on your solenoid set up? Maybe where you got it, how you routed everything, etc.? Like me, I think there are a lot of people that think the 24 XCW will just bump start if the battery goes out... Thanks man!

Yes, please do a video on the capacitor setup. How you routed it and where you purchased it. Thank you in advance.

Yeah….I’ll be sticking too a carb bike without all that electronic crap. Too each their own. Nice ride.

Your battery is built for weight, but on my Honda I have a 7 year old Yuasa battery that has not needed any charging or jump. Safe Travels!

Good info here. Thanks for the tips. Yea no kickstarter definitely means you have to fully trust your battery.

Where did you get the capacitor upgrade from….and was it hard to install?
