    Thanks for the video, looking forward to the install video. Pleasure to see a great product out there from a Aussie company.

    I’ve got this kit on my bike. You’re going to love it. Completely cleans up the annoying low end stutter and makes more power everywhere, but the power delivery is buttery smooth so it is very easy to ride.

    After watching this and your other TSP video(which I trust as an independent review so thanks for this) I am going to order the TSP kit. Do you know if there is any difference in performance or otherwise if I order just the insert & ERM to use on my stock head instead of ordering the TSP head?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  5 месяцев назад +2

      There performance should be the same whether using a TSP insert in a TSP head cap, or the stock KTM head cap. However, there might be a cooling difference between them. I'll ask TSP and see what they say and provide another reply...

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  5 месяцев назад

      TSP confirmed that the performance will be similar and that there is a small cooling difference (TSP head cooling is slightly better). They said running the stock cap with the TSP insert is fine though, so the choice is yours...

    Can you use the ERM without the TSP head?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, ERM doesn't know what head you're using. And you can customize the TSP map using the ERM (fuel, ignition and power valve) to your liking. The basic tuning mode (included with the ERM) allows course adjustments over rpm and throttle (only 4 cells total) and if you want finer control you can purchase the Pro tuning mode which has 30 cells.

    How r u finding the fuel on the new bike couple of my mates have got the hard enduro and the pump doesn’t reach to the last 2 litres so it’s a bit of a nightmare when doing trails I’d of thought someone would of brought out a solution by now but haven’t seen anything?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  10 месяцев назад +2

      I've only had problems while riding on road with low fuel in the tank. On rough offroad riding fuel splashes up into the central fuel pickup and doesn't seem to be so much of an issue. If you running low on fuel and the engine starts cutting out because it can't pick up fuel while riding on road, or smooth trails, I've found the best way to to get fuel into the pick is to get the front wheel high (run up a bank, or do a wheelie). If that's not possible then try leaning the bike fully over and pick it up quickly to splash some fuel over. I haven't seen a solution to fix this yet, but am sure someone is working on something...

      AFAIK Two Stroke Performance don't make any kits for four stroke bikes. Your kit must be from a different company...

    I was surprised how high the fuel consumption was on my friends TBI models. Maybe that is addressed as well with the kit?

    • @TokyoOffroad
      @TokyoOffroad  10 месяцев назад

      Yes, the stock TBI fuel consumption is pretty bad, certainly compared to TPI. Will see if it improves with use of the kit and TSP tune...

      @@woodysrockspyro6436 Yes, I recently test rode a Sherco 300 SE and found bottom end power to be very good (video link below). However, my 2024 KTM 300 EXC TBI bottom end power is also very good, especially the lugging performance. Regarding fuel economy, I'd say the the TBI is similar to most carb 300s, but quite a bit worse than TPI 300s. I doubt the Sherco 300 SE is significantly better than the 300 EXC TBI. ruclips.net/video/1vwuXrOP6Lc/видео.htmlsi=EUur5zSt5B-CNxuZ&t=669

      @@TokyoOffroad I bought a new 23 xc250 and ordered a head kit from TSP. The bike sat new for a couple months and I had an opportunity to sell it and replace with a new '24 xc300. I emailed TSP and asked if I could exchange the head and that I would pay for all shipping both ways. No reply. A week later I emailed again stating I was happy to pay any difference in price and shipping both ways. No reply. That was their way of saying FU I guess. Glad you had a good experience. Mine was very poor and I would not recommend them to anyone!
