You have a natural ability for teaching. You are the epitome of consistency and flow. I took notes and didn't have to watch the video 20 times to make sure I understood the instruction(s). I ordered 40 motor kits and I'm on my 33rd, 34th, and 35th motorizing the bikes. I have an assembly line of 3 bikes going at the same time. I build bikes and sell for collection purposes. My bikes are vintage like the choppers, spiders, and 50's era with the shock absorber spring in front of the handle bars. All completed bikes have sold. Love my hobby.

Yo, you're pretty smart. I took about two years of small engine, and just came back in from working on my GT Timberline that can do 35-40 by the end of the block with an almost 40 year old fat guy on it, and everything you said made sense, and I even learned a couple of ideas for my bike. Thanks for making this video.

.026-28 for the plug gap on just about everything with a magnet magneto ignition... .035 is what they come with it's standard for automotive because they have stronger coils and electric... A blue spark and the electrode needs to be centered and even with the ground strap... Those cheap round and wire gauges for plugs have legs for bending the ground strap... Nice video

This dude is spot on with his facts!!! I run a Yd-100 with a G2-reed, OKO carb, and a Yz80 exhaust, and the Br8hs plug is my top pick. I would have also discussed oil types, premix ratios, and maybe even running E85. I do not agree with not using an exhaust gasket, but that is not something to argue about. Once again, a great video. Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ I file the mating surfaces perfectly flat and smooth don’t need much to seal it good to carry a gasket in case ya have to take exhaust off for some reason but many times I flattened them applied ultra grey and took off before it even cured and didn’t have leak issues it lasted longer than the gasket did. And the rubber gasket w the metal sandwiched in we get stock sucks a thin brown paper gasket lasts longer especially if ya file the surfaces flat

I found this tip helpful tape the paper flat on a piece of glass and make sure ya keep it level in the paper as ya turn sometimes ya lift the corner a bit and that can lead to it being shorter on one side corner so also turn the cylinder using the same motion same number of rotations s like do fig8 10x rotate do 10 rotate but rotate it 1/8 at a time hold flat side then corner then flat side if ya measure it ya will find that it can leave low spots (0.1mm) don’t matter really what figure shape ya use but that ya use even pressure and even motion

Best mods to do first are to tune the carb by jetting it down since they all come to a main carb jet that is to large, then drill 2-3 extra holes innthe muffler cap to zget better exaust flow anf also do some die fri der work on exhaust pipe flange to get it more closely matched to exhaust port of cyl.
for a noob that knows nothibg anout engines these things along with some of whats suggested in this video will improve how the engine runs, but just know that if crani balance is horrible and the port timing is way off, the revs of the engine will be limited by these two factors, no matter how many other thing you do to it
Mant thungs will affect the overall performance of these engines. I have 14 years experience modifying wnd tinkering with these little engines so Ive seen a lot with them.

I noticed someone mentioned to plain your head on glass so that has been addressed. . A figure 8 sanding motion will yeild a better plain than a circular motion .
Lastly , when porting the intake you want to cross hatch it and leave it rough for better fuel atomization .
When you polish the intake , which you shouldn't do , it doesn't atomize the fuel as well as if were left rough .
Anyone should only polish the exhaust and not the intake .
