Being upset over a possible unwanted pregnancy and then actively deciding to have a child in the same conversation, kind of shows to me that the child in question is just a prop in the mother's life, not a real person that needs to loved and taken care of. The religious angle is just there to help wash their hands easier, isn't it? Why take responsibility for anything you ever do when it's "god's will"?

    Level: impossible

    • @KellyeR1970
      @KellyeR1970 4 месяца назад +1

There are fake Christians and false churches because nowhere in the Bible and I mean absolutely nowhere does it say it's OK harm to ypur child or anyone else for that matter. We are called to love others and harming a child is one of the worst possible things you can do. Just because someone claims to be a Christian or believe in God does not make it true. There plenty of people who go to church every Sunday ,but then turn around and be completely awful people. People who use religion as an excuse to harm to anyone are the worst of the worst.

Using dehumanizing rhetoric, "too lacking intelligence to be a human", shows your ignorance about the flaws in human nature. Religious zealotry + delusions of possession in a child = abuse, both physical and emotional, and sometimes death. This is hardly something new in religious communities. It's been going on for decades. Google "death by exorcism".

I grew up in a religious family and yes, one of the first things they think of when dealing with any abnormality, is possession. I was 3 and I also cried a lot at night, my parents said they "didn't know what to do" and so resorted to violence. I'm glad I didn't die, but this case hits close to home for me, it's sad such an innocent child had to go through that, I hope she's in a better place now❤️‍🩹

I believe that their church had some radical beliefs. I don't understand why the Catholic religion was continually mentioned because they were Pentecostal. That combined with superstitions they may have had from El Salvador can be a recipe for disaster.
I found a news article regarding this case and it really shed light on it. Here's a quote: Timothy Wadkins, a theology professor at Canisius University, said that while pentecostal churches in El Salvador are known to practice exorcism - and that fasting is often part of the ritual - using exorcism on a three-year-old is unusual.
“It’s certainly true that the sort of radical fringe of Pentecostals believe in exorcisms and practice them and believe people can be possessed by the devil,” Wadkins said. “They believe that laying your hands on people and calling the devil out in the name of Jesus is a way to rid them of their possessions. You don’t see that too often in Pentecostal circles today, but you do see them in the radical fringe.”

I try not to say people are monsters or they're stupid or whatever because I can't help but feel like it diminishes some of the responsibility held by the culprits. IMO, The baby's father is out of the picture, so the mother wanted the baby gone, either to get the father back (maybe he never really wanted a kid, either), or to punish him for leaving, or just because she never wanted a kid to begin with. So the mother told the possession story to the brother and pastor father to have them help her kill her child, and to give her 'witnesses' for the demon 'alibi'. No idea if the two men knew what was really up, or not. Then, she uploads those RUclips videos to give herself a character witness, like, 'look I'm a nice person'! Except, that didn't work, because she couldn't hide her utter indifference. That's my take.

MOST religious people don’t turn to exorcism or believe their child have been possessed, but there are some who do. I believe this was such a case. It doesn’t make it right, however. You as a parent, whenever your child feel discomfort to such an extent that they’ll cry and scream for hours in end, take them to the doctor.

Which is utterly irresponsible, arrogant, ignorant and criminal, so much they killed her, but it is a scenario that unfortunately makes sense in the minds of fanatical people even if we ourselves don't agree with it... =[

Even if you do believe she was possessed then surely you want her to make it out of it alive right?
Humans need air, it's unfortunate but I think we all know its a requirement. You're probably correct that they just wanted her dead.
To throw out another theory that I have zero evidence for, could it have been a sacrifice of some kind? With the possession just being the most braindead excuse of all time.

i do really think they are trying to cover up something else...maybe the child must have had abuse right fron home....and they made up an excuse that she was crying because of demonic possession and stuff.... remember she got pregnant not because she really wanted a chuld but out of shock there is a high chances of hatred towards the child that must have surmounted
Even if it was true , shes a Psychopath for doing what she did to her child..

Excellent videos. So happy to see you’ve uploaded more.
I think it’s possible that they did believe the child was possessed folie en famille- shared psychosis. Hopefully all of us would have triaged differently- asking child why she was upset, perhaps taking a temp and 8536 other things before landing anywhere near a demonic possession.
The lack of remorse and complacency demonstrated doesn’t indicate psychopathy to me. I think they really believed that what happened to her was her was caused by some outside force they had to fight to control. It’s beyond ridiculous, but Claudia was raised in her father’s church- the beliefs were her reality.

So instead of taking the little girls temperature, ask her if she is in pain , take her to the hospital, she straight away thinks this normally ‘non crying’ well behaved child is possessed?
I’m no Bible scholar but I believe
Jesus simply commanded spirits to leave the body he never did what these people did ……poor little girl .
Who the heck thinks to ‘remove’
something ‘ demonic ‘ should be done by themselves actually being ‘ demonic’ because what they did was absolutely violent & evil toward that precious gorgeous little girl .
How a mother can brush off the death of her child with no emotion or tears is not human to me …….I’d need sedating I’d be an absolute mess for the rest of my life !!
    Really really sad 😢

Wow, touching story. But I want to point out, you might overestimate the capabilities of certain cult people. My brother is in one. I think he and his wife wouldn't do this, but during the period they wanted to drag me into the cult I met with people who are at this level of mindset. They would go to the pastor instead of a doctor. And depending on the pastor if he is also at their level, the same exact story could happen.
You as a sane minded person won't understand this mindset, nor me. All the actions you say comes from basic understanding of the world. They simply don't have it probably.

i’ve never heard of a case before of an exorcism being performed on a child of such a young age! i agree that their alibi of “suspected possession” could just be their way of avoiding harsher accusations. if anything, i don’t think a church pastor has that kind of religous authority to perform an exorcism. only certified priests can even consider exorcism as a viable solution - the very last and final solution! - after exhausting all other methods (e.g. medical exams, psychological assessment).
so, yeah, their choice of an exorcism still doesn’t fully prove that they knew what they were doing nor their awareness of Catholic doctrine that specifically identifies or rules out cases of actual possession.
i’m very curious who the grandfather was in a call with as the events of the crime unfolded… the only area in this case i can readily question is the “religous nature” that the three adults claimed to have, since “a family” is a prominent tenet in Catholicism and it can be easily misconstrued into situations where familial ties outweigh the morals of society. Then they are still guilty, but with considerations towards their “background”.
if there was another underlying motive, i can only hope that the whole truth will be revealed and the criminal offenders will be justly punished - regardless of which faith they belong to.

I disagree with the analysis. I think they did believe that she was possessed. They were trying to make her vomit out the demon, so they wouldn't stop until she vomited. It doesn't make them any less guilty, though.

19:41 Hmmm the discussion section is way off base. Being from 98 percent Hispanic city with a majority catholic population, and also being raised in a Hispanic catholic family, I can tell you that pregnancies out of wedlock are very much the norm and people who go through it do not consider themselves any less religious. I’ve known people of a various degrees of religious devotion and people will use religion to justify a number of fucked up acts. Of course this is an awful and extreme case, but it’s not a stretch to think that religious delusion would lead to the death of a defenseless innocent. Your line of thought is very logical and rational, but these are not rational people.

One of the greatest national shameful histories were the Magdalene Laundries and "fallen women/ mother and babies" "Homes"...
      It's sickening.
Still many broken families and men/women wondering what it why it happened to them and majority of society turned a blind eye to the abuse.
Some of the babies who were forcefully taken away from their mothers were sold to orphanages in the USA and elsewhere. Some adopted by families but later in life found their blood relatives via DNA testing etc..

If ANYONE dies infront of you even if you know they’re gone forever without a doubt you still call the fucking police right then and there. When we found my brothers corpse we called the police right then and there despite his body having been visibly mutilated and dead. (He died around 3am, body was found around 1pm) when someone dies you. CONTACT. THE. POLICE. you don’t wander around you don’t leave. You scream you cry you disassociate as you type in those damn three numbers because THAT. Is all that matters in the moment. Their alibi is bullshit. They’re bullshit. The death and murder was intentional.

That its obvious u shouldn't do that. But for someone who comes from a different country or culture it might not be so obvious not saying they are uneducated but they may believe different things. Ppl are different in different parts of the world and even the most craziest things to us might be normal to them.. im just wondering if thats thr case here.

Now I'm not saying the child was possessed and I'm not saying the child was not possessed stories like Roland doe or latoya ammos stories got discredited by people until cops were even like yea this kid is possessed. Just be careful out there. If you don't believe in demons and possession then that's fine but it doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. Just wait til the full story comes out.
