@@ThePrintLife thank you so much for the reply. I made it 14 wide and 16 long. However I may re cut the platen since it came out ever so slightly not straight and my OCD is getting to me lol
I have this same press but the alignment area is slightly different mine has like berings but I can't figure out how to adjust them I just used electric tape to fill in the gap but is still not solid . if you have any suggestions I would highly appreciate it .
how about use 4 color with that diy screen press?
Thanks for the tip with the heat gun
Quick question. What type of screws did you use?
And for the other board is that a 8ft 2 by 8?
The screws were crappy dry wall screws. I litteral cut them with clippers so they wouldnt pierce the surface of the pallet. I'm not sure about the length of the 2x6 I think it started at about 6 foot. Just use what ever scrap you can find.
Do you have a link to the plans for making the screen printing press
He I got tha same 4color press and I cant get it to be level
For sure... Its a finikey litttle basterd.
Can you explain about screen printing rotation table detail bro ?
I will have another video out soon.
Ok what’s tripping me up is what screen frame and drama do you use and where do you get one
Nice! I like where you're going with this. Title and all... I see what you did there. :) Keep up the great work!
Yup try to expand that audience.
If you let it dry on a hanger will the paint drip?
Cam!! The camera used for this video? Also, I did not see the 2 clamps listed. Thanks!
Oh shoot I will add that those clamps to the store tonight.
The camera is the canon m50. Its listed on my amazon store.
@@ThePrintLife thank you dear!
any links to the white ink you’re using ?
Great video! But the real question here is can you turn the cheap press into a multi color press to try out before investing heavily?
I would not waste much time building a 4 color press personally. Not to say people don't make it work, but there is a point of diminishing returns. I would try the blue press because it is basically free most spend more on mcdonalds in a week. No matter how I slice it, screen printing is not cheap, the inks, emulsions chemicals all cost money. So there will always be an investment.
Good video 👌
If the platen's are to big on the blue carousel what size do you recommend for T-shirt printing?
Honestly I would just trim one inch of each side and it would be good. But that big pallet would be good for printing small posters
Cool thanks - literally have just started getting back into screen printing because of your channel !
What type of paint did you use? I could not hear you properly
Hi! What kind of paint was it? And the grid? I want to compare it with my own.
