    Slavens and TPS are both too notch service. I won't go in to detail how well they take care of their customers, but they worked together on a Saturday night up to midnight to get my bike back up and rolling. Now that's customer service a d people who appreciate your business. They are F*ing awesome.

    Thanks for the video! I'm going to try one of these out. I've tried quite a few mods on the 24 250 XCW, and just for fun I swapped the cylinder for an XC/SX version. The porting differences between the cylinders are easy to see and measure, and the XC/SX cylinder moves the power to Mid/High RPMs from the Low/Mid power characteristics that the XCW cylinder is designed to produce. Now the bike revs out like the XC/SX, but the XCW has a heavier flywheel so it's not quite as aggressive. Some other parts have to be changed as well, but I think the porting made the biggest difference in overall power. I can rev it out several seconds longer before it falls off the power, and many times that's enough to prevent the need to shift before the next turn.

    I only just got mine tuned with the same TSP tune and its amazing how much it woke up the bike. ERM is worth every penny in my opinion.

    I got the ERM for my 23 250xc and it really made a difference. Pretty surprising. I didn't initially do a powervalve reset, which I should have. When I finally did, the bike is an absolute rocket ship. I really don't see the need in getting the head, I feel like any more power would make it almost unrideable for my skill level.

    I deal with Alec as well and like you said, he's great to work with. Right now Slavens has the ERM on back order, soon as that lifts I should have mine. Any chance you can do a in-depth vid on the ERM changes you've made and how you found your sweet spot once you get some time under your belt? It's a huge benefit to us when learning from pro riders like yourself - that way we can set up the bike and dial it in perfectly. Man it's great to watch you rip on that thing! Cheers...

    Just found RUclips channel. Already subscribed. Picking up my new 2025 Husqvarna TX300 Heritage Edition on 12/3. Already planning on getting the TSP high compression head and ECU reflash and their new bigger power valve cover. I’ve always ran Ethanol Free Super Unleaded mixed with VP race gas at 50:1 in my YZ285. Ethanol Free is way better for 2 stroke top ends. Leaves no varnish buildup in carb bikes 👍

    With the ERM, you can detune one of your maps too to better suit sloppy/ slick conditions. And like you said, the power valve adjustment can make a huge difference on the power delivery. One thing i probably would have mentioned is that you were probably using the pro mode which costs $50 additional, but it was well worth the price, IMO. I'm still messing with mine. But actually looking forward to people sharing their setting and comparing them. Any plans on doing the oil injection delete?

    • @ColeKirkpatrick
      @ColeKirkpatrick  9 месяцев назад +3

      Great comment, I do have the pro mode but I started with basic to get an understanding of how things affected the bike first. I don't plan on deleting the oil injection.

      It's from the guys at MotoMinded in Grand Junction, Colorado. I'm running a 2020-2023 XC-W headlight mask with a kit that they sell with a Baja Designed unit that bolts in with three screws. Moto Minded also sells the pigtail that allows the the new plug on the 24 xc-w bikes to work with the older generation lights. The reason I run the old mask is that it gives me enough room to mount up my GPS unit behind the handlebars.

    Hi,
    There is a difference of 8 hp between xc and xcw.
    Could TSP module increase xc power?
    How is the fuel consumption with the TSP module?

    • @ColeKirkpatrick
      @ColeKirkpatrick  9 месяцев назад +1

      The TSP ERM would for sure give you the ability to get more power and more rideability out of the XC. Good question on the fuel consumption, I haven't noticed much of a change over stock consumption. I notice fuel consumption being much more affected by riding sandy tracks and trail vs. hard pack trail as well as riding race pace vs. trail pace.

I only have the Basic - Much appreciated

      I have a ‘23 300 xc and a ‘24 300 xcw. I upgraded the xcw with a tsp high comp head and their ecu reflash. These upgrades are both improvements over the stock and the green map gets u closer to xc type performance. Still, imo, the xc is a straight-up beast and sooo much fun to ride!!! Throttle response is noticeably quicker on the xc and the top end rocks. For me personally, riding more technical single track, the xc isn’t any faster but it’s a blast to ride. If smooth is fast, the xcw is my best bet. My only complaint with the xcw now, is the slower throttle response. It’s negligible for general trail riding but in the slow technical stuff, there’s a little room for improvement.

    • @vaenii5056

      Isn't that basically what the XC model is? EXC (XC-W in the United States) is for enduro, SX is for motocross and XC is for cross country - think of something like GNCC and NHHA. It's based on the SX and it's not sold outside the United States.
