    Hi Gemily,
I also tried many Bates' things, (including Sun Gazining) working on my vision. But I never tried Pineapples.
It is our nature to explore new ideas, we are now both doing it.
The problem is that it is very difficult to measure, "floaters", and "improvement".
If it where me, I would not be wearing a minus lens, as I made this video. Your vision at 25 inches, should be clear enough. My experience, is that a minus vision makes my distant vision worse, never better.
Science proves this beyond any reasonable doubt. In his recent video, Jake shows this result also.

Yeah, while editing this I was surprised to see I had my glasses on. But as you can see, it is night time when I am filming, and night time with artificial light is always a little more tricky for going glasses-free. We experimenters can waste our time, but we can also work out what actually works - and I love finding what works.

      @@GemilyMez Hi Gemily,
You report "Official studies," about Pineapple. Good.
I report on ODs, what they THINK, and Official studies, THEY TOTALLY IGNORE!
I truly love how "close", Jake gets to Scientific Truth.
We need Jake, and his adjustable eye.
He is right as pure science.
This science, is always trashed, always by ODs.
      (Why is that TRUE?)
That is where I, "draw the line"!
My success, was finding an Optometrist, who told me the truth, even though he TRASHED, his own profession in that process.

"reductions" in EndMyopia are referring to lens reductions - reducing the strength of glasses.
The main points of EndMyopia are 1. Lower correction for close up 2. Active focus. 3. Lower correction for distance.
Because your correction requirements are so low, I would imagine that for you, you already do not need glasses for close up.

Hey! Help me plzz i am confused in my case... When i am 15 years old i got low myopia (L - 0.5, R - 0.75) but i don't wear glasses at all... Now after 3 years i have high myopia (L - 2, R - 2.5) till now i don't wear my glasses... Now i got blur adaptation 😑... I got my new full prescription (L - 2, R - 2.5) last week... And i wear them for distance activities (watching tv, walk or when i sit outside home or seeing nature) i don't use them for close up... Thanks a lot if you read till here please read little bit more... Now 1 week is over and i stop doing my bad close up activities (playing video games for hours, going inside my phone's screen for hours) but i don't got any change like i am still blur adapted... Jake says in there blog that 'Long term uncorrected low myopia blur adaptation'... And talk about having mostly - 1.75 but i have - 2, - 2.5 😑... How i remove my blur adaptation?

    Hi Gemily,
I tried the same one or two years ago, but instead of pineapple i took a bromelain supplement for three months. I'm not sure if that works better or worse than pure pineapple... My floaters definetely got more transparent and smaller, but like you said, they moved around a lot quicker, so I stopped after I finished the jar.

Nice video! Yes I have been eating half can of pineapple chunks for about a week. Massive floaters appeared suddenly in my left eye mostly blocking vision in that eye. Barely could see anything using my left eye. After a week of pineapple, I can mostly see through my left eye and floaters have become much more transparent, and smaller. Not sure though if lessening of floaters is due to pinapple or something else.

      @scotsam7590 2 года назад +1

Hi Springer, I've just started the pineapple experiment. I've read in a few places and only from other comments that it has to be fresh pineapple because the canned goes through some processing which diminishes the brom. I'd love to know if the canned works for you when you've completed the cycle.

Can pineapple possibly make floaters worse? I am 67. I have had small amoeba like floaters most of my life. Last year when I first saw the article about pineapple possibly making floaters vanish, I thought even if it does nothing to help the floaters, eating pineapple cannot hurt right? So I began eating the recommended amount daily. After one month not only did the floaters not improve, but suddenly i had a gigantic cloud in my left eye and flashes of light in my peripheral vision when I moved my eyes left and right. Fearing a detached retina, I went to the retina specialist. No detached retina but now huge floaters from vitreous gel coming loose from the retina. In another two weeks the same thing occurred to my right eye.
So maybe it is all age related. But if the bromelain in the pineapple does somehow change the consistency and integrity of the gel inside the eye, then maybe it is possible that it can make matters worse and not necessarily better for floaters.
Oh, and on top of the new large floaters, the acid in the pineapple gave me weekly canker sores and acid indigestion.

Hi, when i tried eating pineapple everyday months ago i experienced that phenomenon you showed at 4:02. It would happen only when i was reading a text through the monitor and maybe while watching the white wall behind the screen. Sometimes i could follow that little flash for a second then it would disappear as you showed at 4:02. Do you have more info about this eye glitch? Do you have it too? Can you link me something? Sometimes I get something like this if I have been looking at a screen for too long. If you see flashing lights though, it is always good to get it checked by an opthamologist - it could be nothing to worry about (probably is all fine), but it could also be an issue with the retina that needs monitoring.

Such a shame it did not work for you. I wasn't sure whether it worked for me last time or not - was so hard for me to really tell. I have had other people say it didn't work for them, but also others telling me that it did work, and a couple saying that it did work but only after 6 months. Considering these kinds of things aren't necessarily yes-and-no, black-and-white results - it can work for some and not others, it can work just a little or a lot - I have decided to try again. I mean, I really like pineapple, so I don't mind giving it another go even if it is.... fruitless. 😉
