  • An experiment suggested that Pineapple can cure floaters. Have you wondered whether you have to use Fresh Pineapple or whether you can use canned pineapple for eye floaters? Or maybe if you can use bromelain supplements for eye floaters? You might have a better idea after watching this video. Here is my update on how my eye floaters are going, half way through this 90 day experiment. These are my results after 47 days.

    🤓 A little about my eyesight: 🤓
    I have had glasses for astigmatism since I was 7 years old, but I only needed them for specific circumstances, like reading blackboards or night driving (not when I was 7, obviously).
    At the age of 22 I landed an office job, and with my lovely new money I bought a smart phone. 6 months later, I had myopia (also known as short sightedness or near sightedness) and had to wear glasses full-time.
    My prescription has been going up since then, and I have been freaking out as I sit back and watch my eyesight deteriorate, feeling helpless and scared.
    I was up to -3 in my left eye, and -2.5 in my right eye when I discovered Jake Steiner and the EndMyopia method.
    I am still only a few months in, but already I am seeing at almost -2.00 in my left eye -1.75 in my right eye. Small changes, but any improvement is amazing when my eyes have only been deteriorating for the last 10 years.
    I am loving knowing more about eyesight and how eyes function. It's fascinating, and learning so much feels empowering. I love that I no longer feel helpless about my vision. I have also quit my smartphone so I could get over my screen addiction. I even bought a Nokia to get me out of temptation's way! Since doing this, I have been making progress with my vision, but also have regained so much of my life and time and perspective, so this vision journey is definitely having positive knock-on effects in my life as a whole.

    Hey Gemily!
    I've actually been watching your pinneaple journey from the very start and I'm on day 50 right now and I've had major changes at the very beginning and it seems to have slowed down dramatically in progression. Despite that, I'm still aiming for 3 months minimum and I've actually seen certain floaters break apart and disappear for good. My floater is mostly faint now..sure it's incredibly visible I'm bright daylight but it's not a terrible tentacle monster that it used it be.
    Keep at it & don't miss your days! 😅
    Tip - Aim to eat fresher pinneaples (Green) it's more sour and that means more bromelain kick!
    Good luck on your journey!

    I am seeing improvements and it has only been a week. my floaters are more translucent and mobile. I am going to give this process a year and reassess it. I anyway eat a very clean diet and love my fruits so there is no issue in adding pineapple to my breakfast along with my melons and watermelons. I generally noticed an improvement as well after I eliminated all grains legumes beans and such. I basically eat big bowls of salads from all sorts of vegetables, I drink a glass of bone broth a day, use good fats on my salads that are organic and cold-pressed olive and almond oil, eat a handful of nuts, an egg a day, and some chicken here and there with ghee. been doing this for the past 3 months, and I feel much much better- from massive black cobweb floaters to really translucent rings that are hardly noticeable.

      @G E T R E K T No i most definitely did not. my vision was perfect with not a single speck or floater. I was poisoned by a pharmaceutical i was prescribed by my doctor, and it damaged my eyes and gave me a ton of floaters.

    • @SludgeMan90
      @SludgeMan90 2 года назад

      @G E T R E K T In fact, I believe that most people who develop floaters in their 20s do so as a result of toxicity. it seems to be a very common adverse effect of many pharmaceuticals, from anti depressants, to certain antibiotics to acne drugs.

    Hello mam, 1st 6week use differental glasses for close up activity then next 6week use normal glasses then next week which glasses use?

    • @GemilyMez
      @GemilyMez  2 года назад

      1st 6 weeks: Use differentials for close up, and your full correction for everything else
      2nd 6 weeks: Keep using your differentials for close up, and get a slightly weaker pair of glasses (called normalised) for everything else.
      3rd 6 weeks: get a slightly weaker pair of differentials, keep using the pair of normalised that you did the previous six weeks.
      4th 6 weeks: keep wearing the same pair of differentials that you did the previous 6 weeks, and get a slightly weaker pair of normalised for everything else.
      *6 weeks is just a guide - listen to your eyes and pay attention to whether they are ready to reduce then. It may take longer, especially if you habits are not so good. All the best for your journey!

    People who are using the active focus method say they get floaters from it. And now i see that you are having it too. Should I stop doing it?

    • @GemilyMez
      @GemilyMez  2 года назад

      Active focus is just allowing your eyes to do what they naturally do. I had floaters already. I find a noticeable increase in floaters after periods of extended close up phone use. my recommendation would be to avoid that close up and, when it comes to active focus, don't force it. Just take your time, and let your eyes relax. I am not an optometrist or medical professional though, so you need to make your own decisions. But my feeling is that close up phone use is far more likely to cause problems.

      I made a video not too long ago about my optometrist results. But when I put on glasses that the optometrist says are right for me they feel to strong, ultra HD, and hurt. The glasses I wear now are -1.5/-1.75.
      I started at -2.5/-3 glasses (but I started because things were getting blurry again, so probably more like -2.75/-3.25 in reality it I had seen an optometrist again just as I started EndMyopia).
      It is not a quick fix. It is slow and steady. But the requirements for the EndMyopia method are easy to incorporate into one's life, so the fact that you end up doing it for a few years isn't a problem - may as well be improving over those years rather than getting worse, right?

    Hi, I am also trying pineapple experiment, and for this I am using fresh pineapple juice daily one large glass of it ( center part of pineapple included ) I was fortunate enough to find pure pineapple juice shops in my locality. Just was curious if pineapple juice will work or should I eat or make smoothie?
    Please answer what u think.
    Hope ur and everyone else's floters disappears with this pineapple.
    Love from India.
    God bless u.

    • @GemilyMez
      @GemilyMez  2 года назад +2

      From what I can tell, if it is freshly juiced, then yes it should still contain the bromelain. If it is processed for a longer shelf life or some other "improvement", then probably not:
      "the processing methods-frozen concentrated, canned, and bottled (pasteurized), destroy all enzymes, and negate the pineapple’s anti-inflammatory properties."
      www.thejuicenut.com/pineapple_juice_the_juice_nut.aspx
      Just be aware that pineapple juice is high in sugar, and you are not getting the fibre that the fruit would give to balance that out.
      All the best!! Let us know how it goes for you!

    • @chacha_jiji419
      @chacha_jiji419 2 года назад

      @@GemilyMez thanks for the reply, fortunately the at the shops the pineapples are not fully ripe. they are more like greenish and rawish, juicy but not too sweet, different from the one we buy to eat. I tried once eating a quarter pineapple daily for a week but my teeth got sensitive from it, so I stopped the practice.
      It's been 15 - 20 (missed 2 days) days since I started the juice, but not noticed any improvement yet. I will definitely let everyone know if anything happens, positive or negative.
      Hope for the best.

    • @GemilyMez
      @GemilyMez  2 года назад

      My scientific finding was that it is jolly hard to adhere perfectly to this in real life for 90 days. And if it is just me drawing my floaters on a piece of paper, how scientific was it really going to be? I didn't claim to be a scientific experiment - just trying something out and reporting my experience. Anyway, since you are here for the science, you may be interested in this discovery from a member of the EndMyopia forum:
      "Also I need to inform you about something quite important and I keep on forgetting. I saw This wiki: 'Floaters - EndMyopia Wiki' about the natural treatment of floaters and this article : 'Pineapple Enzymes: A Natural Cure For Eye Floaters? - Endmyopia® - Improve Eyesight Naturally' and I have to tell you that I discovered that the study is false.
