Hello! We missed you too! Will have to check out your blog post. I love Italy! ❤ I make tempeh bacon all the time but never thought about rolling it in rice paper. Great idea! My only gripe was that it was never crispy enough so I can’t wait to try it your way! 😋
Well you really won the prize with that facon recipe! I have tried every bacon recipe I have found and none of them had Tempe wrapped up in the rice paper like that. I'm trying not for sure and your other two I'm trying them too I've used soy curls for years, love them they're so versatile. It's great to see you back😊
I also love that you acknowledge that meat eaters aren't going to think it's real meat. I appreciate my vegans who keep it real! Consider me subscribed :)
@@PlantifullyBased I made the first one. And it’s pretty good! I don’t have curls, I’ve used chunks but works just as well! I’ll be making the burger tomorrow :)
Going away for two weeks . . . to _Italy_ ? I aspire to having your kind of life, ha! Loved the recipes and how easy they are; just struggled for a half hour to make some semblance of vegan Swiss cheese for vegan Reubens later this weekend and watching this has re-inspired my creativity. The vegan bacon recipe is brilliant! Thanks for posting 🙂
Haha to be fair I haven’t gone on a vacation for that long in a very long time! I also do work 6 days a week usually! So, it was a nice to finally give myself a break. I’m glad you like the recipe!! Ahhh a vegan Swiss cheese is a hard one!!
Ooooh that burger is calling me! I have all the ingredients- and some textured pea protein which I’m sure would be similar (maybe just the flavor would be different?) It’s burger season soon - if this weather stops playing 😂
Yes!!! Can definitely use the pea protein for it!! Ugh i know one minute it’s sunny the next minute it’s raining and cold, needs to make up its mind 😂😂
Wow. Wrapping the tempeh (vegan bacon) in rice paper is genius! Look forward to making it as well as the soy curl and TVP burger recipes. I have to avoid oil so I imagine these won't taste as good without the added oil but will try! Have you ever used pea protein crumbles? They look similar to TVP. Welcome back from your trip!
thank you so much Melanie! I hope you enjoy them! Yes it will just probably be a bit drier but they still be yummy! Oh yes you can definitely substitute the pea protein crumbles for TVP they are so good. thank you
@@PlantifullyBased I tried them all, making the soy curls again tonight. The burgers were not our favorite, maybe I did them wrong. Thanks for the great recipes!
Great idea to wrap the tempeh! I’m going to have to try that! And on another note, yours nails are gorgeous! What color is that? It’s giving me holiday vibes!
It’s a good amount of salt to my tastebuds! But you can always add in more salt if you like! The chicken less seasoning is very salty bc it’s basically just like a vegan bouillon powder
Thank you so much for sharing this yummiest recipe. It's very delicious very tasty very energetic very healthy and yummy. Weldone 🎉❤❤😊👍.My dear friend you are a very special very talented very precious very cute and pretty wonderful woman and I am completely fascinated by your extraordinary God's given mesmerising personality. You are one in a million, the bestst among all the best, Your all talents and skills are outstanding. Your recipes are fantastic and unique. I'm wishing you alot of success and smiles in all the walks of your life, Stay blessed ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Honestly, just cut tempeh really thin (like 3 - 4 mm, use a mandolin), and fry it in toasted sesame oil and soy sauce - it becomes exceptionally bacon like without steaming and wrapping and being way too thick.
Can you make this without oil. My husband was just diagnosed with lung cancer and I'm trying to learn how to feed him whole food plant based. No oil, no sugar and no salt
Hi everyone! I’ve missed you i hope you’re all doing well and enjoy these new recipes :)

Doesn't the soy curls need more salt? I find them need SO much soy sauce to even taste anything

thank you!
Can I use vegan ground to make a burger if so can u please do a video showing me how I don't like the taste of the store bought burgers
allergic to tempeh; any other meatless bacon suggestions?
Does that mean you are allergic to soy? Or just tempeh?
@@PlantifullyBased apparantly just tempeh and the fungus used in fermentation. Can't eat it without nausea and vomiting.
@ oh okay yeah then i would just use tofu!

I never even liked bacon when I wasn't vegan but vegan bacons are YUM!! 😊
Yay I’m glad to hear that!!
At what temp did you bake the soy curls and potatoes?
425f for 30 mins
Honestly, just cut tempeh really thin (like 3 - 4 mm, use a mandolin), and fry it in toasted sesame oil and soy sauce - it becomes exceptionally bacon like without steaming and wrapping and being way too thick.
You can also try my recipe for a fun vegan bacon recipe :)
Can you make this without oil. My husband was just diagnosed with lung cancer and I'm trying to learn how to feed him whole food plant based. No oil, no sugar and no salt
Hi! You can leave the oil out. There’s no refined sugar in these but a lot of the seasonings have salt like soy sauce or bouillon powder
😋
thank you!
😋😋😋
thank you!!
Spot on bacon for vegans❤
Yay thank you so much!!
I made the bacon and it’s TO DIE FOR
Yay!!! Im so happy you liked it!!
