Not a simple man, but a very very wise man.
Glad to hear the Lives are coming back
Awesome to see you back!!!
Watching you switch the busted screen so effortlessly was magic.
Glad your back. Look forward to more.

Welcome Back Brother
Love the comeback, great production quality! 👍
The struggle is real. Nice vid, brother.
It sure is
More split frame Cam's hard at work in the screen room please! Hilarious 😆
How sweet it is.
Always a great and inspiring watch
I have about 20 Newman roller frames. Been using the Gorilla tape.... Both the clear and the black. Been about 4 yrs now. Do the whole reclaiming bit and no issues so far. Use Franmar products. So as long as that tape is high tack u should have no problems.
Gorilla tape? Haha It goes on and never comes off.
@@ThePrintLife yea.... I had to de-tape a screen and clean it. That was an experience. Ended up using lacquer thinner to get the residue off ...yeaaaa.... Wahoo. But once its there..... Its there. I can still tension with the tape on now. 110 mesh im hitting 40 newtons. Drum roll please.... And thank you! Hope this helps. Good 2 cu back on youtube.
Nice camera work there Cam.
I use the same tape and from what I have seen as long as it does have any air bubbles when laid down that it will stay where you place it. I have had some problems getting tape off most times and more so if there is any plastisol ink on it at all.
Not Sure about "chemical" resistant tape. But Ryonet's "Solvent" Resistant tape comes right off with hot water.
thanks for the vid why are leaving water based inks
Hey Cam the art is fire man , do you sell any of your art ?
Cam try the Polyken 221 tape if you’re having issues. It’ll last through reclaim. That being said I’m not sure why your panel popped there. I use endurance panels also and they’ve been awesome. Hopefully it was just a fluke!
My side clamps do extended into the mesh but I have never had that happen before. Are you using the EZ Type of frames as well in your shop? or do you use roller frames?
@@ThePrintLife I’m using the EZ frames also.
@@ThePrintLife I actually just rewatched where it popped. Looks like you have the Endurance panel bars on there with a standard EZ panel if I saw that correctly. That might be the issue since the standard panels and endurance panels have a different style bar. The panels that have the heavy glue/rubber stuff around the edges should hold up way better.
@@Spudz89 oh is there a different stretcher bar for the ez mesh panels?? That would make sense.
@@ThePrintLife The actual stretching tool is the same but they make 2 types of bars depending on which panel style you use. I have both styles. I can send you a photo if it makes it easier. I should be back in the shop tomorrow. We got hammered with snow the last 2 days.
How is the anatol thunder micro registraion working after 3 years
Hey Cam, glad to see you're back at it. I was wondering how the LED light is working for your exposure unit? Are you able to do you halftones? My exposure unit it's quite old and cuz I'm in Canada I cannot source new T12 fluorescent tubes for my unit..... It's like they're illegal here. I have a few of the 50 watt LED units in my Amazon cart and just wanted to see how they are working out for you before I order them and rip apart my exposure unit.
as long as you are grabbing the correct light. It still works like a charm. 20 second exposure times
Why are you getting rid of water base inks?
Can you give me a link to your website I’m hopping to start a business but I heard your shirts are cheap so ima buy quite a lot I know it’s at the end of your vid but can you explain how to put designs on there more I’m a little slow
Why are you dropping Water based in k for Plastisol "ONLY"?
I have the same question. Always think about getting into waterbase, but always come out thinking plastisol is such less hassle.
@@russmccoy3879 Waterbase is super thin and prints easier, clean up is quick with a garden hose, but drying time can kill you without the right equipment. Imagine 240 images with plastisol curing for 30 seconds on a conveyor, VS 240 images curing for 3 minutes on a conveyor.
I have pit that tape on 1 time and reclaim it 3 or 4 times so far and that type of tape is still on
So with it being chemical resistant tape, does that mean it's a little tough to get off and clean up the screen from it? Also, was that Gigi making a brief appearance in the screen coating room? Finally, what is this shirt design going to be used for?
Cam do you have open spots for your shop management software?
Hey man, does artwork always have to be a vector file or is it cool to work from a high res illustration?
Either way. You can sep em both.
What is it you don’t like about water base ink.
I like waterbased ink but printing with it is horrible.
It is awesome seeing the EZ Frames in use. They are cool but they seemed almost too good to be true.
I know right. So far I'm liking them. Im seeing a world where all I have in the shop is 24 EZ frames, and shit loads of mesh panels.
@@ThePrintLife here's my wildest fantasy: that I can print from a set of screens, then wash the ink off, take the screens out the frame - with emulsion still on - and store them. The money shot would be putting those same screens back into frames and printing from them again, saving the time of emulsing, drying, flashing, washing, and drying.
That could be a DIY POD method for people trying to start a line on a tight budget
What frame system you are using, looks awesome.
This is the Shur Loc EZ frame system.
can you remove a panel w/ the design still in it and put it back on later to print with it again? even with a multi color job and still have it register?
Yes; in theory when I have the pre reg working I should be able to pull a screen and throw it back on with ease.
Hello, how long does plastisol expire?
I HAVE LAVA PERFECT WHITE FOR 2 YEARS I can use it
I wouldn't
Yo quiero 1 playera para Guadalajara México
Bro i am facing problems and i am a beginner learning from youtube about 2months how could i communicate with you better? please man
The tape will stay...but over time the adhesive starts to break down and will stick and gunk up the frames
Copy that. Thanks for the input.
damn cam so handsome
Was that your brother from another mother? Or your brother from the same mother? Or am I just buzzing hard?
use duck tape for the screens
