I'm confused. How on earth is running into traffic on a highway not deemed to 'be a risk to the public or to yourself'?

Last week I found out that I have an upside-down butthole.
Sabina needs lifetime supervision in a psych hospital. Anyone that did what they did will always be a danger to society. Sad the relatives of the man she murdered got no justice.
Illuminati kidnap children all the time for human sacrifice or programming them to be super soldiers. These two are breaking away and all have suicide programs as well. U tube has many videos on this.
I just don't understand how they literally ran into 18 wheelers and didn't get killed right on the spot. Any other time the truck would win not the person. It was like they had some super natural strength. This story has always just freaked me out.
The video shows she didn’t get in front of it. It looks like she was clipped and rolled underneath but as long as her head wasn’t touched she would still be fine
Think of that one twin, in less than a 72 hour period she was struck twice by a car, the second time she shattered the window of the car and bounced into the air several feet, and then jumped off a bridge forty feet high onto a busy motorway and only broke her ankles and skull. Insane.
I agree with everything that you wrote right here. And even the very end I actually came back to this video because I often thought about it over the last 11 years and it definitely freaks me out knowing that their limbs were still intact after numerous vehicles running into them and running over them.
I have to admit I found that insanely strange. I've done hundreds of X rays in people Vs vehicle accidents and never have I seen someone have no serious injuries before
I felt the same at first. But if we look at the second sister, she is hit by a smallish vehicle not going fast at all at the collision point. She was wearing an overcoat and a thick sweater. These can act as cushions to some degree. She has an athletic-looking physique and agility. Another factor is that she encountered a sloping windshield that could lessen the force of the collision. Also the vehicle was braking hard, so that would cause the front end to slope more downwardly, again reducing the force of the collision for her. Add in some sharp reflexes and some luck. But yes initially it seemed close to supernatural.
Moral of the story: for heaven's sake, people. Don't be inviting strange, crazy ladies into your house overnight.
Authorities shouldn't have let them walk free without a psych evaluation. That was the main mistake.

This story is so bizarre. I also think of the trauma to the responders and drivers who experienced all of this as well.

I agree! I watch a lot of true crime channels & I just discovered this channel today and I love the format! Him telling us his opinions & giving his theories is so awesome! Most just tell the story of what happened. Like you said, it doesn’t feel like he’s just telling us a story, it feels like we’re having a conversation with a friend. Plus the campfire makes me feel cozy instead of scared 😅

It popped into my head again today & that’s how I found this channel. I hope he gets found one day or we find out what happened to him. I’ve always found his disappearance so strange, especially since London has so many people & it’s always crowded, yet nobody saw him disappear. And nobody even knows why he went to London to begin with
Identical twin connection in sisters is incredibly real and strong, even when separated. So sad that poor man was only trying to help a sick lady and lost his life. Interesting that she was able to vanish after all this.

@@citrusbutter7718 There’s a difference between hearing/reading about running into traffic and actually seeing someone struck by a car. An interest in the topic doesn’t necessarily mean an interest in seeing it happen. I think it’s common courtesy.
@@citrusbutter7718 Blame the YT algorithm for that. Videos will get deleted or demonetized if the creators say or use certain words in their content. I don’t know how effective this approach is when it comes to keeping stuff like this away from kids, but that’s why people are bleeping and misspelling words.
That said, you never know what sorts of traumas or stressors a person might have. I have diagnosed PTSD. I can and will be thrown into a panic response over certain sounds or phrases. However, if I’m given a small warning in advance that those sounds or phrases *might* show up, I don’t have as much of a reaction.
Content and trigger warnings aren’t just to tell people not to watch, or to keep things “PG,” but to prepare those who might have issues and allow them to watch the content safely and comfortably.
This case has always fascinated me. I never could understand how two people could flip like that. But then again, there’s a lot we don’t know about them. Anyway, it’s always good to see another video from you.

I think that they were programmed assassins. The fact that they are twins, I can’t help but think about how sets of twins were a part of some of the weird Nazi experiments to create programmed assassins. The part where she hit herself in the head, with a hammer I believe, I think that is a self destruct mode that was part of the programming!

That's what I was thinking, this "Adventure" that they started, seemed to stem from the sisters marital issues... if it was from amphetamines, they easily could have done them before leaving, & the way to get access to them, would have been from the sister who ended up in the hospital, leaving the other sister, who flew from the US, possibly not used to the long term effects of such a strong drug, which then turns into psychosis, the longer shes awake, but we will never know if it was some long drawn out, get high, run away, which turns into, "what the... did we just do" or run away from real abuse since they went to the police, & now they just haven't slept, mode...
My fiancé is a twin. Her twin has schizophrenia but my fiancé does not have signs. One day her sister seemed to just snap and has been in and out of treatment. My fiancé often tells me that she is afraid of being with her sister as she’s afraid of both of them going into a delusional state. Or as if her sister can unlock hidden schizophrenia by being around her
The UK has a long history of releasing nutters without charges, and giving out a lot of slap on the hand sentences.
So do a lot ot European countries.

You're a valuable asset not only to your community here on RUclips, but I believe as an investigator. You shed light on so many facts that other documentaries and articles ignore and although you cannot state your revolatory opinions, they are so important and valuable when studying cases like this.
This Folie-a-deux condition is fascinating to read up on; and has many interesting examples... but does it serve as an excuse for, from least serious to worst, assaulting a police officer and paramedics, and then murdering a man?

I recently stumbeled upon your channel and I like videos such as this very much.
Many other videos about cases like this are overly dramatic which leads to an artificially creepy vibe which I don't like.
Your videos on the other hand are both thrilling and down to earth. You hook one up without beiing cringy and creepypasta childish like.
It's very authentic and on the top you always have say something substantially to say yourself. Not every theorie has to be true but it has to be explained and reasoned which is definitly true for yours.

To start I think we’d need to know why exactly Ursula travelled to see her sister, and her background in the US. Was it pre-planned, did she also have a family etc?
Then we’d need to know what Sabina’s argument was about with her husband, was it due to the fact her sister and turned up uninvited, and that she planned to go on a trip with her out of the blue?
Next would be, what was their actual plan if they hadn’t got chucked off the bus, where was their final destination?
I think personally that it could be a very twisted plan to do with a double suicide pre-arranged years before the event, that they committed too, due to their bond to one another as twins. However, I think to even agree to this would indicate that they both suffered from mental illnesses to some extent.
My main question is how they were able to appear “normal” whenever they chose to, to get back out of the trouble they were in. It really is one of the most odd sequences of events I’ve ever heard.

When the story first came out it was said the twins had been separated in early childhood and reconnected over the internet. This version of events did not portray that though.
Also, they would have been tested for narcotics at the hospital before being given more drugs. The original story stated there were no drugs in the system.
I'm Swedish and I never heard of these twins until some years ago on an American show I think. Sweden loves to follow crimes and accidents abroad concerning Swedish people. So as a swede, we haven't heard anything about them either.
That's really strange. it was very hard getting any details for this case even when I was willing to pay, often the answer was just no.
Could be complete fiction. TV is make-believe.

My two cents...
1. There is much more to Sabina home life than we know...whether that was domestic abuse or drug abuse we will never know.
2. They are identical twins and I imagine folie et deux, if it's real, would at least be tripled in intensity by that unique bond and literal sharing of same DNA.
3. The judge probably had the power to have her spend her sentence in a psychiatrist facility and not prison, so why didn't he do that to ensure he "protected the public."
4. Anyone who actively runs into oncoming traffic in that manner should have a psychiatric evaluation and the real crime is the cuts to the system that prevented this from happening.

yeah i just doubt its real. there is no scientifically known mechanism in the brain that allows sibilngs to be "linked" in this sort of manner, it makes way more sense that it was just 2 methhead sisters who got off the hook

I remember this story on the news back in the day. It was something from The Matrix, the way those girls ran into traffic and just kept going after colliding hard with a car. Really bizarre.

They were demon possessed. Nothing else can explain it. The super-human strength, the instant recovery from major trauma, the absence of conscience, zero personal safety concern, verbal and physical abuse, etc.
A folie a deux, shared psychosis, is very real. Happens a lot in twins and families. No demon possession here.
Apparently, for this “Folie a Deux” the primary subject is usually the more domineering part of the couple, whilst the secondary tends to be more impressionable, meek or easily led.
In 1974 Lucian Floru conducted a review of nearly 250 cases of this “shared psychosis” and the sister/sister relationship is where there is more tendency for this psychosis to take place.
Putting that in to context that Sabina and Ursula are identical twins can only go to compound that theory.
Another thing is, for this to qualify for Folie a Deux, the primary had to be showing signs of psychosis before the secondary developed the mutual psychosis.
Considering that Sabina did the stabbing, I think that Sabina was the primary, with Ursula deciding to visit, and support her sister who she knew was struggling with her mental health, which culminated in to a row with Sabina’s husband once Ursula turned up in Ireland, and Ursula and Sabina leaving Ireland for Liverpool.
The bit of reading I have done under this psychiatric disorder, a part of the treatment is to separate the 2, where the secondary usually recovers from their psychosis without medical intervention, however the primary, because they have had to have been psychotic before reflecting their psychosis on to the secondary, medical intervention, strong meds and so on, has to be prescribed.
So Sabina was released from hospital, into police custody, where she showed no concerns for her sister, who had been severely injured, which is not unusual for someone who is suffering a severe mental health episode.
Those suffering severe mental health tend to have no thought for anyone else, they become completely wrapped up in themselves, showing no compassion or empathy for anyone else.
My son worked in mental health for years, and he often commented on the lack of empathy, compassion, or consideration of those suffering from mental health, someone who is that severely ill, just do not have the capacity for these traits, he often told me.
He often told me about the strength those suffering from severe mental episodes exhibited, grannies weighing around 8 stone wet through, needing 2 or 3 persons to restrain them.
As for drugs used, surely any substances that these sisters may have taken, would have been detected in any blood tests carried out, Ursula would certainly have had blood tests due to her injuries, and most likely Sabina would have had a blood test too.
And if any substances had been detected, wouldn’t this have been the first line, or a part of her defence for Sabina, something I don’t think I have heard mentioned.
All in all, I am leaning towards Folie a Deux, and I do believe the judge was correct in his sentencing.
Sabina was not compos mentis at the time of the stabbing, which was exhibited with the monstrous lack of care, and safety for herself by running out into a busy motorway, and jumping from a 40ft bridge.
A truly intriguing case, a “Good Samaritan,” trying to help a fellow human being in their search for their sister, lost his life, which is incredibly sad, little did he know when he handed out that olive branch to Sabrina, that was the beginning of the end for him.
I agree I would think if they were active drug users and they didn't want their bag searched for having drugs. Wouldn't the police know since they put her belongings in a bag for her to take? I'm not totally sure how the police work but I would assume they would check her belongings before giving them back? 🤔
@@blackrose1522 considering the state of these 2 ladies, the police would certainly have gone through their bags, looking for forms of ID, as they were clearly not from the UK, and any contacts they could.

The theory that they were drug addicts/ took drugs makes a lot of sense. Espescially the part with sleep deprivation induced psychosis. I've experienced it myself: School was so incredibly stressful (because of all the pressure me parents and teachers put on me) for me that I could barely sleep (max. 4 h at a time) and because I had to stay awake to study and do my homework I just drank a ton of coffee and energy drinks and got hallicuniations (visual and auditory) after a few weeks and I also suffered from the other symptoms that you described (anxiety, suspicion towards others, unclear thoughts etc.). It even got to the point where my reflection was smiling at me even though I wasn't and I heard screams in my head that sounded extremely real. I was 14 btw. So yeah, don't be too hard on your kids and improve the goddamn school system. If your brain and your body is in the middle of puberty then the concept of our school system is not going to work. Simple as that. Anyways, your video was really good and I enjoyed watching it :)

There were no drugs in their system. See back in biblical times people knew exactly what this is. This is demon possession if I ever did see. People r in denial. If it were shared sychosis they would not have had the strength they did. This is exactly what possession is. But people just don't want to hear the truth. People don't like knowing this is out there so they pretend that it doesn't. And if they except this then they would have to except that there is a God and He is the God of the Bible.
Yeah toxicity tests would have been done and nothing was said or indicated about drugs in the blood.

I have read about this story numerous time, but i still can't comprehend what happen in their head. It just.... So bizarre and surreal, there are alot of case of someone being insane and committing murder but this one just felt different

Wow.. I've heard of these two but never knew they were from sweden originally. Definitely a strange case, so many questions. I've only heard of that madness for two condition maybe 2 other times and even then one of them seemed like a cover to excuse murdering children.

Fascinating case and great video. One thing you didn't say which I think is worth mentioning, is that being found to be psychotic due to drink or drugs makes a huge difference in sentencing in the UK. The 5 year sentence suggests her culpability was found to be very very low, which doesn't tend to be the case if psychosis is found to be induced by illegal drugs.
I’d heard the phrase before, folie a deux, but I wasn’t really sure what it meant or what it described. I’d also seen a programme about this case a few years ago. You have done a great job in telling the facts of what happened and also with your analysis. Very interesting and informative.
How and why I did find this channel only now? Very good work compared to other videos about the same cases. I also like the "beep" warning system, although I don't need it myself.

Its worth adding too that there are people with predispositions towards psychosis, and these people are often affected by certain drugs differently than many people are. I think that a psychotic predisposition combined with stimulants and/ or other drug use could have exacerbated the states of psychosis the sisters suffered from.
your videos are remarkably above average quality in this 'segment' here on youtube. it's clear how you care about doing diligent research and being respectful of the video subjects. about this case specifically, all videos I've watched were full of misinformation (about psychosis, I'd know because I had a psychotic break myself) and over the top, except yours. I look forward to your next uploads and wish you success.

I’m from Cork and never knew that one of these sisters lived here. This story is fascinating but I still wonder about her home life and why she left her family. I think there’s more to that.
I was curious about that too. Cork police followed up later but didn't turn up anything unusual. I suspected that perhaps it was an abusive relationship but there's no evidence to suggest it was

As someone with diagnosed schizophrenia, basically every drug has the potential to give someone an episode of psychosis. Even caffeine can do this. But yeah the most dangerous thing, at least for me, is lack of sleep. That's the biggest trigger for psychosis. The meds I'm on have the "side effect" of putting me to sleep, but that's actually a good thing, it means I can actually sleep every night, which otherwise I've never been able to do for my entire adulthood, always had intense chronic insomnia. The anti psychotics have their own anti psychotic actions in my body too, and the side effect of making me sleep is just meant to be that, just a side effect, but it's just as important as the chemicals doing anti-psychotic actions, giving me sleep, it helps my mind stay stable just as much. So yeah these women could have simply been lacking any sleep for days or only sleeping a couple of hours a night or something. And then if they used caffeine in the morning to wake themselves up more because they're so tired, then even that caffeine can give them psychosis.
I love the meds I'm on now, for this reason, cos I don't need caffeine anymore cos I sleep at least 8 hours a night now. It's the best med I've ever been on for the schizophrenia, called Quetiapine. The worst med I was ever on for it was called Olanzapine which is a demon medication. It makes absolutely everyone who takes it severely obese. It did it to me too, and permanently fucked up my spine so that I'm forever disabled now. As soon as I stopped taking Olanzapine and got switched ontla better medication I lost 10 stone (140 lbs, or 63.5 kilograms) within a year and a half.

Thank you for breaking everything down at the end! It was so interesting learning about the Folie a Deux. I agree with the lack of sleep, which, heck, I'm a nurse, & when I used to work ridiculous long shifts, I won't lie, i definitely had to get a solid hard 8 hrs of sleep after, a lot of medical staff actually use uppers to keep going. When I started working in HR, I had to fire an actual surgeon who was using coke before surgeries, he was fired for leaving to many items in ppl, plus his psychotic actions, believing he was untouchable. It was nerve racking just to do that job too! Your explanation about how the second sister, who still was "Going" after her sister was hospitalized, was definitely dealing with either or, no sleep, or amphetamines/some type of upper that she's now hallucinating to extreme extent. Plus if it started as a situation where her sister came to visit her, she was able to vent and go out with her to tell her all her problems at home, and even maybe the one that did have the psychotic episode, since she wasn't from that area age was visiting, might not of had a connection to drugs like, (&a big if) her sister did, who, by the way, made to the hospital where she was sedated properly, finally got to crash. She might surely still could have been feeling the effects of a drug, or if we go the, non sleep way, she's now pushing herself, each time she's let go, to not sleep, & finish HER mission to find her sister.
It's all a hot mess either way, but that's why are brains work the way they do, there most likely is an explanation out there! A true mystery!
Thanks for sharing, just randomly came across this due to me trying to find more about the case. I'm one of those ppl, from America, that understand UK law, but like most of the World, to implicate a certain way, you need to be able to have access to all steps of a process the law implies to get a proper conclusion. 😉

A few people on Reddit mentioned the sisters could have possibly been meth/drug addicts. Sabina could have said “the cigarettes are poisoned” and took them away, because they had drugs in them 🤷🏽♀️

@@dexx7047 Smoking meth is common where I am (in the US) so maybe it was where they came from too? Of course, you're right that it could have been spice or any number of strange drugs instead.
@@badvegan Meth isn't really smoked, it is basically vaporized in glass pipes. You don't typically put it in a cigarette afaik, so I'd say the poisoned cigarettes were just a paranoid delusion.

I saw the British documentary circa 2009 about these twins; I just could not belive what I was seeing. I remember a psychologist talking about their condition and it's some sort of mental illness that is not quite apparent but then suddently errupts out of nowhere ... strange this is that the other sister follows suit in the moment.
Brought a new insight to a very unusual case, excellent video, enjoying the campfire analysis. There was another case were folie a deux came in to play, the tromp family trip. I don’t believe folie a deux played a part in this case, as suggested the psychosis in Sabina continued when they were separated. I do believe a drug of sorts was induced, amphetamine or LSD came to mind.

Really interesting video, very interesting case and analysis of it. My only complaint is the sound used for the warning being a bit too shrill for my liking but it really isn't that bad, catches your attention for sure I guess. Looking forward to the next one
Yeah I used this on purpose as someone pointed out previously that if someone happens to be looking away from the screen when the visual warning pops up they might end up seeing something they don't want to so I chose a sound which was short but caught your attention

If drugs were the cause, Bath Salts would explain the absolute craziness. Bath salts also don't show on typical drug tests unless they're testing for salts specifically.

Ultimately the whole point is the UK is critically understaffed with mental health workers. Had it not have been, then Sabina would probably have been assessed and detained and this poor man wouldn't have been murdered. Our mental health services are in more crisis than ever and a lot of the time they don't even have enough room to section patients so they are forced to prioritise and send who they consider the 'least at risk' back into society on their own.
That's what happens when the government doesn't fund mental health services adequately..

Remember seeing them on Traffic Cops and being shocked at what happened. I just assumed they were off their heads but that might have been the case but there is obvious issues with mental state for both of them
There seems to be a LOT of mental health issuses that was possibly exacerbated by the two being twins. I think there have been a couple of cases where this has happened. Maybe one or both of them were schizophrenic? Or possibly serious psychosis? Folie aux deiux seems to also be a factor here. It just baffles me why Sabina was released to go on such a rampage like that. Then again, there was that schizophrenic BPD lady who stabbed and killed her mum and went on a similar rampage. The tragic thing here is that they were never treated for these sad conditions. There were signs all along. The husband must have noticed something.
A truly bizarre case,. Something to keep in mind is these women were, in all likelihood, under surveillence either by police or the security services or were employed as operatives of some sort. People who have studied this case depth generally come to this conclusion. There is a lot more to this story than what the public have been told, that much is for certain.
I’m amazed when you say that “folie a deux” is so rare that only twelve cases have been found, ever. I think it’s MUCH more common than that. In Britain, as you mention, there are few psychiatrists available, and that to me is why it’s been observed so rarely, and I imagine that is true elsewhere. I have seen this in perhaps three or four couples of family members over my sixty years, and the parent/child relationship seems to be the most common relationship where folie a deux occurs.

Great vid! As always ;) My opinion, cases like this one (and many more ), people need more flexible laws. How a blood sample cannot be taken form an individual where shit like this is happening is beyond my comprehension. Maybe I'm wrong but...
I'm not generally the "but freedom" type but unfortunately police officer prove repeatedly that when given extra powers will quite often use it to abuse minorities.
